Hillcreek Gardens Tagaytay reviews
60This mountain resort is very accessible via highway. Their Hillcreek Signature Coffee and Aligue Pasta is a must try.
Memorable experience at this place. It was the place where our family stayed for 2 nights before the wedding of my daughter at San Antonio de Padua, Nasugbu Btngas. What i love at Hillcreek Gardens is their buffet breakfast. I love it. The garden surrounding this hotel is superb places to communion with nature.
My family and I stayed here for a family wedding for 3 days and 2 nights. The staff were super friendly and very attentive! It’s a very nice resort with the staggered rooms on different spots of the resort. The reception hall decorated so wonderfully with lights and floral decor! That was the selling point.
The only negatives I have are the fact that this was not a kid-friendly environment. The dining hall only had 2 (two) high chairs and did not have kid friendly meals. The coffee was not the greatest. The food was either too sweet or too salty. It rained most of the time we were there and the stone walkway (which was very appealing) was so slippery when we walked (and we were in heels).
We wouldn’t mind staying here again but without kids.
I recently stayed at Hillcreek Gardens to attend a wedding, and the location is just so refreshing and serene. If you’re looking to get away from the city, this is it.
Location: It is about 10-15 minutes away by car to the busy Tagaytay areas like Taal Vista and Skyranch, and easily accessible thru the new Calax.
Ambiance: Hillcreek’s lush greenery is just heaven. The sprawling grounds will help you forget that right outside is a busy road. There’s a lot of trees and flowers and open spaces, and the air is fresh and cold. Bring a jacket just to be sure.
Rooms: I stayed in the Casitas area, which is where their older rooms are housed. The rooms are comfy, not big but not small either. Bathrooms are okay but a little on the older side, and a little narrow. Closets come with an ironing board (useful!). The extra bed was surprisingly comfy. The window looks out onto the terrace, but you will be seen from the outside since the path outside is right by the window.
Food: The Blue Room is where the breakfast buffet is served. Lovely dining area with indoor and outdoor seating. There’s a fair amount of choices for breakfast ranging from salad, to bread and jam, to the typical Filipino meal, among others. The most memorable part of breakfast has to be the taho display in the corner that serves real taho—warm and sweet! You can also order from their menu during lunch or dinner which is pretty convenient.
Service: The overall service of Hillcreek Gardens is exemplary. Wherever you go, you will be greeted by staff with a bright smile. Need something? No problem. Lost? No problem. Staff are really really easy to speak to.
Parking: Hillcreek Gardens comes with some parking slots, but may be challenging if multiple events or a wedding is happening since it’s limited. I didn’t count but you can probably fit about 20 vehicles, with some manoeuvring required.
Cons:
The plenty of open spaces means that when it rains/drizzles, you will get wet when moving from some buildings to the next. It happened to rain/drizzle quite a bit during our stay so getting back to our rooms when this happened was a little bothersome.
There are a lot of steps going to the various locations, so older people might find it difficult to get around. There are ramps and roads inside, but they’re not all linked together so certain areas are not as accessible by car or wheelchair.
Going up and down the steps when it’s wet/drizzling is also something to watch out for.
Overall, I feel like the few cons of the location are far outweighed by the beautiful location, good food and great staff service. Very nice place to have weddings and parties, and to attend them.
Rooms are cozy and clean. Buffet breakfast at the blue room was really good. Loved the maja blanca, fried rice, corned beef, danggit, and longganisa. All the staff very were helpful too.
Was considering booking an event here and we scheduled with their sales team about a month before the visit. The day we arrived at the venue, we were told the he wasn’t there to handle us. We were instead toured by the maintenance staff.
The place looks great but a big part of me feels that we may not be taken cared of if we hold our event there based on our experience with the person we were talking to. Can you imagine, we booked in advance because we aren’t even from Manila or Tagaytay and he ditched us.
Hill creek management should do something about this guy.
Room and location is nice for events but food that was served on our lunch was bad. Too oily and it feels like a “feeding program” Please see the third photo.
We been here last Oct 9 for my nephew wedding, the place is so cozy and relaxing, thou not that accessible for any convenient stores so you should have your own car, the room is so big what i really like here is the restaurant where they serving bfast, i can compare this to marriot vacation club in phuket but i compare the two Hillcreek is more nicer for me
My family and I were accommodated by very kind service employees as we celebrated a wedding feast that was well-prepared.
The place is alright, nothing too special. Their event hall is suitable for simple and intimate events. The design is quaint but it's not very spacious. You won't really feel you're in Tagaytay.
As a wedding venue it could be surreal. Indoor setting with good working AC was nice especially for a tropical country.
The place is instagramable. It is also relaxing to stay there. The food prepared by The Blue Room is also great. The staff are also efficient.
Very nice place. It's a hotel and events venue. Perfect for weddings.
The food was ok. The staff were really friendly.
It was quite and private. The rooms were good too.
Nice place pero kailangan mo pa kumuha ng water sa resturant wala silang water despenser sa malapit so punta kapa sa blue room nila
Staff was accommodating. Always willing to help. Lots of trees and plants. Relaxing nature filled atmosphere. But not all rooms/ facilities have ramp access for PWDs though. That's the only reason I couldn't give 5 star's.
Super nice and clean. Nature inspire hotel and events place. Food really good.very accommodating staff and crew. Perfect for weddings.
Lovely place, nice staff food is good but portions are crazy small. Come on chef you can do MUCH better than that
Very nice interior designs, nice ambience, peaceful, calming and refreshing place to get away from the hussle and buzzle of the city.
This is one of the amazing event place in Tagaytay. Very green by nature and amiable landscape. Very accessible to all events suppliers. Spacious caterers area. Also have pavillions and rooms for guests accomodations.
Great wedding venue and overall place to visit in Tagaytay. No crowds and open grounds. Good restaurant.
