I would like to know what my Maxicare covers in your clininc.

If you're looking for a dentist you could entrust your kids dental concerns with, I strongly recommend Doc Cha. She has very light hands. Very impressed how gentle she was the whole time. I had oral prophylaxis and filling procedure, and she would always ask me if I was okay or if anything hurts. She's warm and very nice. I'd been looking for our family dentist here in BGC, and definitely going back to their dental clinic for my kids dental checkups.

1. They charge you P1,000 for PPE. That's the priciest I've ever seen.
2. The filling done by them fell out after a week. They said they'd restore it for free, but we have to pay P1,000 for the PPE again.
3. When asked why so, they changed their minds and waived the PPE, but told us to pay for the restoration instead.
Overall, poor business ethics. Not recommended.

I asked for an appointment yesterday Aug 4,2021 and received a text confirmation that I should be in the clinic 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment.

When I got there I was advised that all of the appointments for the said date had been cancelled. I didn't receive a text or call that the dentist will not be available.

I'm giving it 4 stars because I understand the importance of public reviews but I'd like to point out that I'm really disappointed in my experience.

I’m very choosy with my dentists because I value excellence, and especially because I have 3 small kids. I was extremely satisfied here and so were my children (which is rare!) It was Doc Char who handled our cleaning, fillings, and teeth whitening. She was very kind pleasant and often asked if I was ok to make sure I wasn’t uncomfortable.

Traumatizing tooth extraction.

2 anasthesia used and still I was begging for the pain to stop. What's worse, despite having Medicard (health card), still charged me a whopping amount of money because she said the extraction was "out of the scope" (even when the extraction was actually in the scope of Medicard), and charged me for that AND the additional anasthesia (p700+) for a grand total of p3200. For a f**king tooth extraction!?

Hell, provincial dentists didn't charge me anything for using Medicard, AND the tooth extraction was quick and painless!

Doc Char has done my oral prophylaxis many times! She is very gentle and explains procedures very well. She’s warm and non threatening, and charges appropriately. The clinic is very clean and comfortable. Come see her if you need a dentist in BGC!

I think Dr. Char is the best-est dentist in BGC! She has the lightest hand and she is really an expert especially with small kids. I love that she is very personal with her patients. My kids love going to dentist appointment because of her! Their clinic is very excellent. Definitely recommended for those of you who are in BGC.
