Really good food.

We ordered the Shiitake Pizza and the Chicharron Teriyaki (Nori). Hands down, both were really up to its name.

The shiitake pizza had a harmony of taste between its dough (which is like a croissant layers), cheese, basaltic vinegar, and mushroom. While for the chicharron teriyakii, it has like a thinly sliced marinated pork, best wrapped in seaweed and cream cheese. Both dishes goes well with their in house hot sauce.

Overall, place is good. Really fancy as well. Might need to reserve since they are usually fully booked as the staff mentioned. Luckily I was there on a weekday which we were able to walk in.

Lastly, price would average 500 per dish because of service charge as well.

I liked the kimchi gyoza, lasagna and cream puff buco (?). I probably would've loved the arancini if I didn't eat before coming here.

Food was really good. We ordered the teriyaki chicharon, shiitaki goat pizza, 4 herb salad, arroz con pollo, blackout bowl, gravlax and schmear along with the white rose chocolate mousse and ube babka. There were only 3 of us but we polished everything off which is a good indicator of the quality of food.

We were able to get seated at once on a Saturday night, albeit in the new bakery side of half saints. Furniture here was not comfortable. Dinnerware should be improved.

The food however was good and creative. We got the shiitake puff pizza, arroz pollo and chicharon with nori. Interesting flavors. Could use more ingredients for the price for the puff pizza. The pollo rice was great. It's chicken was a bit dry and lacking flavor.

May get real busy at times.
Street parking available across the resto.

This is a cafe / restaurant / bakery. They bake their own cakes, breads and pastries and do a very good job at it though they are a bit on the expensive side but they do make sure that their products are all top quality. Their food is also very good and the menu was curated very well. They have a small selection of hot and cold coffee drinks but they're also done very well. Lastly they do make the effort with presenting the food and drink which helps with the experience. I recommend the brioche loaf but it needs to be pre-ordered. I love the kalamansi slushie

Highly recommend these dishes:

The Chicharon appetizer

Blackout bowl
Gallo pinto bowl
Grass fed beef chimichuri with polenta

The three tart desert (dark chocolate, calamansi, queso de bola)
Their version of turon

Service is fantastic. The only thing I'd recommend is for half saints to upgrade their acoustics. Since they get quite busy and the tables are quite close to each other, it's hard to hear the people in your own table and you could hear every conversation in the room, even the farthest table from you.

From a European perspective.
I was rather disappointed with the restaurant. I would describe it as an Instagram place. Everything looks great, but the food is lackluster.
We had the fruit cake and ube cake. The fruit cake tasted like artifical strawberry flavoring, very chemical. The ube cake was literally just sugar, there was no taste to it. For 600 pesos I expect an amazing cake with complex flavors.
Overall I really cannot recommend the place. They charge European prices for below average quality.
You're better off going to a pares next door.

We ordered:

Goat cheese puff pizza 3/5
Blackout Bowl 4/5
Gallo Pinto 4/5
Kimchi Gyoza 4/5
Tres Leches 5
Signature Iced Tea 2/5

The Goat cheese pizza was too rich, maybe add a little acidic flavor to balance it out? This was our least favorite and we didnt get to finish it.

The Blackout bowl was okay, I was impressed that they got the black rice to be soft and chewy. But it lacked flavor.

Gallo Pinto was delicious and not too overpowering. The presentation was nice too.

Kimchi gyoza was nothing special, it tasted like just another gyoza.

The tres leches was so good. It had a hint of cinnamon that wasn’t too overpowering. The cream balanced the flavor of the milk.

The iced tea was too sweet for me.

The chicharon teriyaki is their best seller. It was good but I found the bagnet hard to chew.

Overall, the food was great but not spectacular. The servers were attentive and polite. I reserved a table thru their instagram account and they responded within a reasonable amount of time. The tables were too close to each other so you could hear the conversation on the other table. I would probably come back for the desserts and maybe try their coffee next time.

The pizza is superb for me. I love how the bread is like to a croissant. Then the chicharon teriyaki as there starter is super yummy.

おいしいプエルトリコライスとチキンがあり、とてもおいしかったです。

Place is small so make sure to make a resevation.

Don’t order the Four-Herb Salad and Blackout Bowl (nothing special, waste of money)

Had a pleasant dinner here. I find their menu items unique and unfamiliar which I totally love. Great for an intimate dining experience. Great service, too. A bit pricey, but their food looks good and you’ll definitely experience unusual flavors here.

Friendly reception.
Relaxed ambience.
Fast, friendly and attentive staff.
Great choice.
Honest and tasty food.
Best if you try all while leaving room for dessert.
Their Merci Buko and Crema de Frutta would be reason enough for a visit!

Must return!

We ordered takeout from Half Saints. Food arrived at the appointed time.

We ordered pink earth salad (the addition of snowpeas was unique and pleasantly works), 2 kinds of puff pizza - ratatouille, and goat cheese and shitake; great balls of fire - this one is spicy; chicharron teriyaki - loved the crunchiness of this dish; pasta pomodoro (the only dish that was not unique).

Overall, we mostly found unique and delightful flavors in every dish. The food we tasted makes us want to dine in and try more. The Phyllo crust of the pizza was also unusual for me. Sometimes, the "un" added to the "usual" brings pleasant surprises. This dining experience was one of those.

The best sellers are best sellers for a reason.

The puffed pizza was really good, and the cake that we had was very unique.

I will come back here again.

Setting expectations, the menu price don't include the VAT.

We dined in on a Thursday afternoon and had a mixed experience.

The drinks were okay for the price (iced mocha and nutty mocha were a 6 while the calamansi and mint slush was more of a 7) but they deserve props for the amazing Arroz Con Pollo that I will definitely come back for several times. I'm a big fan of paella-like dishes and I absolutely love the flavor and the spices in this dish.

The service was disappointing. One male server in particular was standoffish and cold even though it wasn't a particularly busy day. Hope it was just an off day for him but it definitely soured our first dine-in experience at Half-Saints.

Always a great experience at this place.:) A QC hidden gem indeed.
I always come back for their Chicharon Terriyaki and Pizzas. Hope they could release new dishes once in a while that could top these crowd favorites on my list. Eat at non-peak hours or get a reservation at least 3 days in advance.

Coming from the South, this place is conveniently accessible via Skyway. Took me 40mins to get there. Ordered the scallops - which was surprisingly a refreshing dish. It was resting on cold quinoa (I assume that's how it was supposed to be served). Loved the scallops. They were sooo tender and literally melts in your mouth! Didn't get to take a photo of the menu. But my bill was around 1,560 pesos - 2 coffees, 1 scallop dish + shared pizza. Total bill was around 4-5k if i remember correctly - for 3 pax. Place gets busy around noon, good thing we got there a bit early. Coffee was ok, too. But i'd choose Arabica/Angkan Iced Mocha coffee over theirs.service was a bit slow tho - probably because of the amount of customers they have to serve. It was 90% full. Overall experience was

Not the best for groups of 5; I made a reservation for 5 people at least a week prior to eating here but was given a table that was right next to the door when there were better seats. Food was amazing (both entrees and drinks) but given that they have a huge clientele database, you need to book a reservation to be assured of a seat.

It looked more cafe-like than a bistro/casual dining resto, with prices of a bistro.

The place is also not the most accessible restaurant with good food in the area so better to travel via car.
