The Marketplace

We only shop here for sale items as the regular items are usually more expensive than SM or Pioneer Center. Sometimes they offer 50% off on Grom Ice Cream, or +500g on lamb chops.

Probably the worst Rustan's The Marketplace I've been to. The meat that I bought are not fresh and already smells foul. Most of the green leafy produce are already wilted.

There were only 2 checkout counters available and no express counters were open so those of us who just bought 3-4 items had to queue with people with full pushcarts. The senior staffs are not doing much just mostly standing and running around with their paperwork like headless chickens. One of them could've open up the express counter and helped the long queue a bit but no.

If this trend of bad produce and service persists, I see this supermarket closing down sooner or later. Bad produce and near rotten meats you can expect from the likes of SM Supermarkets. But for the price you are getting it from The Marketplace, it is the last place you'd expect to find them.

And my supposedly "healthy" grilled chicken breast salad turned out to be a foul-tasting one due to questionable freshness of The Marketplace's meat and produce section.

Needless to say, I will avoid this place for the said items.

Hopefully, the management corrects this problem before the ship sinks.

My wife "mhunick medina cayangyang" or "jonalyn Medina cayangyang" whatever name she is using has been cheating on me with this guy Raymond a former butcher at you store. All fresh employess conived in order to keep their relationship discreer, sales assistant sam, serwin, mac and rowel are also accomplices in this scandalous act of adultery. They all know that my me and my wife mhunick an employee under JDC have an 8 months old baby and 2 kids still they all agreed to keep mhunick and raymonds relationship a secret to the management. My fullname is John Jasper Cruz De Guzman also an officer in a supermarket will ask your company to fire my wife, immediate dismissal before i put your store on a trending scandalous situation, i will even put tulfo inside your store. It’s small but it has always been reliable. I find discounted lamb chops and burger Patties here. They also have a wide array of brands that are not found in local supermarkets. The staff are courteous and helpful. They also allow me to leave my grocery when I have to do other errands while in the mall. They always send a staff to help load my grocery to the car. The grocery has always been clean. I recommend trying their cheese section.

Variety is poor, alot of the stock seems slow moving thus you get old items

I like this place.when you feel like eating before you buy anything you could eat at there rotisserie and their lechon kawali is perfect.or you can go to their mami and dimsum place which taste so good never mind the staff who is always frowning just eat the food its in the corner opposite the rotisserie.you'll find rare ingredients for your cooking needs here but surprisingly the common ones are not available like sarsa ni mang tomas.
