Cecilia's Buco Pie, Tarts and Pasalubong reviews
38Enough parking slots in front and beside their store. Freshly baked pies deserves a visit. Nice selection of pasalubong. Only one cashier is open even if the line is already long and there are other 2 cashier lines not being used.
I always pass by here for their buco pies, apple pies, espasol. The taste and freshness is superb!
Our family love this place! Their fresh buco pies are just so good! We highly recommend it to our relatives and friends. Theirs also a wide selection of goodies to choose from. Their store is located almost everywhere now in Tagaytay but this is where we often stop before we head home.it can be crowded at times but thats OK.
Purchased soooo many goods! And I mean soooo many! About 3 bags full of items and the price was outrageously Cheap. Less then 2k just wow!
Highly recommend this location. Thank you.
Bought some pasalubong here. They have buko pie that really taste good, tart with different variety. I actually enjoyed the the tart then buti ng kalabasa.
We bought a bunch of buko pies and sweets from Cecilia’s but when asked to disclose if the pastries have any animal products the staff and chef gave different answers every time asked.
Being a Muslim, it is important that I do not consume any pork or non halal animal products.
The staff were so ambiguous in describing the ingredients which I find strange because it is customary for manufacturer of edibles to disclose the contents on the packaging. After paying for two pies, I decided to ask if the pies have any animal product and I was told that it contains LARD which is a big no no for muslims. My friend who came along with me refused to believe that the buko pies contain lard hence decided to ask again - this time we were told that the pie contains only coconut milk.
I was hesitant with the answer and decided to contact Cecilia’s on FB. Again the answer given was different, this time the buko pie contains milk and they can not disclose if lard was used.
This is so unprofessional and I do not recommend this establishment to any muslim, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian or anyone who cares about what they put in their mouth.
Please do better and train your staff how to deal with people with nutritional restrictions.
Kahit umaga Mahaba pila. Their Buko pie is good, Marami naman na choices ngayun not like dati. Personally I like the original flavor ; my sister recommends the ube buko pie. It’s expensive though.for 2 buko pie abot kang 700+ pesos.
Always the better place to buy pasalubongs before going back to Manila from Tagaytay.
Before going to CALAX.
Products are okay. Except for pies, products are not local specialties. Just regular pasalubong. Store overcrowded. They let around 30 people inside. They should have a takeout counter outside to avoid being inside with crowds of people waiting in line for 20 minutes. Felt quite unsafe. Avoid Sundays.
Their Ube Buco Pie is absolutely heavenly! And the Charito's espasol is yummy too.
I am just super bummed with Gillian's pastillas de leche and the Macapuno with milk. The size is dismal. Packaging was meant to deceive. And the taste is like literally just eating half a teaspoon of sugar. Nakabwisit.
The store should consider getting another consignor for these products.
The perfect pasalubong experience. A place to get your token treats for your friends to touch their hearts.
Maraming tao pero mabilis lng ung line, they only accept CASH. And sabi ni Ate cashier their buko pie could last for 5 days when u refrigerate. We bought 3 boxes of that along with pastillas and merengue
As of June 2022 the quality of this buko pie has suffered. The crust has thickened. The bottom part is tough to eat and the buko content is that generous anymore.
This is one stop Place where you can buy a variety of pasalubong food stuff in one place.they have a lot of choices. Their buko pie is great. But on weekends, place is crowded
Just normal pies and treats. Nothing special. Not worth the hype. Pricey for its taste. Customer queue is ridiculous.
Wide range of pasalubong products. Crowd control is being implemented. Their products are delicious as well. Thank you
This is now my favorite pasalubong store. ️
Slightly price but worth it. Must try ung Ube-buko pie?
Egg Tart Rating: 5/10
- Taste is just ok
- little bit pricey compared to other best egg tart.
Long line and limited parking space.
Hindi naman ganun kasarap ang buko pie nila matigas ang buko tsaka ang pie crust walang lasa at mas mahal compared sa ibang buko pie store.
The best Buco Pie in the Philippines! Better than Colette's. Baked fresh and has a thick serving. Munch it while it's hot.
