SLMC has an inefficient HMO section with discouragingly long lines that seem to taunt patients to pay cash, or against trusting the insurance process for illnesses.
HMO Section is also cramped, doesnt have enough seats to accommodate those in the waitlist. I sat by the couch's armrest, which is more than what i can say really for those downstairs, enduring the hellish conditions. I got my consult-LOA after more than an hour.
Conflicting (thus, confusing) infornation was given by various hospital staff for such things as direction and access.

Cheap price for parking, mababait yung guard. Yung nurse na nag assist saken hindi maarte khit sobrang private ng hospital.

Worth the price yung lab test na gnwa ko kse sobrang accurate.

I’d say majority of the staff are very well mannered and trained. Everytime I ask anyone that works there some information, they guided me immediately.

I’d say the art building though is a bit old and dirty but the main building is pretty clean and sometimes confusing to navigate.

Better to bring in cash or card because unfortunately their gcash doesn’t work. One of the downsides in some of the services here are usually packed with people so best to call in advance. I do love the service and the professionalism but this is definitely a very expensive hospital.

Besides all this, there are food places inside where they serve really good food.

Can somebody please see MAB! We were all sweating and waiting uncomfortably cos the waiting are doesn't have AC. You pay for 1.5K for Doctor's fee magkalasakit ka naman sa init ng hallway then napaka disgusting pa isamg clinic sa 5th floor pag enter ng clinic makikita mo parang sari sari store na cos the secretary is selling all sorts of goodies. She offers them right upon paying for the Doctor's fee. Thos is very unprofessional. Sell those stuff within the confines of her personal place hindi sa clinic. I understand she may not be earning much but a hospital or clinic should not be selling goodies like cookies, kakanin, snacks, etc. Nakaka turn off. Parang napepressure pa yung pasyente sa pag bili kc sinasaby ang pag alok nung secretary sa pag bayad ng fee which is WRONG AND UNETHICAL. This is a clinic on the 5th Floor ng MAB. This practice must STOP in all hospitals and clinic. Kung gusto magtinda mag bukas ng sari-sari store!

No medical aid provided at the emergency dept! My dad’s bp was fluctuating but they just let him sit on a chair with no monitoring device or what! He waited there for 8hrs for nothing!

Good Medical Facilities, Great staff, Bad Parking Plan.
I Got a loved-one admitted, The staff were really helpful with processing which is a huge help as who knows how to do these things really hahaha
The hospital has some age to it, so does the building but the upkeep is exceptional so you would not notice. I would assume the same goes for their medical facilities and equipment.
Caveat, Traffic plan within their compound is a mess.
Their main throughway is always jammed, which is also the ER's access point. Go figure.
For a reputable medical institution, It is surprising that they don't even have bike parking to promote active mobility among their staff and ranks.
Hence, you've got three parking structures full to the brim for visitors and staff, one parking slot for each. So for each admitted patient, with one visitor, a doctor, and a nurse, you need at least 3 parking spots. If you've got 70 rooms.

So I contracted COVID in this place Anyway they admitted me in 1-West because apparently I had dengue at the same time ‍️ I wasn't mad because they didn't charge me for anything, I got a nice private room with AC, Wi-Fi and the food was goood! Then after 3 days they discharged me already

Very very helpfull. Very accomodating, nice people. Thanks for the quick action when we arrive at ER. Thanks to the Doctors and Nurses for the help, they revive my dad for the stroke because of a very low sugar. Again "Thank You! " ️

My wife was brought to ER, complaining about dizziness, low bp and vomiting… surprisingly, nothing was given or done.no one even checked her eyes etc. This is not the 1st time i had this experience. So the discharged us… again mo medication given… just asked us to follow up with her ob. I brought her to Med City after.in less than 15 mins, there were doctors who checked on her… was injected pain killer and anti vomit meds… St Luke’s just expensive that’s it but ER operation sucks!

As hospitals go, St. Luke's is one of the best hospitals in the Philippines. Although this QC facility is limited in the space they acquired, the place is well-maintained, and the facilities are upgraded.

Years ago yan, i hope ganun pa rin.

So many good reviews have been written for this well deserving hospital. And let me add my voice to these countless good reviews. I accompanied my brother last August 13,2022, to undergo an EMG/NCS test. This hospital is much cleaner than most if not all provincial and other public hospitals (including many private hospitals). The staff (from the front desk/reception areas to the nurses and doctors up to the billing/cashier) are very professional and attentive to the patients' needs. It might be a little bit expensive, but I will rather pay more for a 4-star hospital than 1-star hospital (which unfortunately are almost omnipresent in the provinces; especially far-flung provinces) where the cleanliness and professionalism of many of them are questionable!

I was referred to SLMC last September 2022. I have DDD and had to be admitted for a week. The place is very clean. The doctors, nurses, nutritionist even the cleaning staff are caring and friendly.

Worst discharge process ever in a very expensive hospital! Better go somewhere else, the experience felt like you are in a government hospital.

Very nice hospitals. Very clean and at the main entrance there was an awesome scent or fragrance. The medical staffs, the nurses and doctors especially the young lady doctors are so humane and patient centered individuals. Thanks for administering the first dose of covid19 vaccine to the kids under 12 especially for accommodating my 8yr old son. Kudos and God bless you all SLMC family.
