Fairmont Makati

Fairmont Hotel is one of the best hotels in Makati. It is very accessible, close to malls and dining. Rooms are great and spacious with a view of the city, though a little bit outdated. The breakfast buffet was superb as there are a lot of food choices and are very good tasting as well.

Luxury hotel in an amazing location near Landmark and Greenbelt mall area with tons of restaurants and nightlife. Facility has a great gym, pool, lobby and service and the breakfast buffet is worth it!

The rooms and service for the hotel is amazing and very responsive, although the parking situation leaves a lot to be desired. Very good place for staycations or the middle management businessman visiting Makati.

Delighted with my first stay at Fairmont! The welcoming ambiance and attentive staff made a lasting impression. Swift check-in, with special attention to my wife as I parked. As an Accorplus member, the process was seamless, and a delightful room upgrade awaited us, each featuring a relaxing bathtub. The breakfast was a highlight, truly superb amid the festive crowd. While we faced a hiccup with the key door, the management's thoughtful gesture of macaroons left us eagerly anticipating our next visit.

Contacted the venue to book a meeting room for 1 week. No response at all back, 2 weeks later get an email saying:

We regret to inform you, your event has been declined by Fairmont Makati, Philippines. This is due to the dates of the event already have passed.

Well, of course, since they took 2 weeks to respond.

Lovely hotel, if possible get the Fairmont Gold floors. The hotel staff were fairly efficient. Room was spacious and well appointed. Gold Lounge was cozy.

Centrally located across the street from Glorietta mall which is the best place to do your shopping.
Miss Christine the front office manager, is the best staff member of this hotel who is a great asset to Fairmont and any hotel's chain, always helps with beautiful smiles.

Located in metro Manila, my sister and I stayed here for one night, being close by the airport, it was great choice. Close by several shopping spots: the Landmark (my favorite), the Greenbelts (I think there's 6), the Glorietta by Ayala malls (4), which has Toys'R"US store (located Glorietta 1, level 2). It's definitely safe to walk around at night, plenty of security and police staff around.

Now for the hotel room was modern, a/c was on high, so it was almost too cold. But I think it was fixed when we came back because the temperature was nice.
The bed was comfortable, not too firm, not too soft, I was able to get a good night's sleep. However the comfort room door had a loud creek, when sliding open/closing. That's why I gave them a 4 star. I kept waking up my sister in middle of night.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding! I could get enough of the fresh fruit selection. Also something to be aware is that the front desk staff do wears mask and sometimes it can be difficult to understand what is being said. We also had requested the front desk to have them hail us a taxi which was a great convenience.

The hotel impressed me with its outstanding receptionist, pristine rooms, and delectable Indian cuisine. A special mention goes to Chef Rohit, who served us authentic and delicious Indian dishes that made us feel right at home in the Philippines. The Chole - Bhatura and Poha were simply divine, reminiscent of homemade dishes we enjoy in India.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Receptionist knowledge of hotel's facility and willingness to assist with any queries made us feel instantly comfortable and welcomed.

This hotel is serious in their sustainability project. From their toiletries down to their complementary glass bottled water. The room is very spacious and toilet and bath were with separate doors. Nestled in the midst, of Makati where Landmark, Glorietta and Greenbelt are within few minutes walk, the room is surprisingly quiet. Service was superb from airport transfer to check in and check out. They are very attentive to the needs of their guests. Aside from the daily room service, they likewise have a turndown service before bedtime that doesn't interrupt your stay. Clean, helpful and very professional environment.

In the makati glorietta area. Full access to malls (shopping, food, entertainment etc). Feela safe due to abundance of roving security and plenty of people.

Definitely a great place to stay when in Metro. It's very accessible to malls and restaurants as well as transportation.

We celebrated our daughter’s birthday at the Spectrum. We had a very pleasant and memorable night. More the very good quality of food, the service was very superb, par excellence. Kudos to the hard working staff like Judy Ann, Lauren and Rose. Thank you for making her birthday a very happy one.

Went here for a staycation and also because we needed to use our membership. Loved that the room had a high ceiling. Their gym was fully equipped and they had water and free fruits in the gym. They also had a remote for the lights in the center console. Also very walkable towards Glorietta and Greenbelt.

Only attended an event in their event halls / rooms but the place was very nice. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating.

The real 5 Star service! Jovina Penaverde was a superstar with her service at Spectrum restaurant and the irony of it is that she is just an intern but was doing an excellent job in taking care of the guests! I hope Fairmont hires her as an employee and does not lose this gem of a worker!

AJ Espiritu at the front desk provided excellent service. He assisted us from the moment we arrived till the checkout. He was patient and very attentive to the requests. We were ignored by another employee at the front desk but AJ's kindness made up for the lack of attention from the other employee who is actually a senior employee. I got talking with AJ and he tells me that he started at Fairmont almost a month ago and in my opinion, he is doing a phenomenal job already. Here's a shout out to a great employee at Fairmont. Keep up the excellent service AJ!

Rooms are good and location is excellent. Breakfast spread is superb. Staff is friendly - all during my stay.

I am writing here with hope to get the hotel's attention on my credit card authorisation hold. I've called them 3 times but still unable to help me. First 2 times, they promised to follow up with an email but disappointingly I received nothing. 3rd time, no one picked up the call at the front desk.

When I checked in, an amount was held on my credit card. I checked out on 4th May and the amount is still pending on my credit card. Which means, "eat-up" my credit limit space on my credit card. Today is 21st May. It's a really long hold. What's keeping this long? 3 weeks? 4 weeks?

Modesssa Louie, Precious and Chelsea are very nice, well trained staffs I highly recommended for guests they will accommodate every visitors hospitably. Rooms are wide, very spacious, classy place.

I like hotels where they are already ahead on the sustainability path. And ofcourse the iconic Long Bar - the staff was brilliant and we enjoyed our drinks there so much we went there again in a span of 4 days.
