Giligan's Restaurant - Festival Mall reviews
14I really love eating in this branch. Great service and very accommodating they are also always smiling which gives other person good vibes. The food is also great i highly recommend their sisig.
The food and service was okay. Hopefully they would practice to be more hospitable. What I dont like about the place is the smell. Everytime we go here there is funny smell that always greets us.
Wide food choices, they even have value meals for less than a hundred. The calamares was so juicy. Crispy pata could have been crispier. Chicken teriyaki was delicious. Although tissue roll was available, the restroom was generally dirty especially the toilet bowl. Service was fairly good. Live entertainment was good. The table arrangement was too cramped, must be the reason why it gets too noisy with all the chatter. The chairs need maintenance.
Visited on a weekday, so not much people in it which is a good thing. Staff are attentive most of the time, and prices are generally fair. Good for a quick drink, or a night out chatting with friends over beer
Wait a bit long for the food. (If it's being prepare fresh not an issue.) Food is good, very crowded during peak times, which seems like most times. Could use more seating. Price fairly good. (Some customers leave a mess, which can take staff a bit to clean, resulting in longer wait for available seats. Stop being messy unthoughtful pigs)
Atmosphere is ok. It wasn't crowded when we went there. But please Giligan's, yung pest con niyo gawin niyong regular.
A branch in Festival Mall of the restaurant chain. A great place to grab some satisfying food and refreshing drinks. This branch has a live band on most nights, with the usual exception being Sunday night.
The food is good and there is a very wide array to choose from. Some would even say too wide, as it can be daunting to browse the thick menu, unless you're the sort who's very firm about what you like. But the effort is simplified by the well organized classifications — meat, seafood, veggies, drinks, etc. Fare is mainly Filipino-Western standards.
Service is friendly and efficient, but expect it to suffer somewhat at peak hours, as is usual in any restaurant. I wrote this during a late Saturday night visit with the place less than half full, and our orders arrived in less than 10 min. I would consider the pricing moderate. I was with just one friend tonight, and our bill was a shade over 700 pesos.
Note to foreign readers: 700 PHP is approx. 14 USD as of this writing.
Bad service, placed order for 2 meals, after 15 minutes I was informed my meal was not available from the kitchen, my girlfriends meal arrived, she finished her meal before my meal arrived.
We had arranged to meet a friend, she left the restaurant and I ate alone.
I complained, yes they were apologised, will they fix this problem?
Food was average, never go back!
The only bar open on the 1st of January 2019! ;) Some branches may have bands playing for the night. Songs can be requested. This place is also home for the crunchiest pork sisig amongst all bars in manila because of their additive which are pork innard cracklings which makes the sisig soooooo good with beer or with rice. NEVER order the fish sticks. Not only is it a rip-off but the poor use of white dory fish with a super thick breading makes the supposed appetizer taste like a baguette than a nice partner with cold beer. Save yourself from the trouble ;) apart from this one, everythingelese is average bar chow.
Nice food but the attendants are not that attentive to their customers. Sana they could assign staff per area so that all the guest are quickly notice.
Sarap food.pero mas.masarap sisig sa giligans sm-tunasan.bakit ganun? Magkaiba quqlity ng foods?
This place is kinda resto bar. The foods are great but the service is just ok. Nothing much empressive.
I place where you can relax and have fun while drinking your favorite beer or wine plus pulutan. Watch out the live band at 8pm
Crunchy sisig is the age-old favorite, as well as the very cheap beer promos. Talented live band. The restroom could use an upgrade.
