Anilao Matahari

This place is amazing: beautiful place, nice people, and nice dive sites for free diving or Scuba diving. The food is delicious and James is a real professional diving Instructor. Will definitely go back there soon.

Staff are friendly, food is good. Most of all, professional, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth and dive masters and instructors. If you want to learn more about scuba diving, this is the best place to go.

They also have complete set of diving equipment for all sizes.

This was a late review. The Matahari Resort in Anilao is a good place to visit if you are for a scuba diving for the sumbrero island and some ship wreck diving. A lot of turtles on the shore line.and you might meet a start like we did. Mr. Bamboo. The resort is clean and the buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner is very good. DM and Staff are friendly. Great to meet new friends like I did. Thanks for a wonderful time it's worth remembering from time to time.:)

Our booking ‘til check out was very smooth. They are responsive and they follow protocols as they require a negative antigen swab result.

Our experience here was wonderful. It was simple yet the vibe is so relaxing. Feels like home with an ocean view. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is really good. Bedroom and washroom are clean, as well as the shared/common area. Our room faced the sea.

We went open water swimming and snorkelled just in front of the resort. It was a great experience. My friends went kayaking also.

You will have a blast here especially if you are a free diver or scuba diver.

I also worked (remotely) for a while since I spent a few days here and the internet is faster than what I have back at my place haha if only I can stay here longer.will be back here for sure! Big thanks to Sir James Omac!

I just completed my Open Water 20m RAID course at Anilao Matahari and I had a blast! My instructor Jong David was very thorough in communication regarding theory explanation and practice within the water. He guided me through the whole course and made me feel comfortable. Food was great and the room too. Overall everyone with the dive centre was very supportive and open to answer any questions. Highly recommended diving centre and I will definitely come back for more dives / courses at Anilao Matahari.

Really quaint dive resort with surprisingly new and well maintained rooms. Bang for your buck if you're a dive enthusiast who's looking for an affordable place in Anilao. Food is inclusive in the per person rate so there's really nothing to worry about once you get here.

Lovely seaview. The rooms are spacious and there is a huge verandah to chill out. Huge closets. The bathroom was a little small but it was adequate.

Clean place.great food! The cook is excellent.the dive masters are friendly and great at teaching the skills for diving.what ever is in the bar, it is free to get:)

Great intro diving experience with Diving Master James! Homey atmosphere with delicious dinner served.

The first dive site we visited that week, with already some very nice fish and other creatures. Really worth the visit, but make sure you have a good guide. Without a guide you will probably not find or see a lot

Nice place to stay. Staffs are friendly and helpful. You can snorkel just infront of their place. Sunset viewing is what I really love while sitting on their open cottage, absolutely relaxing!

Anilao Matahari is like a private getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's a relaxing place where you can enjoy scuba diving and the sumptuous food. Mr. Rainier Omac is a very competent diving instructor/master who will make your dive as enjoyable as possible. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
