Rustan's Supermarket / The Marketplace reviews
28It was a tough night for me as I was searching for an appropriate noche buena for my lottery employees at the Christmas party at my office the next day. I looked at the baskets on top of the racks, but too difficult to choose from. The highest price attained so far was almost P 6-K. Most of the baskets were sold out to various companies as well as the Phil. Air Force. After roaming around for alternatives, a clerk suggested that I get a holiday shopping paper bag to customize the products I selected, including 2 boxes of imported tea bags, a small plastic bottle of sugar-free coffee, 2 small plastic bags of round crackers, a large bag of potato chips, & a small jar of strawberry jam. Despite the store's closure, I persisted in taking the stuff for long as I became the last customer.
Cooked food at the Market Place.
In the middle of the food market aisles they have created an island where the food is cooked.
Not ordinary food, but refined, from baked lasagna to roast beef.
This food is not just for takeaway, because there are a number of chairs and tables where you can sit and dine.
My card was charged and they insisted that it didn't. I paid for my food with a different payment method again.
They have affordable high end cooked food and salad aisle which I really love, they have baked chicken, and delicious meals that are usually served in high end restaurants for only 105 to 150 pesos, the only thing I dont like Is that they don't honor Gcredit na in the cooked food aisle and they don't update their magazine selection as much, but place is clean and has wide selection of cheeses and meats as well as deli
Nice place to de-stress (floors are shiny; clean place too) buy my pantry supplies here (hmmm. B. Samson, Branch Manager of used to be Rustan's Supermarket set the highest standard of "customer service" during his time). Stocks and quality of products of my choices were always available; though a bit pricey
Friendly staff, clean and not crowded.more expensive than other markets, but have more gourmet / fresher produce.their cooked food section is amazing (great taste for a low price)!
Good wine selection, good selection of imported groceries. Deli and meat section very good.
Generally said Rustance is more expensive than other supermarket, but considering about the number of wares, service level and waiting time at casher and usable Robinson card, Rustance is the valuable market.
For safe shopping early hours are best. 8-10am. Sunday morning 9ish only a few people in there.
They got all the things i needed for my charcuterie board. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Tho they need to more strict in following the proper social distancing since most of their customers are senior citizens
Spacious and quiet place to buy. With variety of imported products for sale.
I buy fruit and make them arrange it for me in the basket. Its really nice.
Good selection of quality meat and readonably priced. Salmon cuts are good too. Free parking w grocery bill. Lotto.food stalks. In store healthy options
I’ve been customer of Rustan’s supermart for almost 30 yrs.i prefer this store coz they have clean cuts of meat. But when it was taken over by Robinson’s, the management and staffing deteriorated. Services deteriorated. No more promotional items are being offered to all regular customers.
No hustle grocery store and also you can have a coffee break because Starbucks is there. Imported goods are available here.
What I like with Rustan you can find local and imported brands at the same time. It's clean and organize.
Over priced, under stocked are the two things that comes to mind. You're better off heading to Landmark Supermarket for a more complete grocery experience and better pricing.
Pros: spacious, not crowded, wide assortment of local and imported goods
Cons: more expensive than other supermarkets
My favorite place to do groceries. I love getting deals on their Casino and Waitrose items.
Love their cooked food section. I also like that they have sales on breads and different condiments. It's never crowded here.
I love grocery shopping at Rustan's, you can always find rare products!
Quite a nice selection of cheese and wine!
+ has the same price range as the landmark
This supermarket is also extremely clean and fruits and vegetables are nicely displayed
and surprisingly I found more products from Europe there than in Montreal, Canada.
The Employees are nice and always happy to help
