Hi-Top Supermart reviews
42Some items are cheaper compared to other groceries. The store has dim lighting and the isles are too narrow compared to others. Shop here during off peak hours.
Variety is ok. Price wise is ok. Card terminal for payments, you need to go to the customer service for processing. Always check out the expiration dates as some items are near expiry.
Good selection usually but a lot of the things in my list are unavailable today. Not as accessible anymore from where I live.
Has almost everything you want, but the place is old, and one time the frozen meat we bought went bad after a few days. Although the prices are low, you can never be too sure about the quality of your goods.
If you want cheap priced groceries, you'll like it here.
"With low prices comes low quality. "
Just make sure that you double check the products you are buying from damages. (Such as punctured and dented packaging).
They also have a sale isle where you will see great finds! A chance for you to try new products at almost half the price. Just make sure you eat it right away. So if you're a smart buyer, you might want to do your groceries here.
Nothing changed after 5+ years except that everyone's wearing mask and shield. They're still using the rotating entrance gate, promo items located on your right upon entering, running cockroach on your basket and cheapest price. There are few open counters and lots of talkative baggers staying on the closed counters but it's fine as they work fast.
Big discount is being offered for goods about to expire. But the cashier is still doing manual computation of their products
In my opinion, has the best prices in comparison to other supermarkets. Though, it can get a little bit crowded at times and they close earlier than the others (6pm).
If you are looking for a cheaper (2 to 3 pesos) grocery item Hi-Top is the place to shop, though parking is limited but free!
People are in holiday rush! Love going to hitop because there’s a wide variety, prices are lower compared to most grocery stores and there’s always a promo. Parking could be tricky especially if you go on peak hours.
Whatever you need, you will probably find here. A truly gem in the city but the place can use a little upgrade. The cashiers are still manual and the lighting and overall shopping experience has much to improve on.
Very busy supermarket. Be early to get parking. Good stocks of all kinds of groceries. Good zircon.
I like this grocery because everything is available here despite beinf small. In my opinon it is better than other super markets.
Cheaper groceries but the cashiers manually input prices and reciept shows only general name (e.g. Grocery, breverage, etc) and cannot track if they input the actual price.
We find here household implements and international food products that are not normally in big supermarkets. Convenient parking and courteous service, too.
Items are individually tagged (price tag), which makes it easy for the customer to check the price. Though an "old school" and time-consuming (for the staff) means of tagging items, I, as a consumer, still prefer this over having to look for the item price on the shelf. The shelves are hardly ever empty, as the supermarket personnel are always around to refill the stocks as needed.
If you want cheap groceries and a wide selection you must go here. The building looks old but I guarantee they always have good things up for sale.
Mura ang mga bilihin maliban lang minsan sa mga gulay at fruits. Tas may mga sale din sila including imported products kaya sulit.
No frills supermarket that offers a great selection. The fresh produce is also worth the trip as they'll last longer in your pantry. Meat and poultry selection is good, seafood left much to be desired. They carry some stuff that you'd only usually find in Chinese supermarkets so that's also helpful.
Products are cheaper than supermarkets and we often find ourselves scavenging goodies in the discounted section of the grocery. The grocery is a bit cramped and we had an experience where the cheese that we’re about to buy has molds on it. We only experienced it once so we might have been just unlucky that day. It’s a nice grocery but not for the “maarte. ”:)
