Best ramen I've ever tasted. A bit on the pricey side but worth it. Their tantanmen was special.

Always loved having our ramen fix here. I recommend trying their Tsukemen, Super Chashu Ramen and Gyoza.

Worth the long wait but could have been better if i was allowed to take out the extra soup/sauce which was left over. I didn't want for it to go to waste so i tried consuming it without the noodles, but it was just too salty if eaten alone.

My favorite ramen joint in Metro Manila.

They now have al fresco dining. But the tables are quite close to each other.

Amazing shoyu, super rich and tasty. I feel that my tastebuds are dancing with every sip of the broth. Noodles are outstanding as well.

MENDOKORO IN 2021

-Same kind of service is very good and organized.
- Still the best gyoza! (Havent been back since 2019)
-They open the door for ventilation and NO AIRCON. It can get hot.
-Acrylic barriers
-water glasses have cling wrapped like in the hospital.
-outdoor seating
-Temp checks
-You still need to line up.

The ramen lives up to the hype. Mejo maliit lang talaga yung place (maybe to replicate ramen restosnin japan? Idk) which makes it hard to be accomodated. Pero worth it!

If you want to visit this restaurant, better come solo to be seated asap. In my case, I went there with my 6 friends and waited for 1hr and 15mins.

The place is just small and a lil bit hot. Maybe 15 people can accomodate inside or 20? And there are extra chairs outside.

Ramen was great, the soup at first was so good but getting overwhelming and salty in the mid part (I didn’t finish the soup because it was getting too salty for me).

Noodles were like spaghetti pasta noodles but thicker (not like noodles in Nagi etc.) — i still like it.

By the way I ordered super cashu. If you wanna try it, better not. LOL! The meat was so huge and you’ll get full and the saltiness of the soup will mix to the cashu, I ended up pressing the cashu with my chop sticks so the soup will come out of the cashu.

For the gyoza, better order the 5 pcs because it was so good and meaty!

Super Cashu costs ₱610
Gyoza for 3 pcs costs ₱140
Gyoza for 5 pcs costs ₱240? (Not so sure)

Waiters were nice and accomodating

I love the ramen. I love how they cook the food in front of the customers. Also, health protocols are strictly followed.

I miss going to Mendokoro branch in Salcedo Village, Makati City. The space is limited for hungry office staff diners especially during lunchtime (pre-covid) way back in 2019 but hope the store is still surviving now during the Covid pandemic because of restrictions on restaurants.

The broth was very rich and the pork for both Super Chashu and Buta Kakuni are thick and flavorful. Both are tender and tasty, the fat melts in your mouth. The noodles for Buta Kakuni were thicker. We've ordered the 5-piece gyoza but since there's two of us dinning in and there were separators in between chairs, they were proactive enough to split them 3: 2. We left the restaurant with our tummies full and our pallets satisfied.

My favorite Mendokoro outlet because of their branch special (not available in other branches) - the Buta Kakuni.

If you do not like spicy food - you won't like this because it is basically chili-flavored ramen. The broth is ultra-rich, spicy, yes, but not one that burns endlessly. There is a shock factor at first taste but your tongue will acclimatize soon enough that you'd be enjoying this flavorful dish while sweating a bucket.

The bean sprouts are fantastic (how can bean sprouts ever be fantastic?) - their bland flavor and crunchy texture complements well with the spicy, ultra-rich broth. The meat that accompanies is itself richly flavorful but in a different way (burnt, tender, and fatty) and i would dare say is the star of the show.

So, Mendokoro + Buta Kakuni = an experience you would want to have again and again!

We went here around 4: 30-ish pm and got a seat immediately.staffs are accomodating and they are following protocols.i guess they have less than 10 seats available inside.for the ramen, so far in my own opinion this will be my #1 choice of ramen.will definitely go back (ノヮ) ノ*: ・゚

This ramen shop is amazing! From the food to the service, there's nothing that I can complain about. I ordered one of their off-the-menu items, the Super Chashu and it did not disappoint. The meat was thich yet exceptionally tender and flavourful. Their gyoza was amazing too!

You only have two things to worry about if you do decide to go here:

1. Expect a looong line. So you're gonna have to come early or bring snacks with you while you're waiting. If the line is long, you know you're getting your money's worth.
2. Since we're still in the middle of a pandemic, contacts with the servers are being limited as well. So order what you want right off the bat because there's a service charge for every additional order.

Quite pricey but worth the price indeed. I just don't like the queue but overall, a nice experience to eat premium ramen and you can also see the staff prepare the ramen in front of you.

Food taste is good. Has unique selling point. But your services is so far from ordinary expectation.
Visited your branch in Salcedo last Tuesday during off-peak time, 11 AM.
I would say, from your security guard, greeter and even cashier, need a lots more of training and guidance. Very bad quality of services.
Only staff who are in center, able to sooth our dissapointement.
There was no basic sincerely service attitude such as "please". "thanks". Hard to imagine the service you will deliver during peak-time.
Not sure if this is done purposely, but definitely will be such a waste for you food quality, by leaving a bad impression.

The food is exceptionally amazing. No doubt. In fact, they may have served me the best bowl of ramen in Manila. However, the lines get really long and average waiting time is around 30-45minutes (still worth it). They might want to improve on the queueing area since it gets really warm outside while waiting.

Back here again after more than a year due to the pandemic. Ordered the Seafood Ramen, so so good with that creamy and salty seafood broth. Not quite as filling as I have remembered last time that I've ordered but anyway maybe because it was for late lunch. Gyoza is alright nothing special though, but you don't eat here for the gyozas so there's that.

I usually go to MR on off-peak hours before 11: 30 am and after 1: 30 pm on weekdays. Place should be practically empty.

Food is great but customer service is bad. Staff should be more courteous. Stressing out or having a bad day is still not an excuse esp if you're in the service industry.

A good ramen place with a mid-high price range (450-600) for its food. Would like abit more garnish on some of it's menu (Egg/Chashu lacking). Recommended Shoyu, Tantanmen, and Super Chashu.

The queue will get u more hungry but u can ask the front clerk if how many hours will it take until ur turn and then do something else.
