The place was great but food refills were slow. Some food choices were not even filled and have been empty since we arrived. The roast beef and chicken servings were disappointing and the staff was not so accommodating. It seems like he does not like what he was doing. Food tastes good but not worth the value because of the reviews mentioned above. We dined to this place to celebrate my wife's birthday but we did not receive any complimentary cake. This would have been very minor but we felt discriminated since the table next to us was prioritized because they were paying more. The receptionist however was welcoming so will give this a 2 rating to be fair. The place can be better if the staff were accommodating and enthusiastic.

Before this place was hot and very good but this time I found that it became very lousy. I was a lover of this restaurant before but not anymore. Food is limited and they re use the food. For example they serve Maki in sashimi section and you can find fried Maki in Japanese section. When I tate it immediately I knew that it was from left over. Mannerism is way to destruction.

Good variety of food, but we enjoyed almost none of it. 2 out of the 3 soups were cold, the paella rice was too salty, the beef at the carving station was too tough, uncooked pasta. My companion even found a surprise at the sushi station which I'm not going to mention here because we don't have picture proof.

We went here to celebrate the birthday of my son last December 23,2021. We were always a fan of this restaurant, however everything changed that night. You don't get what you pay for.
- You pay almost 1000 per person and yet the restaurant felt like they were coming short on every food.

- Crews there will be the one to provide you food or desserts and they will give so little amount. When you ask for more, they will tell you that it is not allowed. So why was it called "unlimited" then?

- Most food trays are all emptied out, and it takes too long for them to refill it. By the time they refill it, you no longer crave for that food anymore.

- Food quality was not good either, beef meat aren't soft enough to eat properly and other foods tasted like they were coming short of some ingredients or what not.

- Birthday celebrants are not provided their birthday cakes, and are not entertained anymore. They treat birthday celebrants as ordinary customers. No crews singing with vibrant backgrounds and personalities.

- Lastly, the staff are not friendly. It felt like when they talk to you, they do not have any choice. They don't even smile and are not courteous. From the staff that will greet you in the entrance to the ones inside.

Overall, we did not really enjoyed our experience here. Such a bummer that the Vikings that we used to know is not the same anymore. We felt like we could have eaten to other luxury restaurants, that way it wouldn't be a waste of money. Vikings definitely lost their title being a "luxury" buffet restaurant.

Not a lot of food variety just like it used to have, the line was long, would eat up almost 30 mins to wait for hakaw or Tempura, the food trays were almost always empty. Vikings seem to he not a happy eat-all-you-can go-to place anymore. We were not as happy as before.

It didn't have all that choice of food I was looking for as compared to what was being served at other Vikings Luxury Buffets. Plus there are a few service crews who seemed to not attentive to some of our requests considering the place was not crowded.

Vikings SM Marikina Branch offers a wide variety of cuisines from all over the world. You have Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Italian, Mexican, American, Korean and more.

Although the food was not as it used to be, we still had a positive experience and would definitely consider coming back.

I recommend booking an appointment so you can have the ideal seats.

Always running out of sashimi, steamed sharksfin and hakaw.loved the roastbeef though.i was cutting down on carbs so as much as i wanted to try the paella i had to fight it.i noticed there was not much choices of pasta too and the pizza were both meatless.overall, it was ok but not excellent.also there was no more crowd control i was not aware that it was already 100% seating capacity.most guests does not mind bumping into each other anymore, even brought babies and dogs.

Great food even during pandemic, only thing I noticed is they are holding out on their servings like tempura and sashimi unlike before where they'll just keep cooking and dumping them on their disppay area.

This is the place to be. Our go to buffet. You can never go wrong here. Celebrants eat for free on their birthday (birthday Promo).

Lack of food choices. Around 20 (including desserts and drinks) I think previously they had around 40+.
The only thing good here is the roast beef and kare kare. The other food were okay but not worth the price.

Due to pandemic, they are not allowed to get the food you want, only the server but they cannot serve the customer well, due to lack of server. Aside from that the foods are not worth the price you paid for.
Salmon sashimi lang ang binabalikan ko sa Vikings, but when the time we go there, after one serving, the server said °balik po kayo after 5mins dahil nagka cut pa°then nagpabalik balik ako sa server only to found out na wala na talaga

Glad they are open and I enjoyed the sashimi, roast beef, Quatro Formaggi, imported beer, brewed coffee and the dimsum. Totally agree also to lessen cross contamination by having staff manage the buffet. They do need to replenish fast moving food items quick as most diners give up when it is usually gone quick like the tempura and the bagnet.

Vikings during the pandemic: They require you to show your vaccine card upon entry, but they don't tell you about their strict protocols na hindi naman nasusunod. Bawal na kasi kumuha ng sariling food. They have these crowd control stanchions that you're not supposed to cross. Once you approach the station, you're supposed to give your plate to the staff, then they'll get the food for you. Pero since konti yung staff, each one covers multiple stations. Yung ibang guests since hindi naman aware dun sa rule, kumukuha ng food kasi wala namang staff sa station. Tapos kapag nachambahan mo naman na may staff, malamang may pila.

Speaking of pila, it's still insane to me that a "luxury buffet" would make you line up for juice. Yung drinks nila, kailangan mo pa order sa bar. Understandable kung for stuff like coffee, tea, cocktails. Pero yung juices, iced tea, at water? Kailangan pa talaga ipila?

Lastly, very noticeable yung changes sa spread. Kokonti ang variety. Ang daming wala sa mga usual expensive stuff dati like lechon, oysters, caviar, and other seafood.

In conclusion, hindi na sya sulit for me. I get that businesses are struggling, but so have the people. We're paying good money and expect quality.
