Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub reviews
53So, my thoughts on the Microtel by Wyndham in Quezon City. When we first arrived at the hotel, our first impression was that the hotel was clean. We arrived around 12 noon local time, and although our check-in was not until 2 p.m, they advised us our room was available. We did notice that they seemed to be understaffed even though this was prime holiday season. There was no bell hop available, and we ended up taking our bags to the room on our own. When it came to the room itself, it was clean neat and seemed to have most of what we needed. There was no iron in the room. However, they had a community iron and board in the hallway, which we could use. They had an odd policy on breakfast. Our room did not come with complimentary breakfast. However, if we ordered each day in advance, we could get a discount of 500 p per person. If not, it was 650p. It seemed a bit odd forcing us to commit to eating breakfast at the hotel and not allowing for flexibility. They did not have onside laundry services, but they did work with a local laundromat who would pick up your laundry at a cost of 350p per kg. The breakfast was a bit hit or miss. Most Days the eggs were cold, and the food was not on par with the price. However, the dinner was a different story. We ate there one evening and loved the meal. All in all, for the price, it's a good option. Just don't expect 4 star accommodations or service.
We had a really great stay at Microtel UP Technohub. It’s perfectly situated within UP Technohub where restaurants, coffee shops, and convenient stores are located. UP is very close and only 10-15mins walk so it’s the perfect hotel if you’ll have events in UP.
I loved that our room has two (2) full-sized queen beds so it was very comfortable. Additionally, it’s cool that we can get unlimited ice cubes from a 24/7 ice-making machine so enjoying drinks in-room was a great experience.
Facilities wise, WiFi coverage inside the room needs to be improved, devices kept being disconnected due to poor range. Our AC unit in Room 402 was a bit noisy and tends to get hot during the afternoon.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Staff were all corteous and warm. Room service was fast and excellent!
Spacious rooms, but faucet in shower room fell out. Food is superb, and conference facilities are very good. Staff service, however, is excellent! Definitely worth another visit, whether personal or business!
It's a very nice place here, it's relaxing and peaceful and you can spend as much time as you want.
Their drinking water really tastes like tap water/chlorine. Instant turn-off. Overall customer service is slow and lacks warmth. They dont smile, it feels like they don't receive a satisfactory salary that's why they act like that. Third, the food is expensive and portion is small. I mean, the price doesn't match the quality of the food. Your beef is like a bubblegum. Don't you have a pressure cooker? And your dining knife is also not sharp Your dining area have FLIES. My God. Reception area is unairconditioned.
Service crew wont give you proper attention if you don't look or dress important/expensive enough.
Came here last year and I did not regret it. The room smells so good and the ambience is so amazing. Cant wait to bring my family and friends here. Kuddos to the staff for their warm greetings!
Nice place to stay, safe and clean rooms, friendly and hospitable staff. Highly recommended for me.
We had a conference in UP and this is the nearest hotel with rooms that offers accessibility.
The FO officer, Ryan, was quick to respond to email and very attentive to my questions during the phone call. My requests were given.
The check-in at night was swift.
I'd recommend this hotel if you are in Diliman area:) i will definitely stay here again.
I love this place, staffs very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed staying 3 night there.
Budget friendly and relatively new hotel. We dined at Millie's cafe for our anniversary. The tomato soup is especially good.
Cons: Lobby hot, doors wide open, not sure if air conditioner was on. Strict with 2pm check in. Booked room for 2pax expecting 2 queen beds but was given 1 queen bed and 2 single beds pushed together (we showed IDs so front desk knows only 2 people are staying). Called the front desk 3 times before someone from housekeeping (he was efficient and polite) converted the single beds into a queen (bound the beds, locked the base, added layers etc). Bathroom door had no lock. Old fixtures. Sink leaking. Air con unit was noisy. Remote of sky cable hard to use (pls check battery). We were stressed out with the bed issue that we didn't complain about the bathroom and aircon anymore.
Pros: Water dispenser available outside the room where you can get hot/cold water. Buffet breakfast was good, restaurant staff nice.
Tye airconditioners in the Lobby were not working. It was uncomfortable for th3 guests and the staff were suffering.
I went to a seminar, and used the oblation function room.
Ok as function rooms go.
Quiet, peaceful and close to nature place to stay in the heart of Quezon City. Very near to restaurants and has a wide area to go for walking or jogging and most of all it is within the gated area of the Ayala technohub so it’s relatively safe more than any place:)
For the rooms is nice and clean but no complemintaries (coffee and tea). However, there is drinking station for each floor to fill-up into a clean water jug.
For the foods lunch and dinner, it is high end menus and the servings are not enough. And foe the buffet breakfast which is only minimal choices of foods. Not so special.
Love the food, the employees are young and attractive.very attentive.the place is just okay.the pool are needs improvement and makeover.
No hot/cold shower where we are at. TV doesn't have a lot of channels (no netflix). Wifi connection is very slow. No refund if you want to cancel your reservation. The front desk staff named Ryan needs a refresher on customer service.
Decent rate for a very nice hotel in Quezon City. Breakfast is already included, clean rooms and helpful staff. Also 500m away from Technohub for more food options, convenience stores.
Microtel hotel is following the DOH prescribed health & safety standards. It has room service so I found it useful when I woke up late for breakfast. There's also a restaurant (Millie's) that offers variety of western and Filipino dishes.
May pinik up lng ako dun
pero sa nakikita ko ay ok naman malinis naman ang cr nila.at dinadayo ng mga taga ibang bayan
