Filling Station Bar And Cafe reviews
63Had burger and Carbonara. Both good, carbonara with cream but it was good. Food is good and the atmosphere is great.
If you stay in Makati area of Manila, then the filling station is a must! It's not a restaurant, it's an institution! You eat and you feel travelling back in time. Food is great and service is fast and efficient. It's open all the time and thus, you can go for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner. Prepare yourself for a plethora of photos.
Atmosphere is great. And it is a nice clean place, which we weren't sure about when we saw the seedy neighborhood where it is located. Service is pretty bad, though. We asked if we could change our waffles to pancakes. The server said "I'll ask, but if not, do you want the waffles? " The biggest mistake we made was to say yes, because then of course he brought waffles without any comment, so we know he did not even bother to ask about it. The breakfast menu is overly complicated. Why not just let customers choose the foods they want? And the biggest thing missing from the American menu is Biscuits and Gravy (the most "American" breakfast of all time). Still, despite its shortcomings, this is still an interesting place to visit.
Great Atmosphere and service, food did not live up to expectation (Pizza) but would still go back:)
Got drugged by wait staff so they could double my bill! Really liked the place before that! Unbelievable!
I really want to experience this restaurant while I'm in the philippines. I went up here on a Friday night, and there was a long line outside, and the security guard said there was a waiting list. I waited and waited took 2 hours before the security guard said it was still full. You see, I love going to this kind of restaurant, and I have been all around the world checking and trying different places. But if you come here to this place, try to go when it's not busy, more likely on a weekday. I'll try again when I get there to manila this year.
The best thing about this store is that it is open 24 hours a day and offers a wide variety of meals.
You can come here for breakfast, lunch, dinner or midnight snack!
This place is a must see. I like this restaurant because they are always consistent and open 24/7. The food and service is great! Atmosphere is a must see, I don't want to spoil it, just come see it!
Masarap! I will visit again. There are a lot of foreigners outside. It was my first time - July 11,2023 #latepost
Must go in Poblacion! Food worth the price and their desert are the best in my opinion. Service can be slow since it's always full, but most staff were nice. I've been there few times already.
Enormous obese-sized portions. Finally, some decent ******* food. Delicious Food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot. Service could be better though. Was waiting over an hour at one point as they forgot to serve us. Gave us the wrong eggs we asked for and the staff seemed pretty miserable to be there, etc.
Perfect American joint for food et al. Love the decor and vibe. Loved the milk shakes. I just ordered them for the pulp fiction vibes
Friday's level price range, Endless nachos, good pizza and pasta choices, nice ambiance to hangout with friends, instagramable place but they restrict DLSR cameras
Great ambience and good food. Went with a few friends to grab a beer and stayed till late. Music was good. It is like a rock n roll diner from the 50’s.
Everything is great. I had a blast! Although the prices are a bit too high, I almost didn't mind since there is no service charge, and because of the ambiance.
The place is well displayed of vintage ornaments, crew are friendly crowd is soso on the time i visited. Good frozen margarita with strong kick the most i love
Narezzer the waitress (hope I got her name right) has excellent customer service. She's always smiling and speaks good English too. I wasn't expecting the food to arrive on time considering how very busy the place is, but I was surprised that my food was delivered in just under 7 minutes after ordering. The deco is lovely too!
Its not everyday you get to enter a restaurant that will take you back in time. Retro interiors and yummy ice cream! Was just not impressed with the yema cake, like it was leftover from yesterday. Took awhile for the order to arrive and came back with unavailable cakes. Had no choice but to choose yema cake which was disappointing.
When you're up for American 50's, 60's vibe, this is the place to be. Food is reasonably priced since they have big servings.
Service was bad.could not get any attention to order food or even get water.even though eye contact made with the waiter twice.just got completely ignored.as I was leaving I told the manager.who asked me then to Please stay and to order anything I wanted and he would take care of it.after eating I got up to leave and was presented with the bill! Manager then said I misunderstood and he meant he would "take care of me" as in service.ok.maybe it was a misunderstanding but c'mon. In the end he gave me a 15% discount.food was good, decor very fun, great but very loud music.
