One of the best cinemas in manila for me. It's small and cozy, but the sound quality of this cinema is unmatched even if you compare it to an iMax theater. Personal opinion only.

I like the accesibility of the place. It's not as big as Estancia Malls, but there are many stores worth visiting. Fully Booked (3rd floor) here is bigger and has more selections compared to the store in SM MOA. It has Mecury Drug store, Mcdo, Jollibee at the lower groud level for those who have limited budget for meds and food. They also have Taho (soybean curd), ice cream, & fruits stall on the same level. I also enjoyed The Markeplace (their grocery store) and the wide variety of selection of meals in the food section. The cinema is on the 3rd floor where you can also find Coffee Bean & Tea leaf (CBTL), i'm not sure if it's Starbucks I saw beside CBTL. They also have food court on same level (which by the way my brother said they sell fresh oysters, i'll try this next time). Toilet are on 2nd and 3rd floor, which is well maintained. The place is not too crowded even if it's Holiday season. Christmas decors are better (in my opinion) compared to other malls.

This is by far the best movie theater I've been to and the Manila area. Great seats, great movies a lot better than Robinson's place in malate

Upscale mall in the heart of Makati residential neighborhood, which was a former site of the 130-megawatt Rockwell Thermal Plant owned by the Lopez-led Manila Electric Railroad and Light Company, also of Manila Electric Company or MERALCO. The 4-storey shopping mall is located at Barangay Poblacion, Makati. Lots of restaurants of all wallet sizes, upscale shops, cinemas, ATMs. WIFI is also available onsite last time I was there.

This is the first time I was disappointed with the service of Power Plant Cinema because of the STAFF. We watched The Eternals on Dec. 4,3: 30pm showing. We paid the tickets online and received an email, which "encouraged" moviegoers to register on the umakemakatisafe website and to bring their vaccination cards. We brought our vaccination cards for sure. But we didn't think the registration on the said website was REQUIRED because the wording in the email indicated it was only ENCOURAGED. What's more, your posters outside the cinema houses didn't say it was required. In fact, the only time people find it out it's required is when the staff asks for it and inside the movie house when the ad about the registration plays. Anyway, this could have been a SMALL ISSUE for us, if not for the STAFF IN FRONT of the movie house.

When we simply said that we hadn't registered yet because Power Plant's email MERELY said "encouraged, " she condescendingly questioned "Di niyo ba natanggap yung email? " Again, we already said we did, but the issue was the wording which said "ENCOURAGED" rather than "REQUIRED" to register. Aside from that, she loudly smacked her hand on her leg in a show of impatience towards us when we were just explaining ourselves. Registering on the website was not the issue, but the fact is, we were MISLED by your email. And your STAFF approaching the matter with a self-indulgent tantrum in front of other people lining up was the most UNPROFESSIONAL display I have seen from people working in Power Plant Cinema.

Considering not a lot of people are willing to go back to watching movies in the cinema yet due to the pandemic, I advise you to train your staff to be more respectful of the moviegoers who are actually willing to help you keep your cinemas afloat despite the uncertainties of the pandemic. I have already given the name of the movie and the date and time of when we watched it. I hope you can have a word with the staff who were on duty during that schedule.

First time in the cinema since the pandemic happened! Was so excited and I was not disappointed. One seat apart and they sanitize in between screenings. There are air filters too. No eating and drinking inside of course. Missed the cinema so much and I'm glad I went here for my first in a long time

My mom and I always get cheese popcorn when we're at the mall—even when we aren't watching anything! A bit sad how they stopped selling popcorn inside the mall though: (Still have to go outside to purchase. Would be nice if they opted to keep a small pop-up inside the mall as well.

Easily one of the high end malls in Makati. Though it’s not that big of a mall, there are enough shops to go around and have a look see or just sit around cafes and restaurants to pass your time. There are other shops outside the mall and strolling around is nice since there are a lot of trees in the area.

One of the higher end cinemas in the Philippines, I’ve actually met Julia Barreto while I was in line for a ticket. The popcorn is great and the cinema itself feels.expensive.

An amazing experience, to shop, dine and relax. From the get-go, you are made to feel safe. Especially in times such as these, during a health crisis, Government rules are followed and enforced. Well done to the staff and security at Powerplant / Rockwell. It's nice knowing that you work towards your motto and do it 'Rock-well'.

Rockwell Center is a high-end mixed-use area in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a project of Rockwell Land Corporation which is in turn owned by the Lopez Holdings Corporation. Rockwell Center was first developed in 1998 and is being expanded since 2012. The architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) carried out the design under the direction of former design partner Larry Oltmanns, while Felino Palafox and his company, Palafox Associates, became responsible for the master-planning of the complex. Its centerpiece, the Power Plant Mall, opened on December 26,2000. The Rockwell Center includes office buildings, condominium towers, a law and business school, and a shopping mall.
The Rockwell Center was constructed on a 15.5-hectare lot in Makati Poblacion previously occupied by a thermal plant operated by then Lopez-owned Manila Electric Railroad and Light Company until its closure in 1994. The lot is bounded by J. P. Rizal Avenue to the north, where it faces the Pasig River, Estrella Street to the east, Rockwell Drive and Amapola Street to the south, and R. Palma Street to the west.
Marking the expansion of Rockwell Center will be The Proscenium at Rockwell, a 3.6-hectare mixed-use development that will stand in the property formerly known as the Colgate-Palmolive (Philippines) headquarters. It is an ongoing luxury development by Rockwell Land Corporation. It stands with four residential towers, office tower, and retail designed by architect Carlos Ott. It consists of residential, retail, office, amenity, and cultural spaces. It will have four residential towers, namely the Kirov, Sakura, Lincoln, and Lorraine. The fifth tower named "The Proscenium Tower" will provide office spaces.

On the pricey side (380 pesos a ticket) but worth it, in my view, given the upgraded seats and the work put in the keep the place clean.

Fine but the vibe was not so enticing probably needs renovation. The putside perimeter was also dark unilluminated very dangerous. Also there are few taxi cabs around.

All cinemas are well-thought of in such a way that it’s easy to get in and out of each theater. Watching a movie here is always a comfortable experience.

The G row in Cinema 2 offers the best seats in the cinema. It's the row that gets easily taken up too.

Best place for movies. The cinemas are super clean with great sound and picture. They offer a variety of snacks and food to bring into the movies. There's also a number of different type of seats ranging from your standard movie chair to a recliner, and an electroninc lounge recliner with foot rest. Overall great experience you can dine in the mall then cap the night off with a movie

Carmens best ice cream, live music in the lower level, people are well dressed and not as crowed as SM malls

For the pricepoint, it would be good to make some improvements on the air conditioning as it tends to be too cold for comfort throughout the movie. Added to that, seat numbers are only lit by the floor which can be an inconvenience for those who have poor vision.

Aside from that, overall experience was good topped off with very comfortable seats! And ofcourse, the very mall itself - Powerplant, still remains a favorite of ours amongst the many malls in the Metro

Cleanliness is good but i wish the row letters illuminates so that seats can easier be found, as well as seat numbers (it was poorly seen as it can only be found at the base (front) of the seat, so it was hard to find, unlike other cinemas were there are several areas where you can see seat number like at the back of the seat in front, at the backrest of the seat, at the armrest, etc.
Sound quality is said to be Dolby Atmos but I think it needs minor tweaks.
Air-conditioning is just about right.
