Cafe Lidia reviews
39 Service was good, fast and efficient even though ours was a big group.
Delicious food. Price was ok. Worth checking out when in the area.
I really enjoyed my visit here. Overall it's a 1000/10 for me. We went here for my sister's birthday celebration. The staffs are very good because even though we went here on a Sunday lunch they still manage to give us good service. Serving of food is fast also. The ambiance of the place is very nice and homey. The food is exquisite! We really love it. I ordered a coffee and beef Salpicao- worth every penny! I will definitely recommend this and definitely come back here.
Most of the food that we ordered were good as always.
Even though they already have plenty of parking space, napupuno yan duting peak hours and on weekends.
So I suggest to go here during off-peak hours and days for you to avoid the long wait if getting in.
But the food will be served immediately.like in less than 10 minutes
And maybe thats why the baby back ribs that we ordered was dry as you can see on the photos here. It's already ore-cooked plus maybe matagal na siya. Its not at par with what I imagined it to be.
Pizza was good but super thin.
But overall, 4 stars parin:)
No bike parking but staff is willing to park bike at the side. Food is affordable and filling.
Cafe Lidia is the epitome of family restaurant serving a wide array of simple and affordable comfort food perfect for the entire brood. Ambience somehow screams nostalgia even to first timers with no personal memories of the place. Service is also friendly and lightning quick.
Ample parking available at the empty lot across. Establishment only accepts cash.
Me and my colleagues had a good lunch here. The food and ambiance were great. They also have a parking area with a security guard who will help you.
Cafe Lydia. So far Ive tried the spinach Pizza and the Houseblend Pizza. Spinach pizza with cream cheese is so good. The resto liiks like an old house, fikipino spanish style. So surprisingly, their specialty includes Pasta, pastries, pizza. And of course coffee. Obviously people come here for the food, they already acquired a parking lot opposite the resto. They are popular in this area. A lot ig grab riders also seen waiting ourside indicates that they are quite kniwn in this locality. Will defintely go vack to try for more
Nice cozy place. At 3pm on a Thursday, the cafe was fully booked. Dessert and coffee was good. But there's no one who monitors the entrance for health protocols, only the guard who's also in charge of parking.
Ordered steak medium well (pink inside). Received well done tough steak. My wife ordered hers the same way and received nice tender juicy steak (pink inside).
First time to visit this place but ended up leaving due to rude behavior of the staff. There were 3 of us and they want my sister to sit on a different table instead of adding 1 table so we could eat together. The worst part was they dont know how to explain things with respect to their customers. There are a lot of restaurants who offer good food but good customer service is what separate certain restos from the rest.
Food remains excellent. Overall service was ok, except for 1 waiter (who forgot to get our bill despite requesting for it twice) and the security guard (who didnt keep track of the people waiting and who should go in first) definitely needed improvement, hence the 4 stars
I've been hearing about this place and passing by it many times in the past during my bike rides to San Mateo. But it's only in the 1st week of October 2019 that I was able to try it along with family. Being in a large group allowed us to order a variety, which is highly suggested when eating out at places you haven't tried before so you can order different types. I had baked salmon, my wife had salpicao, others ordered chicken, etc. They're all superbly flavorful. Staff are accommodating though since it was a Sunday and there were a lot of guests, they were also quite stretched. Tried their sans rival for dessert and it's one of the best in town!
Great food in the Marikina area. This is my family's go-to place for Italian food. Do reserve ahead of time as the place is always packed for lunches and dinners. I also love the photo/waiting areas with a swing set, wishing well with fountain and sitting area for the adults. Food is definitely amazing.
Food was great ️️️ Super love it! Kaya Lang. All the waiters acts as if they are blind. I mean we are cool with self service kung sinabi nalang Sana nila na self service sila.sorry with my nega comment about the waiters. Mahirap Lang kasi. Do we need to stand up just to call them?
The foods are delicious, it has decent serving size, and is was served on time. The place is huge, and easily accessible and the ambient is great.
There's a parking space but expect it to be full especially at rush hours.
Just along Calderon st, Cafe Lidia can be easily seen. I was here a bit before lunch time on a weekday, so there were plenty of parking spaces. I was able to park without difficulty; but I think during weekends it will be quite difficult to land a parking slot during lunch time & dinner.
Cafe Lidia gives off a rustic feel, with a few antique memorabilias & paintings adorning the interior. The staff were accommodating and attentive.
Food was good with adequate serving. Waiting time was acceptable. The house salad was ok; the greens were crisp so you know it's fresh, but not really a fan of sweet, tangy dressings. The porchetta was flavorful with the expected crisp of the skin; one of the good porchettas I've tried so far. The house special pizza was good. Food quality & quantity was worth the price.
Overall, it's a nice place with good food. If you're within the area, try dropping by. I'd definitely do.
This restaurant is so very nice and comfortable place and food is very delicious the staff approachable good service and friendly.
Staffs / waiters are not attentive.they dont provide assistance to the customer.there is no rapport.bad, very bad services.we came there as a group they just handed us the menu book and left after wards. BAD SERVICES.it will be our first and last visit at cafe lidia.never again!
Plenty of items in the menu make you want to come back and try the other dishes. I always come back for the chicken wings and the braised beef.
Great dining place. Reasonably-priced menu items. I really like the Pasta-ala-Lidia: simple, tasty and healthy!
While husband ordered the ribs. The spicy fish fillet for appetizer was a bit too sweet and hardly tasted as spicy as it should be.
Would've given u 5-stars, if not for the obvious bias and preference for the more-'sosyal' looking customers which I saw ur servers demonstrate last night. Just frustrating.
Thanks, anyway.
