Pioneer Centre Supermart reviews
142Will clamp your car if you step outside their property even if you bought from them. Notice on parking did not even catch my attention and security at the entrance never said anything about their rules. Felt like you're being scammed 2000 pesos just for parking. Bought from their supermarket worth almost 5000 pesos but they didn't care and never considered that you are their customer. Never going back there ever. They should have just charged for parking and I would have paid parking fees.
This is my favorite supermarket. Free parking, reasonable prices, cheap meds from a generic pharmacy, lots of cheap food booths. Decent restaurant/ bars outside. They always have a good assortment.
A rancid smell lingers throughout the store and you'll spend more time standing in line than you did actually shopping. Also, if your groceries are bagged in paper, you get a single paper bag, not double bag.
Very poor design parking infront of the supermarket. Long vehicles are not advisable to park infront of the entrance to the supermarket. They allow motorcycle to park in front of the cars parking spot making it difficult to go in and out of parking. This guard is arrogant to assist the driver of the vehicle. So impolite. Also supermarket does not allow to double the paper bag. So if you bought wet items or heavy cans goodluck placing them one paperbag otherwise bring your own eco bag. Meat section is not the fresh specially in the afternoon. Few meat selection
This grocery store is a game-changer! Living in Mandaluyong for years, I've never seen a better spot besides SM Light. Tons of options, crazy affordable, and it's like Robinson's Forum and SM Light combined. They even have a shelf for sweet deals! Heads up, it might not just be as well maintained as SM and Robinsons’s.
For all the peeps around Greenfield District and Kapitolyo, this is THE go-to grocery store
My go to supermarket because the prices are competitive and the selection is great! They have a corner for all promo items, mostly buy 1 take 1 or massive discounts (near expiry items). I managed to score Oatly buy 1 take 1 one time!
They also have a lot of imported items. They carry a wide selection of beers, too, both from local and international brands. The supermarket itself is a bit rundown but that's what you get given the value it provides.
Parking can get really full here but a bit of wait would land you a spot in no time so don't fret if you arrive at a rather very busy time of day or night.
The Pioneer Center Supermarket is known for budget-friendly groceery trips. I don't know how or why but I have shopped here at least a couple of times and yes, it is true! I "felt" it in my wallet and was quite amazed at that felt difference that I had to mention it to the cashier. She smiled and agreed, of course. But she justified it and even swear that celebrities actually shop.there. The reviews aren't 5 stars, though, upon checking. Some items can be perceived as "real cheap" but I hope none of their consumables and perishables are beyond "expiry" dates.
The range of restaurants and services in the area / center complement the supermarket and a fave is SIAM THAI, which, unfortunately, was already closed when we arrived. Their operating hours must be edited as it said they are to close by midnight on a Saturday but instead, just 10PM.
Always nice to shop in this supermarket. Complete merchandise. Clean and organized. Shelves are full and well-stocked. Prices are clearly indicated. Friendly and courteous staff.
Don’t go here. Go to Unimart.
Cons:
- Not enough cashiers
- Not all cashiers accept card payment
- Way too many people during weekends and rush hours during weekdays
- Smells and looks old
- Looks like not a lot of thought was put into how their inventory is set up / disorganized
- Cardboard boxes scattered everywhere during checkout which you can slip on
- I saw a stray cat just wandering around the store and not one employee gave a single f about it
Pros:
- Proximity to nearby condos
If you don’t live nearby, don’t go here. Go to unimart - WAY better.
Offers cheaper grocery items compared to other supermarkets. Place is pang "masa". You can ride a tricycle going in and out of this place.
There's no available merchandiser when I was buying Hanabishi single burner. It took more than 30 minutes before someone came.
Good place to shop. Lots of parking, variety of products not seen in other stores, lowest price on most products, i just hope you have delivery now that it is pandemic.
My go to place. Feels good next to home. Kumpleto, mura, kabisado mo na hahanapin mo. Medyo konte lang choice sa fish. Sa chicken at red meat medyo okay. Free parking all year long. Al fresco bars and restaurants. May Barber shop. Laundry shop. Pet shop. May Starbucks pa at The French Baker. Low profile pero rock ang PC. Love it.
There are some items I though they would have, unfortunately not, probably due to holiday season.
Everything you need is here and best of all… No Parking fee! Just make sure you do your business within. Else the fine is 5K pesos! But its good for us who are actual patrons.
A historical shopping destination in Pasig. Unimart used to be like this. But now that Estancia is around, wish ALL products in PC supermart are cheaper than in Unimart Estancia:)
Some plastic bag of organic rice n even oatmeal were obviously damaged by mice.hope d mgmt of PC will come up with effective control of pest.
My favorite grocery in town, a one stop shop. Resto bar and some other food chain around the place and not a crowded place considering the store's huge area.
Mahirap lang pumasok at lumabas ang mga sasakyan kasi isinara nila yung isang gate nila.
Dun ka sa matrapik na Pioneer street.
This grocers supermarket is like no other. Hard to find items for your cooking are found under one roof. And the prices are reasonable!
