Z Hostel

Good chilled rooftop bar was the place my friends and I visited. We didn't stay here nor did we eat anything, just drank some beers.

Music was on point, and we were rocking old skool stuff with a little more modern vibe. Drinks fairly priced and service was top notch by friendly staff always with a smile.even the big at the elevator

Perfect location if you plan to do bar hopping within Poblacion. Customer service is also great, they're very nice!

I stayed in a private room and it was very clean and spacious. I had a room on level 4 and it wasn’t too noisy (even on a Saturday night.) They had an atm inside which was handy, nice breakfast everyday and the best part was the rooftop bar.

Good hostel, just make sure you don’t get the bed in the dorm next to the A/C.
My friend had that and when he woke up he only slept 3 hours and almost turned into a Magnum Ice cream

The room is clean. They just need to fix the beds I guess because there's a squeaky sound. The location is nice because there are a lot of options for restaurants and convenient stores. Staff is approachable.

Great spot in the heart of Makati. Good for a night or two before going onto the islands. Only qualm is the noise at night, often lasts deep into the night from neighbouring bars

Had an excellent stay at Z-Hostel in Manila. The central location makes it convenient to reach popular pubs and feels very safe. The hostel facilities are well-maintained and clean. The rooftop bar is a standout feature, offering great views and a social atmosphere. Overall, Z-Hostel is a top choice for any traveler to Manila.

Room has no television thats it wifi is good but i dont know one time it suddenly shuts down.they have whatsapp to contact but most of the time they wont read your message

Bad drinks. Very expensive and not even comfy. Only thing saving it from a 1 star is the nice view at night

My go-to roof top bar thou the space a little small and it gets really crowded on the weekends.

Rooftop bar is great! Nice view of the city. Funny cocktail mixer names. Cool wrist gadget like a top up card to pay for your food and drinks. Safe for when you're drunk no need to expose your wallet or open your purse.

Z Hostel is a super social and cool place to spend a couple days in Manilla. The free walking tour each day at 4: 30pm helps you meet new people and then everyone socialises on the rooftop bar. Then once the bar closes whoever is up for it will hits some nearby bars/clubs.

It's super cool that there's a rooftop bar at the hostel. The breakfast arrangement is super convenient too because you don't have to show up for it at a certain time to get it. It's centrally located too.

Seemed like a good bar but getting drinks if youre not staying at the hostel is a process which i chose not to go thru, since there 500 other bars down the road

A really great Hostel in a lively part of Manila. Surrounded by a lot of nice Bars. The rooms of this Hostel are really good and clean abd have Comfortable beds. The Staff is really helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fine and if you miss the breakfast they offer you something else. A Really nice Thing about Z Hostel is, they have a rooftop bar with a good selection of Drinks and an Amazing view especially at Night. I really can recommend this Hostel if you stay in Manila.

Came to have a drink upstairs but there's a 70p fee per person for a a bracelet that you have to load with minimum 300p of credit (each). Sorry but you just turned away some easy business.
If you just want to check out a rooftop - 'I'm Hotel' or 'City Garden Grand' have fantastic views and don't charge a thing.

Awesome place to stay at. It is really well located: not too far away from many restaurants/malls. Besides, the staff is nice and really helpful when you need it. The dormitory rooms are also clean and comfortable. You really gel safe and at home. Finally but not last, they offer a great free poblacion tour with the best tour guides:)

Highly recommend! Perfect for solo travelers, fun vibe and the rooftop has an amazing view.

Be sure to go on the walking tour with Jian! He is fun and amazing, and has the best recommendations for bars, restaurants etc.
The tour is also a perfect way to get to know the area and other people.

If you are into crowded places, go to their rooftop bar. It used to be super good before but I quite don’t understand how people would squeeze in so much just to get up there. One wrong move can cause a stampede.

But nevertheless, good place to hang when it is not busy but that’s quite a rare sight to see even during weekdays!

Great hostel with awesome vibe. They have got a rooftop bar and many locals and non local guests go up there to meet people. And they have the best guide, Jian for their daily free walking tour. Make sure you join the walk when you are there!
