SONGDOWON QUEZON CITY BRANCH reviews
35Exceptional service with great food. It might not be the cheapest but you are really getting what you paid for. High quality banchans and meats. They even gave a free ice cream desert. Will come back for sure b
The best thing about this place is the service and the cleanliness (really clean from the entrance to the tables, chairs and even the bathroom!), I hope they maintain it that way!
Thank you for the free Melona ice cream that is given to customers dining from 10am to 6pm daily, as of writing. Our server was also very very helpful in choosing the dishes and whenever we asked for more refills, it came within 3-5 mins for the side dishes and around 5-10 mins for the meat! The food is really delicious too especially the meat (high quality) and including the side dishes that is also refillable!
I will bring my friends here!
We love the meat here among any other samgyup places! You just gotta ring the bell 2-3x before a server come to you sometimes
The food is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, the waiter's grilling service is great, and the service is friendly and polite. It is worth visiting again. I hope to taste more delicious and different meals next time.
Yummy food and attentive restaurant staff. The table's bell button is very useful. Great place to eat with family or friends. Resto clientele are mostly foreigners, expats and mixed families. Side dishes are unlimited, awesome and very tasty. I saw that they have 2 private rooms, but the walls are see-through so they're technically not totally private. Washrooms are really clean and well supplied with toilet paper and a bottle of hand wash. There are 3 toilet cubicles inside the women's washroom. Hand dryer's plug was pulled out of the socket.
The price is on a little bit expesive but you can guarantee that all the meat is premium. Very authentic and friendly staffs. This is ala carte serving but they give a huge portion of your order so you'll definitely fill your stomach for its price.
We ordered Set A or Couple set, Bean Sprout Soup and Kimchi Stew. Love the marinated beef, great quality meat, good cut. Though a bit pricey compared to other Samgyupsal restaurants around but it's definitely worth it.
It was so good. The Dolsot Bibimbap and bulgogi soup were sooo good. I would definitely go here again. So yummy Really so good haha
Definitely the best korean grill I've been to so far in the Philippines with all "Samgyup. " restaurants around.
Their meat are no doubt better than most Korean bbq restaurants but they lack service.they also lack side dishes
The food was really good, but there were a few food items that were bland. It was however, good for the price you're paying for.
It's hard to find Korean Barbeque places that are clean these days. When I say clean, it is not just the dining area, but it also includes how food is kept, handled, served. So far, in all my visits here, Songdowon has delivered.
Aside from the interiors and great food, I give Songdowon additional cookie points for cleanliness and working wash rooms. The ambiance needs to be improved on though – there was a time when I ate there and the song, on repeat, blasting from the speakers was the Sine Skwela jingle.
I also like that you can ask them to cook your Samgyup for you, but it's done in their kitchen. I make them cook my favorite Pork Samgyup all the time.
Great korean food, albeit a bit pricey, quality is leagues above unlimited Korean places, or commercial korean places like kaya, but you do pay a premium for quality. Not exactly value for money, but not exactly an expense you'd regret.
Pro tips:
Get the low cost "aged" items (aged pork belly and aged beef fingers), they're the best! Like thick cut bacon, and steak fingers.
Ask if there's pa muchim, goes well with the grilled beef.
For today's side dishes, the beansprouts, kimchi, eggplant, soup and odeng were worth multiple refills.
To get the servers attention, there's a very convenient button thingie per table, and they're responsive after you press.
Recently been here twice. The place is quite delightful to be. And, the food and service is first rate.a must try.
Service was good. Side dishes were adequate and they took the time to sanitize the area first. However, what took me by surprise was the toughness of the pork served. I'm used to meat sliced thinly enough for the grill. We were served inch thick cuts of meat that proved difficult and tedious to grill.
One of the few best Korean (authentic) restaurant in QC. Quality meat. Superb service by waiters. Parking in front is convenient.
Auhentic korean charcoal grill reastaurant. Not your typical samgyup place. Menu has wide selection of quality meat and other korean dish. Attentive and very polite staff. Parking is ample. Very good exhaust ventilation. Highly recommended. Will surely be back to try other meat again.
Very lively and safe place.lots of parking.friendly and accommodating staff /mngmt.recommended for events place for your year end party
Food is good and staff are very very attentive.
Place is clean and strictly following health protocols.
Very good experience we will surely be back here.
I enjoyed the food together with my friends, i like the free ice coffee, and also the sweet eggplant i like it.
