Sky Deck View Bar, The Bayleaf Intramuros

Went there with friends for late dinner. Located at the roof deck of The Bayleaf Hotel, the main attraction is the nearly 360° view of old and new Manila. Food is a secondary concern but is actually good while service is very commendable. Just make sure to go there when it's not raining or it'll likely be closed. Also, you can order pizza which comes from the restaurant below. Photos of food and views from the top attached to give you an idea.

Good food, great ambience good service

Ordered sisig, pakbet, adobo, local wings, birya, truffle pizza and truffle pasta. A bit on the high side but well worth the price.

Service was excellent accommodating staff

They change the way Pork with Shrimp Anchovies was being cooked by making the pork skin crispy but the meat ended dry and tough. I prefer the traditional way of cooking this Pork with Shrimp Anchovies (Binagoongan Baboy). I hope the chef will return to cook it the way it should be.

The Kare Kare dish is still very good and excellent. I love it. It is said that this is the only Filipino Dish without foreign influence from Spanish or Chinese cooking. One must try it because it is one of the best restaurant that serves very good Kare Kare. You might find this in other restaurant but it might not be the same as here where they use oxtail (Rabo de Toro) aside from the thick skin of the cow that was softened by continuous boiling and it created collagen in the food. This time I failed to find ox tripe in the Kare Kare served to me at Bay Leaf Sky View Deck.

Pricey and nothing special with the food. We celebrated my Nephew's birthday here and they enjoyed the view. That's it, nothing special.

Overall, the place is 5 stars! My plus one and I enjoyed the place. Just a bummer that when we arrived at 5pm, there were no seats available for the sunset and Manila view via roof deck side. It's as expected since time in starts at 4pm and ends at 7pm (first batch).

They also have live performers that were very good! Very chill and romantic place to dine. I would recommend this place 100%

We ordered Spicy Calamari, Kare-Kare, and Nachos with Salsa, plus 2 iced teas. The calamari was good, definitely a must try. Kare-Kare was superb, a must order (make sure to have bagoong), andd for the Nachos, they were a lot, plain, but a lot. Salsa was fresh (or at least i think so) refill of the Salsa would cost additional.

Price wise, a bit average - above average, a bit expensive. Considering the ambience and place, I think it pulls up the value side of the expense.

If there would be a chance, I will go back here and try other menu items, plus chilling out.

Because the mercato was alreasy closed when we finished our Intramuros night tour at 9, i brought my cousins from the US to the Bayleaf skydeck.

The skydeck was still cool with lounge singers now. However most part has rood covering coz i remember they only used umbrella canopy back then. So if you need to see like the city hall of manila you need to go to that side to get a view of it or maybe be at the higher area. Theres a higher area with tables good for 2. But any how we were able to still appreciate the overlooking view of Manila.

The food, sorry I need to have an honest review. How the sisig was cooked and the rest of our orders are not to my liking and taste (except for the crispy bagnet - i like this).

The service crew though are attentive. Ill give them 5 stars and a tip.)

Harsh outdoor lighting is good for seeing the great food but can temporarily blind if you turn away from the balcony.

Really good place for sightseeing and sunset watching.

Sky deck in the heart of intramuros.the 360 degree view of the city from the top of the building were simply stunning. The deck is very spacious and well designed but better if they setup more tables in the edges. For their food, I had a high hopes especially in their buffet, maybe my expectation is too high for a class buffet like this. I would recommend to try here and experience the sky deck view in night.

Beautiful place with a great view of the city of Manila. Extensive menu, with nice choices. Great place to unwind, have a drink, and dine.

Excellent views of Manila Bay and surrounding skyline. Delicious selection of food and wide choice of drinks. Live band playing on weekends and lots of tables with beautiful 360 views.

Good quality food and superb taste that does not hurt the bank. The awesome 360 view of Metro Manila by night light. Overall experience is excellent.

Highlight of this place is the view actually. Completely breathtaking; you'll be able to view the famous Manila sunset at its best, while munching on delicious food. For the dessert, pudding made the best impression for me. Great place for taking your foreign guests, as well as loved ones.

Great Place, Great Ambiance. Foods are great. I recommend their pizzas so. However, so many people are eating so you need reservation a week before your schedule. All in all worth it for the wait. Great view in the evening. Waiters are great.

Nice view and great staff. Food was great. Price slightly on the higher median end but good for the place. Alcoholic drinks needs more variety.

Staff was accomodating and the food was amazing. The view was also good. I recommend the lamb and bagnet.

A beautiful place with panoramic views from the roof top restaurant spoiled by the worst attitude I have encountered in a long time.
On arrival we were told that the roof top was closed because it had been raining, they offered us a seat in the lower restaurant but I told them I came especially for the rooftop. Then a waitress came down the stairs and said we could dine on the rooftop but we had to be gone by 19.00 pm. (This was at 16.25) that's acceptable for most people I'm sure. The rooftop was busy and we were seated. We ordered and the food was good and not expensive. On nearly finishing our main (starter and main served together without option) the waiter asked if we would like to order anything else before we paid, this was at 18.05. I must say that before, during and after our meal we felt unwelcome and rushed even if we still had time.
In all what could and should be an enjoyable experience spoiled by extreme commercial pressure by the management executed by all staff. We will not be going back

Perfect view to end the day in intramuros
Food was a bit expensive but the quality was very good compared to avarage restaurants (I suggest to try Kare-Kare).
The staff were welcoming and provided us a good service.

I will come back for sure.

If you are looking for a cozy romantic place, then this is the place, 360 view of Intramuros Manila and the Manila city center. Good place for barkada or family dining. Accessible to public transportation. Great food and variety of choices.expect more people on weekends. Parking space is available. This is a hotel you might consider their accommodation also.
