Cafe Sweet Inspirations Katipunan reviews
67The food wasn't perfect, but delightful. The atmosphere wasn't perfect, but was hospitable. Regardless, they're both enough to keep you coming back to something akin to home.
Breakfast buffet used to have tapa, longganisa, bangus. Fewer options now. Would rather go to UP Hotel or Pancake House for the same costs.
I know most people are excited for the bacon and the tapa and whatever but for real i got excited cause there was fried eggplant and bagoong! It was sooooo good! #traveltalktea
The Caramel Cake was incredible perfect
But in my opinion the pistachios Cake is a bit much buttery. But the Caffe was also good so i recommend it ️
One of my wife favorite cake, we just dropby to purchase their Best cake.try to visit it's awesome
This might just be our fav restaurant as a family along Katipunan. Binabalik-balikan. I think its understated facade adds to the magic of entering and feeling the homey interior of the place. And the food never disappoints! Forda dessert lovers. They also offer buffet but we haven't tried it yet.
Breakfast buffet every weekends is delicious (taste not overpowering) but few choices. Buffet price is very reasonable. Good & recommendable place to eat.
One of my go-to places for Mongolian Barbeque. Sadly, the pandemic has changed the way this chain operates. What once was an all-you-can-eat buffet for Mongolian Barbeque, is now a checklist of measured ingredients and sauces. It diminishes the experience, but the food quality is the same.
The parking lot beside it is being renovated, so parking can be a problem here. Ambiance is as before - a low droning murmur of people talking while enjoying their food.
This is an old school place which is frequented by old school customers. Gladly, I am one of those.
Glad to know that it hasn't changed even with the pandemic. To comply with COVID-19 protocols, diners do not go to the buffet table for the signature Mongolian bowls anymore. They are given a sheet with choices of ingredients, which are then cooked and served. Diners are given two bowls. I am not sure if they can ask for more since one bowl was more than enough for me.
The OG for mongolian rice bowl! Its actually back after 2 years of no unlimited mongolian rice bowl. You can mix and match! Combos are endless! I also love their cakes and molo soup? Food is good! Comfy and warm place!
No more Mongolian Rice bowl buffet but they give you Ala Carte for 2 bowls. Still great tho.
Buffet is so delicious, got up to 3 bowls and wanting more but got to watch the weight
They have good selection of pastry and cakes too
Some staff are really courteous like Bet and Renren. Cakes were good. Mongolian buffet satisfying!
Not worth the price of 349 pesos. There is no Mongolian breakfast available. Ate there this AM, only choices are champorado, sopas soup, fried tuyo, scrambled egg, beef tapa, veggies salad and a few choices.
My favorite neighborhood restaurant one of the last of the original establishments on katipunan
Tried the Tiramisu and Pistachio cakes and they're not too sweet. Choose from a nice array of cakes and breads. Call ahead to get your cake orders ready for pick-up.
The café is quaintly decorated, accepts credit card and has adequate parking area at the back. Might try the Mongolian grill next time.
This just a stone's throw away from my place. I go here for tapsilog, karekare, breakfast buffet, puto bumbong and bibingka, and of course, coffee. Nice homey ambience I often chill here and read with my coffee. Love the Filipino breakfast buffet.
Quick to make my mongolian bowl. Ordered via grab and arranged for pick up. Follows health protocols. Has fave eclairs and cream puffs. Bring insulated bag if you order the above pastries. It will keep them at the best eating condition.
Mongolian "buffet" is still superb. You get to write down the ingredients from the list instead of making one by yourself.
