Although with an unfortunate event, it rained all day and we weren't able to go out and enjoy nature, the rooms, staff and food are unmatched.

This site, by far, is the best glamping we have ever been to. We'll be back in the summertime.

I went there solo and via commute. It was a great stay. Place is peaceful with a great view of the lake. Food is good too. I was able to get a discount on the food when I pre-ordered. There's a free marshmallow during bonfire

Ito yung resort na ayaw mo na balikan, sobrang scam to pati yung table na kakainan mo kailangan mo book at bayaran, yung a/c 100 pesos per hour, 1,200 yung kayak for 3 hours, yung kuryente nawawala wala, as in lahat ng galaw dito may bayad literal akala mo makakamura ka pero mapapamura ka na lang! Yung tipong gusto mo na lang mag early check out! Sad experience! Take note din hindi sya maganda for kids!

Super nice. Expensive din but you can bring foods naman but make sure na sunny day kayo pumunta to enjoy more. Make sure also na may event or atleast gig pagpunta niyo para mas ma enjoy siya.

Rude staff and not much to do here anyway. You'd be better off in King's Landing where people are friendly and accommodating. Owner of King's Landing is a very cool dude, plus they have a game room with billiards.

What a way to take a glamping vacation. The place has this quiet and calm vibe.

Please make sure you bring utensils and other stuff you'd bring in a camping tour, except if you are staying on the T houses.

Cons.
No security, gate can be opened by anyone while you are asleep. Main door lock defective

Airconditioning and heater can be used but for additional charges.

Broken door locks, all basic necessities are charged (AC, heater and toiletries and bed sheets). Scam in disguise when you see it in Airbnb.
There are other available resorts nearby far better than this.
Water in unavailable in our room in upper area. We have to request water from them. The additional cost of toilet rooms is useless since water is unavailable.

A lot are still in progress.

Canoe is 1.2k for 3hrs
AC use is 1.8 for overnight/800 for 8hrs
Heater is 1k for overnight.

GLAMping but not GLAM.
Never again.

Oh. Where to start. Stayed here this weekend.
Pros:
1. The architecture was okay and was good for pics, if youre into that. In fact, it's pretty if you take pictures from the lake.
2. The food was okay. Serving size was good.

Cons:
1. There was no water during the first half of our stay and i think we got water close to midnight na. The staff KNEW may problems with water and did not bother informing incoming guests. (One staff even said that they dont know why bookings kept getting accepted when management knows there is no water!).

They tried to make up for it by providing service water buckets. When they initially opened the water valve, it ran out after just a few minutes and the staff gaslighted us by saying "andami niyo po kasing nakabook".

2. There were zero amenities. No toiletries OR tissue. And there were no beddings provided!

The management (and all the signs around the resort) kept on gaslighting us saying that the concept is "camping" and glamping only means camping but you have access to toilet and water (lol wala ngang tubig eh!), but then that wouldn't explain the very expensive price tag. Imagine paying for 3k+ but you have to bring everything lol. It doesn't make sense to charge exorbitantly AND THEN tell guests that we have to make do with whatever is there. Even motels have free soap.

3. There was soap left by previous occupants in our bathroom lol. Which doesn't justify the very late check-in of 3pm if you wont clean extensively anyway.

5.3k+ is not cheap esp bec there is a charge for everything else. AC is 1800 overnight. Hot shower is 1k+. Plus no toiletries or beddings. So, uhm, what was included in what we paid? Lol.

6. We paid extra for 2 more people and there were no additional amenities/toiletries/beddings watever provided. At this point, we have paid close to 7k+ na, wala pang AC, hot shower yan ah. Tapos sasabihin sayo na di mo deserve ang toiletries at water kasi "camping" nga. Wat? Hahaha

7. You can also kayak, for a whopping price of 1200 for 3 hours. To be fair, they gave us a free hour of kayak (because we've been ranting about the lack of water since we arrived). Still, DONT DO IT. We rode a dilapidated 3 seater boat, and were provided with paddles that aren't the same size and were given 3 life vests, with one vest that cant be tied close. If that's what you're gonna pay for 400/hour, not worth it.

8. There was no concierge and no part of the management team that went to us to apologize for all the water problems (we had a hint that some members of the management since they opened a new restaurant).

9. Owner gaslighted my friend pa sa airbnb, saying these exact phrases:
"Although this group of Guests are all well-informed beforehand that we are NOT a (luxury) Resort but just a Camp Site with accommodation units better than camping tents, they still expected facilities and amenities that usual well-equipped Resorts offer. "

> Again, motels have running water and toiletries. Anong luxury dun?

"Instead of appreciating the abundant lush green mountains, the fresh water lake, the birds, the fish, and the simple living at the countryside that we offer, they chose to see what were lacking during their supposed to be nature-adventure trip. "

> Lol, ano daw?
> Nature-adventure doesnt even make sense because aside from the accomodations, you only have a small part of the lake to roam around and medyo careful ka pa kasi may mga rooms/accoms din malapit sa shore. If you want to have any sort of activity, may bayad pa.

10. They keep on saying that they are the first glamping site sa Cavinti, pero they would also keep insisting na CAMPING lang talaga sila. Eh choose one. You can't claim glamorous camping pero ipagkakait mo basics ng isang motel sa guest mo kasi nga "camping". Hay.

STAY AWAY.
Had a long review posted in airbnb but not everything go through.

TLDR

Main problem we opted for the T houses which promised an en suite shower and toilet that even offered a shower heater (with a charge). We were willing to pay extra for the convenience.when we arrived we learned the units did not have any water supply for WEEKS and the water had to be supplied with pails. They were working on a deep-well system which was being constructed at the moment but there was no promise it would work on time.
Owner did not inform me of this beforehand despite our communication. Reached out to him and instead of apologizing, he had the AUDACITY to call us demanding guests for demanding a 5-star experience when all we wanted was a working toilet like we paid for.

1 star for owner's bad attitude.

Thanks to airbnb we were able to get a partial refund.

The room we booked was new and we were told the place was officially open. When we saw the unit, there was no water. We have gone 2 days without water. Only service recovery was buckets of water provided. No heater for showers at all. No toilet seat installed. And they said they would allow for Aircon overnight. Property gave the excuse that the ones they had was poor quality. I had to gripe before they provided one and it broke on day 2 and my wife was hurt by it. We booked the stay way in April. I feel that they have had been dishonest about the shortcomings. While I must say the building and lake is aesthetically pleasing. This was supposed to be a glamping experience and doesn't at all come cheap. No cafe for food too and they said food would be made available like platter of BBQ. Unnecessarily strict on booking policy especially during COVID. Not worth the money spent. Very poor service recovery. Manager was a no show eventhough I requested.

Only good for 1-time visit.
For the amenities provided,  the cabin is pricey.
There is no air conditioning,  and the room is tiny; the door does not lock,  and the screen is already loose; and some of the vinyl on the floor is chipped,  which could lead to accidents if you are not careful

I'd want to compliment the staff; they were very warm and welcoming to our requests, and even though we came late on our check-in schedule, they accommodated us.

Mura when you rent the place pero super dami extra charges pag nandun na kayo. Note na very unprofessional mga staff and owner nang bloc camp site. Pag may need kayo, di kayo aasikasuhin kagad at pag nag reklamo kayo sa owner, wala silang pake di ka nila sasagutin. Will not recommend. Mukang pera!

The experience is good even with a gloomy weather. I suggest schedule during the sunny days because you won't be doing much in case. Check forecast if needed.

Bonfire is available at specific time. The staffs are so friendly. I highly recommend bringing your own food because buying on site will be costly, like for real. There is a grilling area, clean comfort rooms and showers. You can also cook at your bloc, just bring your kitchen.

Only few parking spaces available. Some rocky roads but accessible even for sedans.

Mostly is clean but I've seen some styrofoam, plastic bottles just beside our bloc which seems like they just ignored picking.

Kids are allowed but considered as one adult which kids perks won't apply.

You should try the canoeing / kayaking, it is costly but at least you got something to do other than staring at your walls.

Beautiful outdoor lake view contrasted with modern aesthetic.

Great outdoor camping location. View of the lake is amazing. We stayed at Tree T-house and while the outdoors and outside look was amazing, indoor experience, specifically sleeping condition is almost uncomfortable. The sofa bed, when converted to a bed, does not actually fit in the tight space. The extended part of the sofa that is supposed to serve as the pillow actually made the sleeping space even smaller. We had to squeeze the sofa bed in in order to maximize sleeping area.

It was mentioned during booking that anyone above 5’8” will have a difficult time but that was not the problem. With two people, it is very hard to move around as well.

We also pre ordered breakfast, as recommmended. However, when we ask for the serving time, we were advised of 7: 30am time. After a few follow-ups, out breakfast arrived at 8: 25am. Perhaps bringing breakfast is a better option.

Despite these two inconveniences, our overall stay was generally pleasant. The expansive view of nature will almost instantly relax you. Just be mindful that it can be very cold (we booked jn early January) so better bring jackets/raincoats. Thankfully, the owner advised us beforehaand of the weather forecast, so we came prepared.

I bet it will be much better experience if we visited during summer (it was raining for about half of our stay). Would recommend this place if youre looking for a break from busy city life and want to experience outdoors in modern style.

Would've gave 5 star. But there's no stores available inside the camp to buy food and beverages.

Much has changed upon your visit to The Bloc this late 2022 than when you first visited in 2021. The density has doubled with 2 truck camping and 3 additional cube houses, perhaps good for progress unless you came here for some solitude. You will not find that now as you'll be greeted by party beats from the property's neighbor. But then perhaps you came here to party yourself and enjoy the glamping experience.

There are still the basics - water, electricity and a proper cooking area. But the rest are worn for wear. Many things need repainting or replacement especially the rusted benches, tables and grill tops. The aluminum and glass doors have also given up and some are already stuck and unusable. However, if you've visited here before, you would remember that the helpful and accommodating staff made up for all the inconveniences.

Unfortunately, some staff change must have happened. This is an accommodation now without accommodation. You'll be greeted by no one and your requests will be mostly denied, unless you're ready to pay more. From stepping into the barge, use of the kayak or boat, or early check ins or late check outs, every request has a respective price tag.

If you're still interested in The Bloc, there is still a lot to go for it and I do hope they bring back the original charm that made it popular in the first place. But during the time of COVID, it worries me that none of their staff have masks on. Sanitation of the rooms is therefore also in question.

(P. S.the ₱25 rice is good stuff)
Edit: I recently raised this review to 3 stars as the owner tried to make up for his staff's deficiencies. Though, as newly trained staff, an experienced manager should have been there to guide them the whole time.

Around 3am the electricity went off. Thinking it was a power interruption, we went to the orientation area and there were no staff available to inquire with. It was already around 8am when we found out that the electricty was accidentally unplugged or there was a problem with the switch as explained by one of their staff. It was their responsibility to ensure these amenities for their guests. They apologized for it but really, it was really irresponsible on their part. We felt like we were derpived from what we paid for. There were no offers or anything to compensate their fault.

The cube that we rented was a bit shaky. Felt like the floor will fall off anytime.

No bonfire as it may attract other guests from other areas according to one of their staff (doesn't make sense). Really disappointing to be honest.

And of course, the bathroom/restroom, which according to them they were on a scheduled water service and that day theres limited water available. That is actually okay, but that doesn't mean that we would expect a dirty bathroom. It was very smelly and seems like it wasn't cleaned for several days.
