Green Sun - The Hotel

Sad to say this hotel is not a good one in terms of room cleanliness, food services, bathroom cleanliness and even the view of some rooms could be really bad. The building is under huge renovation works currently but still the areas do not worth the price.

In a 3 days stay there was not even ones a single cleaning of the room. Breakfast is limited to a small room converted into dinning room with a small pot of hot water, a couple of soluble coffe packs, white rice and boiled fish, sweet sauce pork and fried sunny eggs. Only bottled water is provided for drinking.

The bed is excellent. So warm and comfortable. My room had a problem where the aircond could not be switched off. Luckily the bed duvet was thick and nice. I also manage to switch off the aircond at the DB Box. Breakfast was acceptable, still 5 stars all the way.

Budget rooms might have no windows, as well as the breakfast room, keep that in mind. But it's fine for what it is.

The stay is smooth and no security deposit needed. Very affordable for quick stay before fights and events. Highly recommended

If you like to feel the warmth and coziness of a home, this is the place to be- whether hanging out with friends for lunch, having a few drinks in the bar or simply checking in their suites. I highly recommend it. Pls check it out.

Its a mid-range hotel with small rooms bit what I like in this place is there event hall. We had our year end party in their event hall and it was so good.

As a business center to make meeting or rent the 300+ person room. That's okay. If you plan on getting a small room beware of the smell. I visited one of the sleeping room, those things smell like heavy duty industrial disinfectant are without windows and the beds are on the small side. Enough said.

It smells bad trough the whole place, rooms are noisy, bathroom too small, had to bring my own luggage to the room that we had to find on our own. Room has an empty fridge, no minibar. Tv stations are very limited, the bed is covered with a fleece blanked, no top sheet? This hotel is missing sphere, its a boring industrial looking place. I will not stay here anymore, and i cant reccommend it too anyone. Price is to high for what is offered. The one star that i gave is for the lady at the desk, she was acommodating.

We checked out the hotel for an ocular visit, did not check in or booked the room. But first impression as to the rooms, it is just so-so. We checked a twin bed room, king bed room and family room. The family room is 42 sqm, with 1 king bed and a twin bed and you can request for an additional bed. The rooms are clean, the ceilings are low. The space is not too tight, you can move around and it even has a table on the side for the twin bed and king bed rooms. There is a TV and a bedside table with lamp. There is also a small cabinet and a dresser. The comfort room is clean. It is just a bit small. This is the same for all room types. I liked the family room the best. It is very spacious and even has a dining table and receiving area (sala set) set up. The carpet om the hallways are smelly, seems to not have dried from washing. The smell does not seep into the room, though, so just at the hallway areas. They have no pool. They do have a restaurant downstairs so you won't have to go out. They also have about 80 parking spaces, outside and at the basement. I hope this helps for anyone wanting to book this hotel.

Nice place but parking area is a littke bit priblem because the area is limited parking space for their guest

Location is not so great but about 10mins walk from a mall. But if you're looking for night life, its pretty quiet here.
The hotel has its own bar.not so lively but good if you just want a quiet drink. The hotel building used to be a car showroom in an industrial area but now converted for hospitality.so the areas around are changing gradually.

Don’t ever stay here. Booked a room just to leave our bags at for the day. The place is NASTY! The whole place smells and is very dirty. I wouldn’t sleep here if someone paid me.

Been to events there. Venue is fine. Parking is a hassle. Park further away and don't make driver go to the lobby when events end. You get grid-locked on the small street to the Dasma gate.

I loved the room! For budget, 2 traveling person, it's more than enough for me. Locations are also good. It's more near to NAIA

Horrible smell!
This hotel is actually the Green sun hotel, the twin room I booked was horrible, no windows, smelled like a sewer, big humidity problem, the carpet is damp, seems dirty although they do their best to hide the smell with tons of chemical sprays. This place is totally overrated! Overall they made me pay another night for the early check in at 8h30. I highly not recommended it!

Good experience. But I hope they change the carpets because it really stinks. Must improve also the shower heads too.

Booked for three nights. The receptionist was nice. The room was okay tho it has thin walls. The bed was great and comfortable. Some of the channels of the television like Nat Geo and Discovery Channel are not working. I mean, no permission to view the channel. The comfort room has bidet. And the bathroom is small tho it didn't bother me that much. The wifi connection is fast. The food in their restaurant, Soma Bistro, is great. And, the hallways just give me the "The Shining" kind of vibe. But my stay at the hotel was great overall.

Great sound system. The left and right walls project what was happening in the stage so you'll not miss anything!

My only problem is they have thin walls, so you can hear noises from the other room. The bathroom is pretty small. For Europeans and Americans that might be a problem. But all in all, the hotel is clean and good for overnight/short stays.
