HEALTHMAX MEDICAL AND DIAGNOSTIC CENTER (IHADS 2004) reviews
4Very accommodating service. Every staff are approachable and well-mannered. I won’t definitely hesitate to go back for my next check up.
The female staff, probably in her 50's who was wearing a doctor's lab gown and stethoscope (I wasn't sure if she was indeed a doctor because she was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. She was very talkative and kept murmuring the entire time. She even asked me IRRELEVANT QUESTIONS), was very UNPROFESSIONAL. There is a big difference between asking a patient for his detailed medical history and detailed employment history! I would certainly have understood if she was asking me relevant questions but she was so INSISTENT on knowing my previous companies and my position which is totally IRRELEVANT and UNPROFESSIONAL! If you claim to be a doctor, you should know that! The radiologist was ALSO rude. He was not happy to do his job. He wasn't friendly at all. The only saving grace of this clinic was the male assistant who was wearing a blue uniform. I DEFINITELY would NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC! Please GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! UNPROFESSIONAL!
This is in the list my agency gave me to have my medical exam done. I chose this particular clinic because my friend said the people here are nice. First things first: there is a pandemic going on so I suggest everyone to be mindful of social distancing, wearing a face mask and read the signs. There's a very big sign on the door that says, "DO NOT TOUCH THE DOOR. " Some people barge right in and demand to be served right away. Wait for your turn and get in line like all the other people outside who are seated a few meters apart. Bring your own pen!
Wait outside-if they are not busy entertaining customers who arrived earlier than you then someone will come out and give you a health declaration form and ask what services do you want to avail. They have a menu of services with prices and will quote you the total price. The price is really reasonable, I had all bunch of tests done: PPD, CBC, Chest X-Ray, Vision Test, Color test, Drug test, and fecalysis. The total was just around P1,700+.
They are open Mon-Fri 9am to 3pm. I think this has been their schedule since the pandemic started. I suggest you go there at exactly 9am-they open on time. If you need PPD done, you have to check your schedule. PPD reading is done 48-72 hours (depends on the facility asking for it, they said) so make sure they are open the day the reading is going to be done; the doctor who will sign medical certificates arrive at 10am; x-ray results will come out after a few hours. If you need a medical certificate/fit to work, they might ask for a chest x-ray.
In my experience the people who assisted me were very courteous and professional. The place was clean and the air-conditioner was running at full blast.
For those searching for this place and would still see their address in Taft Ave in front of PGH, I was told by their staff that that location has been closed.
