Milky Way Cafe reviews
21Amazing Filipino food since 1946. No wonder they lasted this long. Would recommend the place including their desserts
This place is like a trip down memory lane with its delicious comfort food and ice cream desserts as well as their halo-halo. Mind you, this place isn't cheap but everything they make is always done very well. From the way their staff is trained to their food presentation as well as the quality, it's always thumbs up good. Most of the time, I just come here for halo-halo or ginumis
This place is definitely has the best and good quality food. Gonna visit this place again.
The cafe is perfect for catch up with friends and family. Food is authentic Filipino and the overall customer service is a plus! Worth the price for food and ambiance.
The food is superb, reasonable price and the cafe is very nice, perfect place if you want to hang out in Makati…
We had our batch meeting for AC'83 Proud to be Ruby. As always great to see and meet wonderful classmates and friends again after 40yrs. We love the food. The sandwiches are the best. Tokwa Baboy was great too and the Baked Macaroni was superb. Halo halo delicious
Fantastic filipino dining experience at this 61 year old classic! Loved the food and service.world class stuff!
We just had a snack in Milky Way Cafe. We ordered coffee, clubhouse and halo halo. The Halo halo is delicious. You should try it

Not a good place for holding events. May fee na 300 pesos for charging laptop. Ang taray pa nung isang crew.
Best halo halo! When you visit their arnaiz Makati branch, the building takes you back to the 80s.
Had merienda cena with the hubby here because he was craving for halo-halo. Funny thing was, he wanted to eat kare-kare, then I ordered fried chicken and Thai spring rolls. By the time we finished our food, there's no more room for dessert!
Two thumbs up for the kare-kare and fried chicken. So good! I love the thick kare-kare sauce and it has more meat than veggies. Fried chicken was quite good also.
As for the Thai spring roll, it's a bit on the salty side. Hope that they can adjust the taste in the future.
Staff are attentive.
Good food, but protion is too small and price is too high. Php900 for a crispy tadyang, Php595 for a karinderia size serving of bistek tagalog.a 5 star hotel pricing with lesser serving portion.
Their goods:
-Many choices
-Serveres are friendly and very attentive
-Nostalgia feel of the place
-Cozy place feels like home

My friend and I ordered Kilawing puso ng saging, Bbq pork spareribs, and Adobong pusit for our lunch yesterday. Busog talaga sa sarap. Definitely will come back and try their other dishes.
The place is cozy and not crowded. Maybe we came too early (11am).
Thank you to the dining staff for the nice service. Special mention to waiter Jeffrey who's accommodating and friendly. Magaling pa magpatawa.
This is Filipino comfort food at it’s finest.
Come for the halo-halo, leave with the feeling that everything is right in the world.
Went for lunch today and ordered lechon kawali, which is priced at over 2000 pesos. I was expecting delicious cuts of crispy pork.instead we got the end of the belly.with very little meat, no fat and not so crispy skin. We complained to the server only to get a sorry.apparently there were no more good cuts left and that's what their cooks decided to give us.we would have been better off going to hawker chan.shame they have the nerve to charge and serve such bad food, the manager and server had no balls to take this off our bill. As for the Halo Halo, its just average and nothing special. I actually prefer Via Mare which is almost identical in style. I wouldn't come again or recommend, there is plenty of better options in the metro.
Only one word to describe this place is inconsistent. Be prepared to pay a high price for a little portion. Went with my family for lunch and ordered a selection: lechon kawali, laing, lumpia ubod, Thai spring rolls and steak au poivre. The lechon that was served was stingy and the leftover ends of the belly. Not worth the P2250 (£34-35) for just bones with little meat. We complained to our waitress and an apology was given. But we were still charged. The Thai spring rolls were salty and mostly filled with vermicelli noodles. Left dissapointed and annoyed.
Attended an event in one of their function rooms, so far, the facilities are clean and the food is delicious. Aside from the functions rooms, they have dining areas to have meals. You should just be a little early as the parking space is fill up fast due to the other restaurants in the building.
A fevourite of ours for many years now, serving delicious Filipino dishes, ice cream and some of the best Halo-Halo around.
Always a great choice for classic Filipino food with excellent service. Best halo halo in town.
Your meal will be extra special because of the great service which is equal to none. Specially if you are served by Jason.
