Salazar Bakery reviews
3 One of the places that make Araneta City an interesting place to go to. This bakery has been here in Farmers Plaza, just by the entrance from the pedestrian overpass along Edsa, and just down the short set of stairs from an MRT 3 entrance. You won't miss it because of its prominent signage and with all the baked goodies on display in its brightly lit establishment.
Lots of delicious yet inexpensive food products are available daily in this bakery. From their famous hopias, to slices of different traditional cakes, to machangs and meat pies, this place is a foodie heaven.
I always get the monggo hopias with salted egg. They have the regular yellow-colored monggo and the black monggo - both with salted egg. Yum. Other hopia varieties, such as the traditional hopia baboy, pineapple hopia, mixed fruits, lotus hopia, are also available and are worth a try.
They have slices of different old-fashioned cakes available that are good for merienda. I always buy the butter slice cake.
Try also their meat pies such as the kuchay pie, asado roll, chicken pie and pork and pickles roll. They're all good!
They also have machang everyday. It's P110 each and its good quality machang.
If you are looking for soy milk in Araneta City, come here to get your fix. They have it in their display chiller inside the store.
Check this place out for snacks and pasalubong. It's worth the trip.
Their Hopia is delicious.soft with just right amount of sweetness. For the store, it is accessible and nice staff.
It's great to buy Hopia and other bakery products for Pasalubongs. The products are always fresh.
