Balete Tree (Millenium Tree)

For our trip to Sabang Beach Baler, Aurora we decided to head to the famous Millenium Tree first. I must say that this is a good place to sit down and rest.

The entrance fee is 30pesos only and 10pesos for the car parking. Not bad!

You will have a chance to stare and even peak inside the tree.

Must see!

You had to pay environmental fee then when you are inside you will pay again for the entrance fee. Oldest Tree in Asia. You will just take picture here and amaze the beautiful tree.

Definitely the biggest balete I've seen, too bad the biggest branch was cut off (The tree couldn't support its weight anymore, according to one of the caretakers.). Good rest spot on the way to Baler though.

Great place, but they should limit visitors at the same time, and they should take care of the tree because there are already damages due to human intervention

Amazed sa hanging plants na nakakapit sa kanya ang haba na kung gaano kataas ang puno ng balete yon din ang haba nya.

Just an old tree to visit in baler, nothing to do much here aside from just seeing the tree itself

It is estimated to be about 600+ years old and 60 metres (200 ft) tall with its roots about 10 metres (33 ft) to 15 metres (49 ft) in diameter.

Beautiful place

Maganda talaga sya kaya noong pumunta ako naglalagas dahon nya may mga available na foods may entrance lang for maintenance narin siguro.

Visiting the 600 year old balete tree.its really a blessing from heaven. That the tree that been older than other is hers in our country.

This place is a very good place to go to whenever you are in Baler.

For a minimal entrance fee you will be able to enjoy the 600 year old tree and be able to take pictures in it.

I historical tree I guess. However, we will not know it's real story. It's spacious inside, I was allowed to climb the tree so I did. Best photo shot is upward. It's like you're transported to a diffrent place.

Just amazing how big and old this tree is!

A must visit and add to your itinerary when visiting Baler, Aurora. 2km away from the highway along Maria Aurora town.

This place could have been protected more appropriately than how it is being marketted to tourists.

Got there around 10am in the morning. There is a minimal entrance fee which you pay at the store. (P15/person + P10 parking) It is on the way to Baler coming from the south. The huge tree with intertwining roots and branches looks like something from Avatar. There is even a passage way underneath from one side to the other. Just a few minutes later more tourists arrived, becoming crowded and.you know how that goes

An old balete tree, seems mysterious but also feels like just another tree. Insides were quite scary or im just claustrophobic. Visit if you like trees. Has parking and entrance fees. Food is available in the vicinity.

A massive Balite Tree with a passage way at the center. You can do pasalubong shopping before going home. Best bukayo, baler suman, souvenir items, plants and other things.
They offer assistance if you need someone to take your photos for free (you can give a tip thou)

Addition to the Balete tree, visitors could also ride the Thomas train around the park for just 35php
