Savemore @ Fame Residences

If you live at Fame Residences, or if you’re nearby, I guess this Savemore would suffice. But overall, this supermarket, just like other Savemores, has a much less variety than its big brother, SM Supermarket — but curiously, they had enough supply (at the time of our visit at least) of the often-hard-to-find Bacon Strips chips.

The prices here are similar, if not the same, as in SM Supermarket. So that means it’s cheaper than Robinsons Supermarket and Pioneer Center Supermarket.

The fruits and vegetables sections are much, much smaller and limited compared to the bigger supermarkets. Same is true with dairy products and canned goods.

But still, this is a decent supermarket that can meet your needs if you’re not innthe habit of hauling so much goods during your regular supermarket runs.

Went for exchange some currencies but the responsibal person was absent. She returned after 45 minutes and served another customer who came after me and let me to wait another 20 minutes more. Then only I got to know they don't change AED. Its a very bad experience. I would have save atleast sometimes if she was on her seat rather desapearing for hours.

Love the convenience of having a supermarket just below SM Fame Residences but I cannot help comment on the fruits and vegetables of Savemore. Most of the time they are infested with maggots.

The place is just in the heart of metro so it is accessible. When you shop there, make sure you double check the price as the tagging may be different from the actual one when punched by the cashier. Also, not all items may be found there, mostly basic and common necessities. Overall, it's convenient to shop there.

A supermarket near the center of Greenfield District, it's not that big but has you basic needs. They also have food stalls inside while you wait. Their staff are courteous and helpful.

Small but you'd be surprised to find everything you need to be in one place. Staff are courteous and helpful.

Yes it is very near from our place, although they lack couple things (I may say) - sometimes the vegetables are that much fresh, sometimes you don't have options to choose from.

Disrespectful Cashier with ID # 4310053. I already filed a Complaint and waiting for the result. Worst transaction na Stress ako, I'm expecting good customer service. No greetings, Nag dabog, Hindi humingi ng Pasensya, Pinag antay ako grabe tagal mag ayos ng pera nya. Parang walang nakatayo sa harap nya na for Payment. Hoping for your fast action SAVEMORE team. Guard at parking is disrespectful. Its not our fault we didn’t saw the exit sign if coming from Mayflower Street. There’s also a car at my back so I cannot turn back. Put the sign next time on the street where its visible.

Parking is not free anymore even for shoppers.

This Savemore at the newly-opened Fame Residences in EDSA Mandaluyong is probably the newest outlet of this budget supermarket chain of the SM Group. Everything in the supermart looks ok except for the tiny, mini checkout counters. According to the staff, these are only temporary.
