Sky Garden By The Bay Restaurant reviews
36VERY BAD SERVICE! My sisters and I went for a walk and saw this place. The guy asked us if we'd like to go for an unlimited meal or another option. We asked for the menu and he told us to wait. We waited and saw him talking and laughing with people inside, and he did not return to hand us the menu. Extremely rude, and the service is definitely not and NEVER will be recommended.
I ordered sizzle plate but it doesnt sizzle just warm and no flavor to the side dishes nice view but really food needs improvements
The lady server is not generous and not good at handling customers. She seems like she doesn’t want to take orders from customers. We are here right now 26 June 2021 12PM. Very disappointing.
First time to ever put up a review.
They were good at first orders, but after a while, their service became (super) delayed. They prioritized a group of men who seemed well-off. In fact, one of the servers/waitress gave her number to the customer. The attitude of the lady servers were rude as well. They weren’t like this the previous year we went here. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Treat every customer equally. Lima-lima kaming nag-unli samgyup, tapos magdadabog pa?
Service: Very poor. No one will give you table even there is available. Understaff. Waited for more than one hour for the food. Restaurant looks understaffed.
Facility: no available stove for grilling. Cannot order special grill.
Menu: most of the food in the menu are not available. Only one special grill in available
Food: good taste from but I was not able to order special grill.
They have 4 meat choices: plain pork and beef and marinated pork and beef. The marinated beef is tasty but they immediately ran out of stock at 8pm! Also they said they can't serve the chicken yet because they were still cooking it but when it arrived, its not even hot.
Very poor service that night. The view outside is great though.
We got there at 11-11: 30 and by sheer bad timing, the server said there's no ala carte order - only unli korean grill since there was no cook.
Classic understaffed, overcrowded samgyup. Some table grills aren't working so they have to use makeshift ones. There's just four choices of meats even with unli pork and beef. Better spend your money elsewhere
Loation is not hard to find, not much to see and nothing extraordinary with the food they serve typical korean.
The restaurant’s view is pretty. Customer services, I’d give 3*. The food wasn’t that great, some dishes were extremely sweet, some were salty. It’s fair for a family party
A relaxing area to dine in.
The ambiance and the atmosphere of the area depends on the season
Food was alright, seemed decently marinated and without too much connective tissue. I had a few bad bits such as chewey or hard pieces but given it was unlimited grill that's fine.
They charge you for left overs so you need to watch what you get along with a time limit.
Staff weren't very good, we weren't told our ordered drinks weren't in stock for some time, not asked if we would like to order something else instead and then only some of us were given drinks while others were drinkless. We weren't given glasses for the water until we were essentially done with our meal.
We were told that you cannot have people ordering unlimited grill and ala carte sitting at the same table yet people at the neighbouring table were clearly eating pancit/fried rice alongside having the grill full of meat so that wasnt very good.
Ultimately I would consider going there again in future but, alongside the issues above and the people begging us for money from the street while eating out meal. I would go elsewhere personally.
I think they should disinfect or control the mosquitoes within the outdoor space so as we customer will be prevented from mosquito suck. Just a thought! The rest, all good!
The food and the staff service is good but the restaurant badly needs good interior and decent utensils, the glass they serve are just the obviously cheap ones and so are their water pitcher. The menu book needs a bad replacement since it all looks dirty and crumpled already. Sadly the restaurant need to update their whole dining experience as the resto beside them are making the whole dining experience a lot better and a worthwhile experience.
The food was okay, and the view was nice too. But, they were obviously understaffed and we waited for almost an hour to get our orders despite the fact that we're not much people dining. The staff also kept forgeting about our orders and asked us to repeat the orders for about three times.
No bbq. Not much on the skewers. Bunwingi is a mess. It's hot outside. Smoking is allowed. Almost no Koreans. Dating - sounds good
All the food we ordered were good so far. I really liked the korean fried chicked.really cooked to perfection.
The food was affordable and the side dishes were better than those offered by similar places. It was also nice to dine by the bay. I would have given it 5 stars were it not for the fact that the service was less attentive and prompt when other customers started arriving. It would have been understandable if the place was already full. However, the slower service was evident even when it was just about 1/3 full. Still a recommended place to eat though.
Great ambience they have. The workers is very fast, the only problem is their chopstick steel that so slippery and hard to use. "I prefer wooden chop stick" and they should have that atleast.
Very chill place. A garden like feel in front of the bay. There's an area for the unli Korean bbq and area for ala carte / drinks. Korean unli price is same for other BBQs but this has more authenticity (on side dishes) especially the egg and the soup. You can tell because the owners are Koreans. Only thing is that servers tend to get panic-y when there's a lot of people na.
