Timberland Highlands Resort

Went here with a day tour voucher I got from work. The entrance and the way going there already feels relaxing so I was already looking forward to a great time. However, the concierge who received us seemed judgemental and overall confused. When we mentioned that we have a voucher, she didn't know what to do and we felt like she didn't want to or know how to honor it. I mentioned to her that I called beforehand and the agent told me it's okay to just walk in since we're just on a day tour, and she still looked for a reservation number. In the end she realized she didn't need it since she realized we were just there for a day tour (note that we made it very clear, not sure why she's so confused). She even reiterated that we have 300pesos credits at the cafe when it clearly says in the voucher we gave to her that we have 1000pesos credits. Good thing a senior told her that they will have to honor what's written on the gift certificate. It's bad experience to not feel welcome and have to explain yourself again and again to her. I believe she should be retrained.

With all the bad experience from that concierge we already felt quite disappointed. Upon knowing that the day tour only had access to the gym and pool, we decided to just eat at the cafe and go. Besides, it was 3pm and the atmosphere is very hot so we decided not to swim. The heat and sunlight is quite uncomfortable and hurts the eyes.

I booked it while I was abroad just browsing to find places where we could stay closer to home. Found this place and it did not disappoint. I love the ride coming up to Timberland Heights, and most specially the view when you get to the reception area, you are greeted with the most spectacular view of Metro Manila. Not to mention the staff are friendly and accommodating. My kids loved the infinity pool as well. We never get to explore much because my kids have to go to school the next morning. I felt that we need to come back here again and book for 2 nights. That for sure will give justice to it. The stunning view at sun down, the nighttime glimmering city and the friendly staff are worth the price to pay plus you don’t have to travel far to experience such a serene place. I just simply love the place.

Been here twice for quick family vacation. Staff are great. Rooms are good and clean. Great amenities for everyone and they even have a playroom for toddlers and kids. Food is awesome especially their buffet breakfast. Will surely be back again in the future.

THR has my stamp of approval. The place is ideal for family getaways or team buildings. Internet connection is also stable enough that we were able to have a good working staycation. Highly recommended

Stayed here during the course of a training. Overall rating is good from my experience. The room I stayed looks well maintained and clean. The housekeeping also cleans the rooms everyday. The food served is also delicious, especially during breakfast buffet.

The resort is located in an area providing an overlooking view of Metro Manila. However, some of the roads going to the resort are steep and lack street lighting at night.

So Very Nice and Peaceful place and affordable price fits to the budget on your pocket so what are you waiting for come and enjoy this very relaxing place to stay with.

We are expecting to have a quiet dinner with our family. But it turns out like a cheap ktv bar. The noise is unbearable.

Great place for a staycation near the metro. Awesome views and so many things to do. But what I love most is their buffet breakfast. So worth it

Friendly and accomodating staff, great view, located away from the metro, quiet and relaxing, great food, nice facilities (gym, indoor sports, pool, a place for kids, a bonfire), rooms are simple but clean and cozy.

The room is very nice! We like and enjoyed the cleanliness, comfort and above all the view from our balcony. The service is impecable and the staff are all corteous & very friendly. The facilities are wonderful & it’s a family holiday that we will never forget! Thank you and more power!

Rooms were clean, view is amazing, pools are clean, breakfast buffet was good enough, buildings need repainting. Will definitely comeback for the view and service.

The place itself has a great view. The sunset and the sunrise is spectacular. Even just the sky is picture perfect whether it's clear or cloudy. Love the ambiance at their pool/bar. The staff are friendly except that they don't seem coordinated. We had a misunderstanding with their resto which stemmed from different instructions over the phone coming from those who answered their landline. They ensured me that ala carte is available and that we can eat at the resto. When we arrived (9 adults+4 kids) around 2pm, they denied us at the resto stating that only buffet is available but not that hour since it's already cut off. They wanted us to either wait until 6: 30pm (or 5: 30pm?) for the buffet to start again or to eat at our room. Since only 2 kids+2 adults are staying overnight while the rest will just be eating supposedly at the resto, we only booked 1 room which is too small for all of us if we all eat there. It's not comfortable plus we didn't go here to eat in the room (and they have a different menu which the resto doesn't know of. They advised us to go to our room and find out the menu from there. Woot). It was really irritating and too much hassle. Though in the end we were able to settle this with the manager on duty but only after waiting like 30mins +. Aside from that mishap, our stay was pleasant with no more issues. So I'm giving them 5 stars still. All amenities are free if you stay overnight. The staff will great you every time you meet them on the hallways or anywhere else.

Got a chance to stay here, and find the place really nice and comfy. A great place to relax.

The service is quite good and the resort looks great. Just some of the odor from other sites reach the resort.

A great staycation resort i’ve ever seen. The rooms are affordable with complete facilities and amenities as Resort. You can experience a natural and ambiance with a city lights over looking view and many more. A full stars rating for me!

A great experience outside the metro. Rooms are clean. Staffs are good. Excellent service. Perfect spot to view the city lights of metro manila.

This place is awesome for a staycation. Rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms. They already have service waters as well as complimentary coffee and tea.

The dinner served when we stayed was Meditteranean and it was good. The breakfast was the usual Filipino style and a few leftovers from last night's dinner.

This would have been a perfect 5 for location if not for its very remote location.

Perfect hide away from the Metro. Just few minutes fr QC. LOVE the panoramic view, except that there was an occasional smell of foul odor.
