Shakey's

I've been going to Shakey's Katipunan for decades and every time I visit them, it's always the same disappointing service. It takes forever to get a requested item, whether it's the bill, an extra set of cutlery, or a glass of water. They also do not fail to forget an order. There were seven available staff on the floor today and the place is less than a quarter full. Either they do not make eye contact or are gossiping, the staff just appear preoccupied one way or another and are inaccessible.

The food is greasy. Their milk tea had sugar granules settling at the bottom (and tasted just that - milk with brown sugar granules).

Their restroom is dirty. The floor is muddy and they don't have toilet paper available.

The Pizza, spaghetti, garlic bread and chicken tasted so good. First time here with the team.

I always have a good dining experience at Shakey's. Pizza very good, their fried chicken excellent. One side dish I ordered today, however, was way off the mark. The fries were very salty and the spice on it was did not help in making them palatable. Anyway, I will not order this.side dish again.

Spacious BUT HOT, NEED TO IMPROVE A/C TEMP. Service, order taking, 30 mins and counting. Too slow. Ignored by wait staffs.it's not full packed but maybe it's an afternoon and need to have a break.

One of our family favorite places to eat. Great food, reasonable prices and excellent staff. The only thing they need to improve is the old and dated stores, it needs a refresh and some TLC.

Good food, friendly servers, but so very hot inside. The a/c units cannot cool the space, especially the party area

Shakey's has always been a family favorite. Prices are reasonable but lately the Pizza could be cooked a bit longer. I like my crust on the crispy side and veggies cooked just right. Staff are always friendly but the stores are outdated compared to newer pizza places. Furniture could use some refreshing and toilets need some regular deep cleaning and maintenance.

Still serving good pizza. Pasta was okay but still my fave is their mojos & fried chicken! Yum!

Servers are not customer friendly. They are busy having chika with each other. So mabagal kumilos.

The branch opposite ADMU was spacious and we were seated quickly. The lunch promos were good although we had a misunderstanding about it. Overall service was good.

VERY Honest people.

Left my wallet here for 24 hours. When I went back for it. It was sealed and was personally delivered by the manager.

This place has been around my whole lifetime but it's not old nor dingy. Place kept up well, clean and food is still the same good quality we know and love.

The quality of food was great, the service was also satisfactory and there was even a space for entertainment and games. Definitely a family-friendly restaurant. Although the A/C wasn't that much cold, I wish they had turned up the A/C.

This store brings the feeling of nostalgia from my college years.
Very welcoming. The tables are not cramped up thus giving you privacy from other customers.

No more Beer on tap, there reason: covid.but you can have iced tea by the pitcher so why take out the beer. Took out the true experience of what i know was shakeys.

Food was not too bad, but I've eaten better on other Shakeys branches. Didn't like the attitude of the waiter since he was kind of rude when he took our order. The table where we were asked to sit was dirty with gravy spilled all over, meaning it wasn't cleaned prior to taking new customers in. Also, the toilet was filthy.

Had a good experience in general, though need to take off a star for having an average service under pressure.hehehe.in fairness, the night we visited was soon after the thanksgiving assembly held in Ateneo.good job to the guard on duty for being able to handle the queue & politely informing the new customers that they still have 10 pending customers.but would call out the store manager for not providing kuya guard the list so as he doesn't have to mention how many pending customers we have every time a customer comes.the need for me to follow up on some of our orders and non compliance on what was agreed during order taking (type of drinks & number of chicken, and additional pasta) is also a minus factor.i believe this is why orders are being repeated, right? And expectation could have been set properly if the waiter did not agree to provide additional pcs of chicken in lieu to unavailable mojos. We could have placed a separate order immediately & has not to wait for additional time for everyone to have their share.but again, kudos to courteous staff. 4 out of 5!

A Katipunan staple. Much has changed since the pandemic but we like hanging out once in a while.
Upside: food tastes great, lots of variety, alcohol is available. Piano is available if you know how to play. If you don't have the Shakey's card yet, they'll upsell. Take it. That saved us a lot of money.
Downside: wait staff not too attentive, it's tough getting their attention-it is a huge place. Fun Zone arcade has been closed (we get it but still a bummer).

I came at lunch time on a Wednesday and was the first and only customer. The staff were having a fun time together, talking and laughing. As I ate my order of Salad, Chicken & Pizza one of them came and served me chocolate cake, saying it's one their managers' birthday. That's Filipino hospitality and friendliness. ️ I made an additional order of coffee to accompany the cake they gave me, of course! I really didn't need any cake. But I had some anyway. Didn't want to reject their friendly and generous gesture. Really appreciate it, Shakey's. You made my day! ️

Great new hand washing machine. Watch out for those supercard promos you think 2 burgers for 300 its plus the supercard so the bill is like 1100 pesos.
