This place has been my go to breakfast place ever since. Nice coffee and good food. Never disappoints. I also love their cheese bread as pasalubong:)

We enjoyed our lunch, the food was great. The roast beef sandwich wasn't dry or over cooked, with home made mustard to add a zing and pop flavor of the fresh veggies used. I think a must try meal. The carbonara was also packed with flavor and made just right. Cheesecake was also delicious, different from traditional blueberry cheesecakes found elsewhere. This is worth the visit when in the area. Servings are on the bigger side, one plate is likely good for two. My only suggestion is to add ceiling fans and or insulate the roof for outdoor dinning. I think our lunch would have been more enjoyable in the comforts of cooler and less broiling feeling temps when under the outdoor roof. It was lunch in late October when reviewing this and sunny. Other than that, the atmosphere and the decor/dinning areas were themed nicely. Another nice touch they added to the ambience and worth mentioning, was the fresh flowers at the tables. They could have used fake flowers but they did not, the little details make this experience that much more memorable.

Felt like a cherub while having breaky in the clouds. Filo breakfast cravings satisfied with my daing-silog and latte. Bag of Beans coffee was good that we had 3 takeaway bags. Got a great parking spot probably because we went to the café on a weekday, first thing in the morning. Staff were friendly.

First time dining here at their Charito branch. It is expensive but you get what you’ve paid for. Latte is excellent. Baby back ribs is excellent. The view is really good but the place is not kid friendly. May part na parang tinakpan lang yung papunta sa view deck. A bit dangerous for unattainable kids. Comfort rooms are clean and marami silang CR.
Fast service. Free parking and friendly staff.

It was gloomy and rainy so we couldn't see Taal. However, the ambiance was still great.

We ordered House Blend coffee, tea, Blueberry pancakes and slices of Carrot cake and Red Velvet.

Food was great! They provide pot for the tea so you can share it. The coffee we ordered were not piping hot though. I was looking forward to sipping hot coffee in cold weather. Instead, we hurriedly sipped our coffee as it had cooled down quickly.

First time here at hindi ako na disappoint. Pricey pro sulit yung food. Relaxing place at good ambiance. Mainit lang sya kasi siguro magtatanghali na din.

Sadly, may queue to be seated sa al fresco with view. But worth it if staying longer.

Very nice place wherein an old villa house turned into a restaurant to eat food of your choice with their prepared food in the menu list and have a cup of coffee or even a frappe of your choice in the menu while in the foggy background cliff siting Taal volcano and mountain view of Tagaytay.

Affordable meals. We order Baby Back ribs and Roast Beef. One serving is already good for two person.

The restaurant abides by the health protocols of the IATF. What I find great about Bag of Beans by Charito are 1) they are pet-friendly, 2) the al fresco dining experience is complete with the view of the Taal Lake, 3) food is no doubt delicious. In fact it's the first time we tried their grilled salmon, but loved it. On the otherhand, what I think is kind of a hassle is that restaurant staff are super busy, refills take a long time. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience. Would love to go back again.

Strict compliance on safety protocols, yet in a very courteous and respectful manner. Parking was convenient. Service was fast and flawless. Do hope they would open the veranda area.

The view on the terrace overlooking Taal is amazing. Can't say the same for the staff and the food. I'd rate the food 3/5. Thing is, the staff there will not even glance at you once they've taken your order. We waited 30 minutes for the bill to arrive. We asked for the bill 6 times. The 6th time only really worked because I stood up and went directly to the staff and asked. We were also asking for water during eating and we didn't receive any. One guy even saw us raising our hands and calling but he only looked at us and went to another table and gave them water.

If you're an instagram person or someone who really wants to post food pics, I suggest you go here only for the pictures. The ambiance is really bad.

Very disappointing! We went there because of good reviews and pictures but sadly it can't live up to it.

Upon arriving the reception was doing a good service since waiting list was long but they got 4 of us to enter after just waiting for 5 mins vs their 30 mins.estimate.

But their service went spiraling down from there.
Food was overpriced, cold, and bland.
Coffee drinks were also overpriced and tasted watered-down.
Food service was really slow.
Waiters were not alert to attend our needs even if there are many of them just standing near our table doing nothing.
Plus we wanted to change our tables since we saw a vacant one with a better view but was driven away because they said it was already occupied. Although we didn't see anyone around and it took a while to have people sitting there, very unaccommodating.

We'll never go back here nor recommend to others as well. It's a waste of time and money. Punta na lang kayo sa iba, there are a lot of better and more worth it restaurants in Tagaytay.

There's my picture before we tasted there bland overpriced food. No pics with the food kasi we were not happy when it got served. And we had to rush to leave for Batangas since the service was so slow.

Food is awesome. One of the best place in Tagaytay to get breakfast! Also there is a view of tge Taal volcano that you can enjoy while eating.

The place is well organized and thw view wonderful. Breakfast was good, with big servings. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

We went there for my Birthday Breakfast yesterday! The food is great. Sobrang sulit! And you can also see the view.

One of the best views of Taal lake can be found here. It has its own parking, away from the usual riot of Tagaytay. Doesn't feel crowsed at all. Food is great, service impeccable. Try the Shrimp Alfredo Pizza

Very good to dine and buy the raisin bread for pasalubong. Thanks to the parking attendant manning the parking.

If you ever get here for their infamous blueberry cheesecake, don't forget to order the frozen cheesecake instead of the baked one. I made a mistake of choosing the baked one first and ended up ordering them both. I always preferred baked cheesecakes over frozen ones but Bag of Beans changed that for me. Their frozen blueberry cheesecake was an absolute piece of heaven!
