Ilustrado Restaurant - Head Office reviews
71This superb Filipino-cuisine restaurant has maintained its high standard for decades. The ambience and food I experienced yesterday is the same as what I got in the 1990s. Bravo!
Food is great! Lalo na Yung slices of cake! Love their cheesecake. The ambience I can say na very historical since malapit Siya sa intramuros. Employees are very welcoming. The overall place feels home.
Came here on my own and was hoping to have the famous paella, however it is a big portion (according to the waiter, for 2 ppl) and the wait was around 35 minutes.
Decided to have grilled calamari salad with a side of pork & tofu bakwa't and both dishes didn't disappoint!
The salad dressing was tangy and citrusy, and the pork & tofu so crispy!
We had our wedding here back in 2021. It was a memorable life event and Ilustrado made it possible and very special. We have been patrons of Ilustrado from our first date, first year anniversary, my now-husband proposed here, to now celebrating our 2nd anniversary and bringing our first born here. We celebrate life at Ilustrado, always. Food and ambiance definitely what made Ilustrado stay for several years, but what makes it special are the people who make it. The staff, waiters, and even the kumbacheros were so pleasant and warm. Special thanks to Ica for the most efficient coordinating and organizing. We had the smoothest wedding because of Ica and the entire Ilustrado family More years to Ilustrado! We are looking forward to celebrating different milestones here.
The food and place was great it was calming and solemn. The staffs are also nice and accommodating.
Very good ambiance, Service was good and the staff are very approachable, the taste of their food is good, I would highly recommend this restauran for anyone looking for nice and good and quiet space.
They exceeded my expectations with its exceptional dining experience! The elegant and sophisticated ambiance, coupled with impeccable service, created a delightful atmosphere. The menu showcased a fusion of Filipino and international flavors, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience in Manila.
I was blown away by the creativity of the dishes at this restaurant. The sinigang risotto and hallo hallo was a standout, you should try it
We were warmly welcomed and shown to a window table in the restaurant which combines old world charm with modern styling.
It was our first time visiting and, although it's fairly small, we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is just dazzling. The food was authentic, fresh, and really delicious, not to mention the pretty and elegant presentation of the dishes. Staff made our visit very enjoyable with professional manner and a sense of humor. Will definitely be back!
Im really Impressed with the Ambiance of the place. Quiet, relaxing, lush, and makes you think you’re away from the City!
Come and travel back in time to the spanish look as you dine or have lunch in this place!
And the food! Oh, exceptional, but the desserts is a so-so. Not that great. Too caky and too much frozen Icing. But the Mango shake I had? ! Oohhhh so fresh! The Seafood Pasta? Is to dieeee for! Its really good and fresh. I suggest make it more Spicy next time. It says Chili, but nothing in there. Hahaha
Only a couple of vegetarian dishes available, but gorgeous plaza and delicious eggplant dish.
Food was a bit pricey, but the quality was good. Location is good too, being able to eat inside the walls. Would recommend the paella <3
Rudest customer service ever. Had to walk out because of the waiter, and reported him to the manager. Will not visit nor recommend to anyone.
No service water, but there's 10% service charge. Waiter was friendlier towards foreigners but not Filipinos, such racial discrimination from your own race.
Ambiance and overall feel of the place brings you back to the spanish era ️ Service was good and staff were nice, serving size could be improved but the food was good. Parking entrance is a bit hard to find but has a lot of parking spaces. Its inside intramuros so if you are touring inside intramuros you could definitely stop by here for Lunch.
This is a hidden gem. One of the best restaurants in Metro Manila. Amazing vibes, garden, staff, and menu. Bravo! A little pricey but worth it! The paella is approved by Spanish standards!
Entrance a bit bottled neck. Need to take stairs to first level. A bit dark. There are old pantings at the wall. The tables are nicely decorated. Buffet styles. Spanish theme dinner. The appetiser is a bit bitter. Spaghetti, seafood, chicken, curry lamb are nice. The fruits and dessert are also nice. Asked ice cubes twice before served.
So many great things to talk about here. I had the coconut water which was fresh with peice of coconut shavings.try the seafood paella.the stewed goat meat with oxtail.garlic scallops.conch salad with bacon.steak and the national flower ice-cream was probably meant favorite.bit tasted like downing a bottle of your favorite perfume.u must try the Mango flan to die for.this restaurant sits in a 50 year old church site which as such character from the tiled floors to the beams etc all in all very good food ND excellent atmosphere
Went to have a quick lunch, tired from exploring the walled city, but boy we ended up staying for more than an hour, lol.
The ambiance was very nice, and the food were really good as expected. Staffs were also courteous and attentive. Would definitely go back again.
