SM Hypermarket at Ortigas East reviews
65It is a good one stop for all you need. Spa, hypermarket, money exchange or bill payments, shoe/bag laundry, food.
It's conveniently located for me as it's close to my house. But staff is generally unable to help. Some of the items that are out of stock, stay out of stock for several months. So it's better to look for them elsewhere. Overall a convenient place.
Wide selections of foods. Pricey for most products. Frozen foods were a little deprosting as the freezer's temp weren't in proper freezing point. Some flies in the fresh meat sections.
At the time I'm at Hypermart, less people inside the store. You can freely move around and shop your basic essentials needs.
Well …. Choices and Stocks not That much
Baggers are most of the Time Chatting and standing around without assisting customers - worst seniors.
Cashiers too Chatting about end contract while the customers are paying - this might be dangerous?
Lot's of establishments aside from many selections of hypermarket
Ace hardware
Food stalls you can enjoy ur snacks or meal
BDO bank
Very accessible too
Not crowded
Parking space too w fee
Across Tiendesitas
Very disappointing experience here! We were in line for almost 20mins only to realize that the lane is for prestige card holders only. This sales lady/cashier has no consideration at all! The signage was very small so how can you notice it! I hope SM management can do something about this!
My chocolates are missing 3rd aisle from the left basket lane (single lane) 2 days ago around 10 am. Umm good luck scammer cashier. Shoppers beware.
Very Bad experience! 9am open ng supermarket. Marami ngang stall pero until 10am di pa rin ready. Lalo na yung bacsilog sisig hooray.
I love that they are pet friendly. When I visited over the weekend there's a bazaar outside in front facing Tiendesitas
Very accessible and a good alternative to buy groceries from especially when you want to avoid the traffic to SM Megamall. They have most of the things we need including fruits, veggies and other wet market items. The lines to the cashier counters are long, particularly on weekends; but then it is almost always the case in other supermarkets as well.
It was a satellite voting registration center for 4 days!
The presence of a lot of security makes it quite a safe space plus with the good ventilation all around the area.
Veggies are fresh and their dairy products lineup almost complete
Ang haba ng pila sa supermarket tapos konti lang bukas na cashier. Yung mga gulay hindi rin magaganda. Karamihan nabubulok at nangingitim na. Di na kami uulit mag grocery jan.
This place is good everything that we needed is always available and cashier's are friendly enough to assist customers keep it up and stay blessed? ️
Love doing groceries here. One of the biggest in Pasig with so many options to choose from. The staff is also helpful. Yes to SM Hypermart Tiendisitas!
They have stores that offer basic necessities. A very good convinience for people living in the area.
Good place to shop and dine. Very strict due to the pandemic. Recommend to follow the LGU protocol before entering.
Unadvisedly decided to do my food shop during weekday afternoon rush hour & downpour haha. Not clever. Just slowed everything right down. Encountered the heaviest traffic to get there and back. I applaud those who live like this day in day out Once in and past the guards and check points (QR codes, temp checks etc) everything is pretty much smooth sailing. SM Hypermarket/ Supermarket is well stocked with fresh, pantry, frozen and deli produce. I also found brands other than the usual US and Australian, French and British. There was a nice selection of fruits, cheese and butter. To the far left and rear of the store sold outlet clothing (found H&M and Pull & Bear and other European brands). Asking staff for directions for anything, this case a particular food item is, as always in the Philippines, tricky. They can never seem to give a straight answer. Anyway, got to the cashier and the queue wasn’t particularly a long wait. One of the packers was very rude speaking in tagalog and obviously not knowing I could understand every word of what he was saying - speaking of “tourists” and how we are annoying customers because we come to the Philippines and don’t understand the language. By the time I was finished with him he was very apologetic and clearly embarrassed. I’d reminded him it’s people like us “tourists” who help keep his country’s economy moving oopssee. To end on a positive note, a lady guard stationed by the main entrance was a huge help trying to get a taxi in the chaos of peak Manila traffic. Whoever she is is a credit to this SM branch. Would I shop here again? Absolutely
Always pleasant experience. The grocery has the things i need, very helpful salesmen n women, cheap and expensive items so shopers can make their choices. Very convenient for me.
Great for groceries and food items. Many options for dining after grocery shopping. It has a great pagluto set of shops that will allow you to purchase fresh live seafood and get them cooked while you wait. Aside from that, there's a bank inside and also a pharmacy. There's also a hardware store that can sell most of what you'll need to repair your home or for your do it yourself projects.
