Manuel Uy Beach

This Resort is "Ok " considering its cheap plus you can bring your pet "Pet Friendly Beach Resort" butttt. I don't like this dirty little creek under the small bridge waterway flows into the ocean that makes my skin itchy, also i see a Sea Snake near the shoreline

We enjoyed our stay in Manuel Uy. Very relaxing and will visit again soon. Should bring portable fan cause its kinda hot in the tent at night. Or better sleep outside the tent. Also need to bring powerbanks to avoid extra fee for charging cps etc

Awesome beach, calming scenery complete with many restrooms and showers. It's a low tide beach as usual and ice cubes were very expensive

The place is good, but the weather was not. Also commend to these Life Guards for keeping us safe, locals are also nice and we would love to be back again:)

Visited this place twice! I love how untouched the beach is. Restrooms are clean and the kids will definitely enjoy playing due to their shoreline that is so long

Maganda yung place sobrang relaxing at perfect yung view at linaw ng tubig.natalo nya yung mga pinuntahan kong beach resort before. Sayang may bagyo kaya di ko nakita yung totoong ganda ng manuel uy beach resort, kaya babalikan ko next time.i promise.

Subrang gabda ng place na to nakaka relax mawawla stress mo subrang tahimik ng beach at pang tent pitching lng tlga sya mawawala ka sa gulo ng city hehehe fresh air at malinis ang kanilang comfor rooms at mababait ng mga crew nila. Expect the place to be crowded during holiday or long weekend. Mejo malayo parking once crowded though pwede naman drop off muna yung gamit and find location.

Good place for beach camping. Nice view of sunset and sunrise.

CR: common for everyone so don't expect too much. Madami naman available, pero may pila lalo pag malapit na sa 12nn check-out time.

Bathrooms could be cleaner but they are reasonably clean. Lots of people camping but they enforce a quiet time at night starting at 10pm.

This is my favorite beach in Batangas.
Kid-friendly, clean and quiet beach good for a family who wants to chill.

Directions on going to Manuel Uy beach is easy, for a commuter like us from Manila.

First go to DLTB Terminal in Buendia fare is 295php.
There is a signage on the bus that is going to Calatagan and tell the driver to drop you off on DLTB Calatagan Terminal. Also, Calatagan Market is beside that terminal, you can buy fresh produce, or meat/seafoods. Prices are subjective. Buy your own mineral water.

On that terminal, you can ride a tricycle which can cost 250php, for 4 pax, for a special ride.
300-350php on holidays. (I can recommend a tricycle driver.)

For us, we just paid the entrance fee, environmental fee and we rented a tent. The tent we rented is good for 4pax. You can buy your own charcoal, for grilling in their grilling area. Strictly, they dont allow bonfires or using charcoal directly on the sand. You can bring your own samgyupsal or any portable cooking set. Ice is available on their store inside the beach.

Note: Please be a responsible citizen, there are a lot of garbage can/bag around the area please throw your trash responsibly.

2 times na akong nakapunta, i love it. Recommended kung weekdays kayo pupunta para konti tao. Gusto ko pa rin bumalik. Ang layo na ng nilakad mo sa dagat pero mababaw pa rin wahaha pero ok lang punta nalang ako sa dulo kung gusto ko malunod

Lumalayo yung beach sa umaga, sa tanghali na balik goods na goods sa babies kasi kahit anong lakad mo mababaw pa rin.

Manuel Uy Beach Resort is a nice go to place beach if you are in a budget and don't want to travel long for a good beach. The shore and camping area is clean, with a wide shore, the water level is so low which is ideal for your kids, non-swimmers and person of short stature. They also set water fence on the deep part of the beach and there are a lot of their personnel monitoring the sea area so you'll feel a lot safer in case something bad happens. The place is organized, from the entrance, the fast payment transaction, the parking area and they also have 2 large facilities for common restrooms and wash rooms, shower area and grilling stations. They also have many personnel assigned on different areas as guard but you may also seek assistance from them if you need help on something. They also have one store for your beach needs like alocholic drinks, junk foods, coffee, shampoo and soaps and it also has charging station for your gadgets. Overall, the experience with Manuel Uy is superb and will definitely come back if we could.

This is an ideal beach to visit if you're considering a weekender travel that is close to the metro. For a good price, you can access and enjoy the calming sea conveniently since you can just park right infront of the shore.

You can also bring your tent and place it wherever you want for only 250php the whole day, or rent there for 500php.

Plenty of functional toilet and shower. Grilling station is available especially for family and team building events.

Maintenance and all staffs there are very accomodating and responsive.
