California Pizza Kitchen - Cpk

One of our go-to places when at Shangri-la. Food has always been good since I first tried CPK at Glorietta many years back. Service is great. The staff are courteous and quick to respond. They have a wide selection of food items, which is perhaps why we come back here from time to time. Though we almost always order jambalaya pasta.

Current location is along the mall bridgeway and quite small, subsequently less private. Servings are noticeably of smaller portions but remains as good as before.

Ordered the BBQ Chicken Thin Crust Pizza and Thai Crunch Salad. Both were absolutely amazing! Thank you: D

Another favorite place of mine! Love the pizza, pasta and salads - specially the Thai Crunch Salad. But most of all, I love Cris, my favorite food attendant, attentive to customer needs and good food recommendation.

Now I understood the rating of 3.9. Flavors of the meals are weak. Pasta is always al dente the only 5 stars we can give. However, the Jambalaya Pasta taste is extremely confusing. Negatively lacking in spice and flavors. My husband jokes about it tasting like Afritada rather than Jambalaya 3stars. I wish this restaurant gets a fast turn around on flavor of their meals. Unbalanced spices on the undercooked dough sweet pizza made it even worse 2stars. A good restaurant should only charge that much if they can execute techniques and deliver promising flavors. Sorry this is one my sad reviews, but I have to be honest. We were sad about the food that night. I hope this restaurant should see it as room for improvement.

The fish tacos were delicious, the Thai chicken crunch salad was fresh and was a meal in itself, and the salted caramel chocolate cake with the slivers of chocolate, top marks!

Quality of food is consistent and impeccable. Always a treat to go here. Service is good, although it's very slow. It was not full when we were there, yet the food took so long to come out. Upkeep is great. Decor and ambience is stimulating and homey.

Pizza was dry and uninteresting. Short on ingredients for the topping and I would not visit there again. Very disappointed.

This is a favorite and a go-to place for me and my husband. The ingredients are fresh and the staff are very polite and professional. We were saddened when they changed their menu and removed our favorite vegetarian meals (Foriana Pizza and Pasta Primavera) but were glad that we can still order them as off-menu items.

Pleased with the customer service given by the staff. They look very loaded though as there are a lot of customers coming in and out. Overall, masaya naman sa pag asikaso nila for big groups and magalang naman sila sa customers.

Located within Shangri-la Mall, this branch of CPK is highly accessible. Service is prompt and efficient. Ambiance was nice, though it was crowded last evening. Pricing is on the higher side.

A lot of pizza options on the menu, some with unique toppings. Tried 1 thin crust and 1 hand tossed and they were nice; wasn't blown away though. The pepperoni rustica was described to have neopolitan sauce, but was dry. Also had the mozerella sticks, that were wanton wrapped. It was good with the salsa dip, but by itself the oil smell was a tad strong.

There was a good deal of drinks on the menu. We ordered the bucket of beer and also tried the Mango Sangria, which was quite good, and had a pleasant flavor. It was nice to find a pizza place with good drinks offerings.

Wash area was very clean and fresh, but could do with brighter lighting. The pizza box based art work was a nice touch.

Really good food. Decent portions, the fried mozzarella is great, also the Milanese chicken also great. Good service also.

Before eating at CPK shangri la, my wife and i were looking forward to eat with our children because of the fond memories we had eating at CPK. But now it seems that their standard has dropped. Now i think that their food is not worth the price that they have (like the add on chicken meat that are few bits and pieces) and dissapointed that their fountain drinks are not refillable anymore (a staple in most American restaurant). Also dissapointed with their service. The servers usually camp with each other at the opening and talking to each other, not really alert and in their positions to serve the costumers. Now i know why their branches are getting fewer and their seats are usually not filled up and i hope this changes but as for me and my family we will not be returning to CPK Philippines for a long long time because there are better, similar and cheaper American restaurants here in Manila.

Food is great as always. Although the ambience is poor due to the acoustics are really bad, conversations from everywhere seems to be amplified by the whole place. Service is slow too, the waiters does not do zoning and no responsibility event if they saw me calling out. I have been told to wait twice due to them being busy.

An American franchise with small portions. Regular service nice interior. Don’t expect to much from the food!

I have to say, Filipinos are always so welcoming and friendly to foreigners. Although, in terms of service at restaurants— it’s always extremely slow and almost nonexistent. This CPK is certainly the exception! The staff is just the perfect amount of attentive and if you need something, just by glancing over, they immediately tend to you. I visited this location a couple times and both experiences were exceptional. Definitely recommend this place.

Decent service and food - exactly what you would expect from American franchise fare. It is the place to go when you don't want to face the risk of going to a place where there is up-and-down service depending who the staff are on a given day.

Fantastic experience.

The service was excellent, and the wait time for our drinks and meal was almost non-existent.

For our starters, I had the Four Cheeses Dip and my partner had the Loaded Potato soup. The cheese dip was an explosion of flavour, and the potato soup was very hearty. I chose to wash this down with a mango and watermelon shake, which was absolutely mind blowing.

For our main, we had the Sunny Side Up Pizza, which featured the best ham is ever eaten in
Pilipinas.

I finished off this lovely meal with the Lime Pie, that was a perfect ending to a wonderful experience.
