Platefuly Tagaytay

Favorite place to get buko pies and chicken pies. (I didn’t like buko pies at first but this place changed my mind) Very flakey and buttery crust.

Would recommend placing orders in advance on weekends (many people try to walk in and purchase pies in bulk) 10/10 recommended to friends and family?

Wasn’t very impressed with the Buko pie I got. Unlike Cecilias where you get it hot and fresh, the one I got feels like its been out for some time. It also started tasting slightly off sooner than expected.

They have a wide selection of pies and other pasalubong which you can pick from. The staff is very accommodating and courteous and even let us try most of their pies (even the chicken and tuna pie) before making our purchase which really sold us on their products.

The pies themselves are really great, very scrumptious and flaky. The crust sets it apart from the other pies you buy along the area. This is a must try when you visit Tagaytay.

This is just me, everyone has its own preferred taste. So, here goes.
As far as buko filling is concerned, this pie has the most buko. However, the crust is too thick and very tasty. While it is ok that the crust is decadent, it somehow overpowers the taste of its buko filling. Call me old fashioned, but Orient buko pie is still the benchmark for me. But im impressed with their ube pie. Very delicious!

Since September 2021, Platefuly has become our most preferred buko pie in Tagaytay. Don't forget its mouthwatering buko-ube pie and the chicken pie is heavenly delicious. A good Christmas gifts to our friends. There is a new branch conveniently located along the Tagaytay-Sta. Rosa Road before reaching the CALAX for those returning to Manila.

Quite possibly Tagaytay's best kept secret. A Buko Pie unlike any other you've tasted before with its game changing crust and impeccable filling. Definitely a must try!
