Tagaytay Country Hotel reviews
23Nice rooms, but the things I'll complain about is their internet. Nowadays, people live with internet, which is something missing in this hotel. Missing? Even though there is, internet here is VERY SLOW. That's it for the internet topic, let's talk about the rooms. Please use not so strong perfumes or any cleaning liquid, I am allergic to those. Anyways, three stars ***!
Booked through Agoda and was told their was a glitch in the system and they didn’t have the rooms I purchased. So I began the process of getting my refund from agoda in the lobby then the front desk calls me back and tells me they have a room available. It was a bigger room then what I had purchased on agoda so that was cool of them. The security and concierge were very kind and helpful. The room was clean but the smell of cleaning products were very strong. Bathrooms definitely need renovation because their were signs of mold growth. If they renovated their rooms a bit more I would come again. Location is close to the heart of the city.
Thank you for being pet friendly!
There are new rooms located in the extension near the new pool of the hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious, and cool. I would have given them 5 stars but there was no cable TV yet and the hot shower in one of the rooms we stayed at was not working. Wifi was working though.
Staff was friendly and location is good—very near to convenient stores and the main street.
Do not stay at this hotel you if you plan to sleep. We could hear the staff and other noisy guests constantly laughing and chatting, the walls and doors must be made of paper. Imagine attempting to sleep in the middle of a circus. The next day was ruined thanks to the Tagaytay Country Hotel. (Now watch them attempt to explain themselves in response if they bother to read these reviews)
The entire room has ants and other insects other than that its ok but i think it needs more cleaning
Its a convenient lying inn stay whenever one will get thru Tagaytay, affordability and accessibility of this place is highly appreciated. And the staff with its crew, is jointly regarded with the most pleasant interaction in availing their services.
Parang old hotel na siya pero reliable location kasi ang lapit sa rotonda
Very friendly at accommodating ang staff pero napansin ko short staffed sila
Isang receptionist lang yata at a time
Lamig ng tubig sa pool sobra
Our newest fave place to stay in Tagaytay! Situated near Pink Sisters, Palace in the Sky, and rotonda. Malls, restaurants are walking distance. With swimming pool, and they're restaurant/cafe offers great foods in affordable price (as compared to the restos around. Not your typical modern hotel but you'll feel relaxed here as well.
This is a good place to stay in tagaytay, parking is available, and you can access anything just outside the hotel
Best aspects - clean, white, fresh smelling sheets, very cold aircon, flexibility with own food brought in, clean pool, easy checkin/out. May need improvement - hot shower, cable TV and Wifi connection, general cleanliness esp of carpets. Redeeming value - service crew who are friendly and accommodating.
The room is very old and outdated. Comfort/Shower room too small, the heater is only warm. We can also hear some rats (probably) running in the ceiling that wakes us up in the middle of the night.
Breakfast options are very few and tastes not so good.
The front desk/reception is unfriendly and seems unapproachable. Other staffs are nice and friendly.
We booked thru Agoda.
Clean and nice at malapit sa lahat, walking distance lang pati ayala mall.
Kaso yong room ko hindi abot ng wifi.
Which I did asked for, kaso wala. Tsk
Maganda Yung hotel️ malapit sa mga kainan at destinations tpos ang babait pa ng hotel staffs
Room is clean and smells nice. Staffs are accommodating and smiling. WiFi is not accessible in our room, maybe it is just in our room. Bulalo at their restaurant is awesome.
Perfect for me and family. Although pool is under maintainance as of this writing. Please call the hotel beforehand for updates if you wish to go:) love the tein bed room esp hot cold/shower
They are on soft opening when we checked in, improvements were done since our last check in, still love the place because of its accessibility, rooms were newly renovated and staffs are accomodating.
The place is ok for small group meetings with budget restraints. Its a little bit far from the hanging out place where you can see the taal volcano. Its near the new ayala mall though.
WORST PLACE. Pics in the booking app is misleading. It's not maintained. Breakfast is also misleading. Says buffet but is actually plated with only 3 to choose from. There's a soup pot only to find out its it's just hot chocolate.
Place is a bit old, but it is clean, the AC is really cold, which I lived, very helpful staff, and food in their restaurant is very reasonably priced and tastes great!
Went here for an event hosted by Rotaract District 3830 and was impressed!
This isn't a 5 star hotel but a quality and budget hotel for staying and hosting celebrations, meetings, team- building activities, weddings and etc. Banquet hall was gorgeous and food was okay. Pool was cold but what do you expect with me swimming at 11pm+ (pool was only opened that because of an event of ours)
Staff are very welcoming and always with a smile on their face.
Rooms have bunk, twin or queen sized beds with color themes of maily either cream, wood and coral-orange.
