Tajimaya Charcoal Grill reviews
24This place is heaven for me.authentic japanese barbecue, their premium ala carte meats are so good but their cuts of meat for the unlimited promo is great as well! I love yakiniku and this is probably one of the best yakiniku places in the philippines.if you have never tried ox tongue before, try it here it will change your life.
Visiting with my wife always when I visit Manila.
Bit expensive but taste good.
Last time when we visited, I felt they lost freshness.
Still ok but better used be.
My husband really felt the need to eat a crazy amount of meat so we went for the lunch special where you can get unlimited meat and seafood to grill for 799. You can skip the salmon bec they give you the “throwaway parts”, the scallops were just ok but the chicken was good. My husband really enjoyed the pork and beef cuts he was served though, they were tender and juicy. Service was good but the place needs a bit of sprucing up - you can see all the signs of wear and tear already but at least the food was still good!
One the cheapest japanese bbq in manila! Pero masarap pa din! Pasensya na sa tatay kong di marunong mag smile.
1. Low class beef
2. They serve you a full plate and demand for a leftover charge per head
Go to soban instead
Good food. The beef is good and the chicken. Price is quite affordable for all u can eat. Ambiance so-so. Service needs improvement, but for the price, its worth it.
Legit na masarap ang wagyu nila, lalo na kapag libre lol
But srsly, they serve good food. Even their atsara (pickled papaya) tastes awesome. Bagay na bagay sa meat.
My only suggestion is to fix the flush in the women's comfort room. It doesn't work when we went there. Though sana maayos na by now hehe.
The price is a bit expensive, and there is not even enough stock of vegetables for barbecue, such as lettuce, the atmosphere is not good, and even basic dishes need to be purchased. There won’t be any dishes to give away, Won't try again
Super delish! Meat is oh so tender! Melt in your mouth goodness! Marbling is perfect! Taste is superb! 5 star meat! 1 thing I'm not very happy about is their rice is not as good.
Go here if you are looking for authentic Japanese meat (Yakiniku).
And YES, it’s pricey but their beef has this premium taste that will make you say “hmmm so tasty! ”.
We just ate here for lunch today and we enjoyed it.
I think this is the largest assortment of grilled meat in the metro: scallops, salmon belly, beef, pork, chicken, fish cake and sausage. And it's unlimited for only around 700 pesos!
Great food though there was a problem with leaking air conditioners. We were transferred immediately but to a much smaller table
This place had great wagyu beef, a constantly maintained charcoal grill and good service. A little pricey but it is in Rockwell so that's a given. They have the yummiest sauce for the grilled meat, it would even work well with plain rice.
We had lunch here the other day. Food was good but the service was slow. We already ran out of Kimchi and i asked the server for some. It never came so i had to request it again from another server. Servers were not rude but they were unattentive. I hope they do something about the service.
Really good yakinuku restaurant in Rockwell. It’s also a Zomato Gold restaurant so you’ll get value for your money. They also serve unlimited and ala carte.
Good selection and quality of meats. The food waste tasteful and the service was pretty good. Mochi Tiramisu ice cream was dessert and was nice. Overall it was nice and I will be back. Price wise it is ok as quality of food was good.
Service is efficient though at some peak hours delivery of excellence is a bit at par with those of lower prices. But there's no question about the food it's just the best Japanese culinary experience I've had.
The wagyu beef was amazing as well as the other food. Just have problems with the overall service
1) Reserved on a given time but when we arrived, the personnel looked unready to cater us. Food and charcoal took too long to arrive
2) charcoal burned out too fast. Either it was too hot or not capable of cooking at all. Waiters hesitate on replacing charcoal and thus slow cooking.
3) ambiance is fine. Noise is controlled from different tables so this is definitely a place to talk and mingle without disturbing other customers
4) it was too dark. Honestly cant see if my food has already been cooked or not.
Overall, my experience with my last visit was unorganized and slow service from the crew
Food is delicious. They have good grill equipment as most of the smoke goes to the exhaust. Good value unli rice meat and drink for 685 pesos. Will difinitely come back. One of the best places for this type or restaurant. A hidden gem
Cravings for Yakiniku was satisfied
Went here to try their Eat-all-you-can which cost 685php and it was worth it. It includes marinated beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, squid, sausage, rice, kimchi, beans, salad and bottomless iced tea
Good quality meat.
Their staffs are accommodating, we went here pass 5pm to ask for their unlimited deal, they said it was only served during lunch, but they allowed us to have it.
Best bday gift ️
The place is quite big and i like the ambiance.its also clean. They have comfort room inside.
️Will definitely recommend.
