High Grounds Café reviews
55The place and food is good! They have fast connection and for every 150php, you get 2hrs worth of free wifi.
Serving breakfast is very very disappointing. We waited for more than 30 mins just to know they didn't place our orders, to think there were only 2 tables dine-in that time. So insensitive staffs, they even didn't check their kitchen for pending orders because we're justing waiting there.
DON'T SERVE BREAKFAST IF YOU CAN'T DO IT.
4 of us wanted to play beside each other but the 1st flr's full and only have 2 vacant battlestations. We told the employee that we wanted to play on thr 2nd floor but hell yea he "nicely" told us that the battlestations on the 2nd flrs are for group. We're 4 I said and he said to just wait for 2 more on the first floor. The place is great we just did not like how we were treated.
The place is spacious, with plenty of tables to accommodate guests. There were already many guests but there are still seats for us six. Populated but not cramped, nor noisy. You can still do a meeting in there. It's not just a cafe, its a coffee shop that is also a restaurant that is also an internet shop. We were quite amused that our server did a mental note of our 7 item order, betting if he can really deliver. But it was a bad idea. An order was missed out. They delivered immediately when followed up.
The place is open 24/7, but the menus available will depend on what time you are there. For the breakfast menu, it's available from 6am till 11am. The lunch or dinner menu is available 11am onwards. Parking is not a problem. Besides the store front parking and street parking, they have their own parking lot. Got there 8am for breakfast. The guard let me park right in front of the store because I had a senior citizen with me.
No complaints with the food, taste wise. But there will be some hits and misses. I ordered the continental breakfast, sausage, bacon and ham with pancakes and if you look at my photo, you will notice something missing. I told the wait staff and they were apologetic and had the kitchen cough out the missing ham. Another problem was the stack of pancakes because the second one was undercooked, as in it looked like there was custard filling in it. Again, I called the wait staff's attention and they took it back to the kitchen to be cooked further. The other food we ordered were great though. The garlic rice was tasty and not oily. The beef was tender and flavorful. I would've even praised the ginormous pancakes had it been cooked thoroughly.
The wait staff were very accommodating, friendly and attentive. The place was spacious and clean, but I would've preferred sitting on a normal dining table instead of the sofa and coffee table. They were big and comfy but it kinda squished my tummy which prevented me from wolfing down my food.
Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back and trying more items from the menu and I suspect I will.
Good place for hanging out with friends and family and even a place for gaming or studying. It's for all ages.
The place is nice and cozy. They also have Predator PCs for gaming. They also hold occassional gaming tournaments here. I recommend eating the catfish salad and their French onion soup. It's delicious! Just might be a bit pricy. Food's around 300-500 pesos average.
We were looking for a coffee ship and stumbled upon this place. While looking at the menu, we saw that they're also serving alcoholic drinks and we ended up drunk.
Really dope spot with a large PC Cafe attached to it. Service is quick and easy and at ₱60 an hour you can't really go wrong. Desserts and coffee drinks are good and they also have a full bar.
I like this place because of how nice it looks and how delicious the foods are. It's a place where non smokers and smokers can compromise. We love their chicken parmigiana, Liguine al pesto, high grounds carbonara, magueritta pizza, wings platter, iced americano, house blend iced tea. It is definitely a place for your pasta, coffee and liquor cravings. There's also a gaming hub for those that are into it.
Reviewing for the food. A little on the expensive side but its quality and some of their dishes are actually worth trying (fried chicken, jerk chicken, salmon and etc.). Just dont buy their drinks. Its too sweet
Place is very nice and spacious. A place for gamers as they have several stations dedicated for network games. Food is mixed bag. Some are good. Some are ok. You don't go there for food but for games. I don't like the smell of smoke, though.
It's a good place to hang out with friends or have a meeting with your team. There are a lot of tables for small group meetings. But the WiFi signal strength was not so reliable when you go further inside the venue.
Excellent coffee.food is good but a bit on the pricey side when compared to neighboring establishments.
It's 24 hours open with an internet cafe setup in one area courtesy of TNC and Nvidia. The food is awesome! I really love their main dishes. The desserts and drinks are also good. My personal favorites are the four cheese mac n cheese, pistachio sansrival, and matcha tea latte.
