We are here last December 22,2023 together with other friends to celebrate christmas get together, so we are a group of 11 pax but to our dismayed they are not allowing us to bring our own brand of whisky despite offering a corkage fee what makes it even worst they are allowing corkage for wine only what a double standard policy. The manager on duty was so unaccommodating and inconsiderate. We will not go back here anymore nor recommend it.

Attended a birthday at the Burgundy room (with own restroom). Attentive service by Andy and Alvin. Excellent food: steaks, sea bass, salads, soup, and starters. Live music from 9pm. Great experience.

I had very high expectations but I was a bit disappointed. For the prices, I expected more class - - Carpet, cloth napkins, quiet, cozy ambiance before the band plays, etc. But it turned out not too different from the Strumms I knew. No big deal.

I love this place. I really do— but the service is spotty at best. Food is great.

Lately, the service is much to be desired. I’m not sure if today was an off day, but the waitresses were very slow. It took them 45 minutes to settle our bill. It’s not like they had a gazillion tables to attend to— at most, there were 5.

The only waiter who was remotely attentive and alert was jasper. At least he was smiley and cheerful. I wish I could say the same about his co-workers.

Also, is Liezl new? As the first person to greet guests at the door, I got the vibe that she didn’t want to attend to people. Very heavy on her feet. Not quite the welcome wagon I was expecting.

Again, no complaints on the food. The beef tartare and chateaubriand are my go-to’s. It’s also my favorite lunch place.

Best music venue in Manila that I've been to. Not so much a pub with music but a music place with food and drink. Recommended, but book a table or you may be disappointed.

Great food, even greater music. A bit pricey but all worth it. They have a smoking area right where you can still see the band.

Been here 2x and not bad. Love the nostalgic music of the 70's, 80's & 90's played. Some group are noisy, service is slow! Strumm's will always be my last option.

Sublime madness.inspired mayhem.this is how I would describe this place.

Yes, admittedly, the bands that played the night I returned to Strumm's after decades were simply great (Highway 54 and Soul Sisters). This place can really discriminate (in a positive note) on what will work and what will fall flat and it's a good thing Strumm's has kept up to harnessing what really works.

The off-est part is the crowd.it feels a bit strange to see a club full of people who were brought up during the dazed but wonderful 80's (me included) trying so hard to recapture their lost youth (this ain't the place dears!). Then you see a few geriatrics (though not bad if they want to have fun), a few toddlers (yes! Toddlers. I bet they will keep this experience forever and will be telling their future psychiatrist how they have been traumatized by loud music, flashing lights and a bawdy crowd during their childhood!) and a few millenials who seemed to be confused on what's going on but showing neutral amd bland faces in which they are good at.

Gone are the days when everyone would at least have the effort to dress up when clubbing.or observe social rules when in a club.yes, we had rules during our time and showing off zumba moves (while also geared up in that garish zumba attire.really? !) or gyrating as if in front of a tv camera (see how those afternoon variety shows affect our culture!) aren't part of those rules. KARNABAL, to put it mildly, is a word that comes to mind to describe the place.

I don't know if I am having a culture shock after not being in any club for a long time but this Strumm's experience tells me to totally retire from this type of scene! But I don't blame Strumm's and this is business.and anyone is welcome as long as you can afford it!

Long-time bar in Makati featuring live music. Go to place to see local cover bands any day of the week.

Who would not like Strumm's when a band like Artstart sings nostalgically great and memories of your teenage life is being brought back on the dancefloor. This is our go-to place for reunions and chill out nights with good friends. Staff are very courteous and attentive. Prices of drinks and food are reasonable. Crowd is still decent and audience is mostly professional.

The live music is great and is well worth the visit. Drinks selection is above average, as was service. Overall the experience was very pleasant.

Decent place. Good music although the crowd isn't for me. I'd maybe recommend this place to my older colleagues.

This is the place where you can get all the 80's, 90's song! Overall it is a nice place to be, food and drink are not expensive, the crowd are mostly age 30 above.

Classic spot.you know what you're getting when you come here - old school music played competently, standard food and drinks.no frills place, but it does it so well that it's always full.
