Panco Cafe reviews
26This simple and minimalistic place is located in a quiet street with really good comfort food. The sisig Palabok had thin noodles and you can also ask for it to be extra spicy. The food was warm and it was cooked fresh. The Ube Pinipig drink was simple yet so satisfying. It tasted good even after all the ice had melted. The service was prompt and the staff were friendly. It’s really a go-to cafe in the middle of the hustle and bustle center of Makati.
Cozy ambience. I could tell most of the furniture and decor are from IKEA lol. They have a bundle meal which is pictured below. The food is okay. The coffee is actually good, a must try for sure. They also have this drink called "KalMa" which means kalamansi+matcha and ya'll have to try it lol.
Most of the customers there are working so if you want a place to work in, here is the perfect cafe for that. Overall, will come back here!
The black out cake was good. It’s a fudgy and dense cake that’s not too sweet. Service was just ok. The reason why I probably won’t go back is because of the place. It feels like a cafeteria. You can hear everyone’s conversations so you have to talk loud to hear the people in your own table. If you’re alone and want a place to study or work, don’t go here unless you have noise cancelling headphones. If you want to hang out with friends or family, go somewhere else unless you’re willing to shout throughout your meal. I tried to give Panco a 2nd chance, this is my 2nd visit after a few months. Oh well. The decor of the place is nice though.
I like the espresso with orange juice, drity mocha. But not sure about the black forest holiday drink its a bit watered down
Kalma - 4/5 matcha w calamansi, refreshing
pandesal - 3/5 big pandesal with butter and jam
theres lots of tables and chairs both for small and big groups.i think theyre a little understaffed tho, i went on a weekday night but service was quite slow.
Pretty good coffee. It was a bit crowded though so don't go here if you want a quiet coffee shop.
Their coffee though is pretty good. So I would recommend it for that.
I tried the charred longganisa and it's delicious! Their iced long black coffee is aldo good. Definitely a good place
This is the new “it” cafe along C. Palanca street, right across Coffee Academics. The drinks selection is small but the combinations are okay and refreshing.
Great food options in both Asian and Western styles with some interesting drinks to match. Coffee was excellent, well balanced and properly brewed. Inside however was super noisy, acoustics were pretty horrible as all the sound seemed to just echo inside making it worse.
Cappuccino taste meh, coffee taste is lacking. 170 pesos.
But their ice tiramisu latte is nice.
Will be back to try their food.
Quality in every offering - the food tastes amazing in a perfect serving size and the flexibility to go Melbourne (in bread) or Manila (with rice) style; the price is reasonable; the coffee, particularly their flat white, gives such a relaxing earthiness in the palate that just pairs flawlessly with the food and the alfresco ambiance raised above street level giving their customers the much-needed respite, having the perfect angle to appreciate the trees, decade old buildings, the mindfulness of people walking by - the quaint characteristic of this part of Makati.
The place has low ceiling so expect that when the place is full and people enjoying their conversation it will be loud.
Servers are really nice and service is really good
Great service by Orven. Looked for ways for him to serve us hot-sauce even if they do not offer hot-sauce. Thank you Orven you did great
Had a quick stop for a coffee. Drinks were just okay, and it was reasonably priced (cheaper than other cafes nearby)
The coffee (we ordered a white, tiramisu latte, and black) was delicious. I also got the matcha kalamansi and the earthy flavor went so well with the tart fruit.
We got the brisket in both the Melbourne (sandwich form) and Filipino (rice meal) form and my brothers loved their order. I also ate the Vego Sandwich and the pandesal is so light and buttery.
I loved the specious interiors and the attentive staff were so nice to us. They kept refilling the water, even before we asked for it.
If you’re here for coffee, there are better options around Legazpi. Sayang coffee ng Market Lane
Not a fan of beef but wanted to try something new here so I got the Breakfast Brisket and it did not disappoint! Super love the flavor and it's cooked just right too. Serving portion is also generous.
For my drink, I got Kalma (kalamansi matcha) and it was surprisingly good as well! Even non-matcha lovers would probably like this. Also love that they provide a carafe of service water without me even asking for it.
Servers are attentive and respectful. Artwork on display are well curated. Tables are well-spaced, place doesn't get too cramped even on busy hours.
Overall, excellent service and ambience! Definitely 5-star! Will surely keep coming back here!
Panco Cafe was recommended to me by a friend. I ordered ube cake (good for sharing) and their matcha-calamansi drink. The former’s cream tasted a bit off (as if it has an ingredient that shouldn’t be there), while the green drink’s refreshing; it was my first time trying such a new flavor combo.
I also tried the longganisa dish (Melbourne style) and latte. Tasted fine. And the serving’s huge!
The place doesn’t look as fancy as other cafes, but it’s still a hit among the Gen Zs. They also have a couple of tables outside.
Aside from food, they sell shirts, mugs, and other merchandise items.
Panco Cafe accepts card, cash, and GCash payments.
Great food. Justified for the price. Breakfast is simply delicious. Staff is very friendly and attentive. This is a great place to relax and chill in a quiet street in makati. Worth the morning visit to start your day
Their breakfast brisket and chicken inasal was so good! Meat was so tender and perfectly seasoned.
I also like that their coffee. Tiramisu Latte and Dirty Mocha are not too sweet.
