Boracay New Wave Divers

I had the opportunity to dive 3 times in this center. I thank the staff and especially Marge who guided me to fully experience my dives. I also salute the professionalism of the instructors with whom I dived.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my two children to New Wave Divers for their diving certification, and I must say, it was an amazing experience! Our instructor, Julia, was simply outstanding. My son, who is 13 and has always been fascinated with diving, thoroughly enjoyed his lessons. My daughter, who is 10 and was a bit more anxious about diving, was initially hesitant, but Julia went above and beyond to make her feel safe and comfortable. Now, my daughter loves diving just as much as my son does!

But it wasn't just Julia who made our experience so great. All the other staff members, including Marge, Gulierm, and Joanne, were super nice and welcoming. They helped us with everything we needed and made us feel right at home.

Overall, I cannot recommend New Wave Divers enough. If you're looking for a great place to get certified or just to do some diving, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back for more diving adventures!

Best diveshop I have been to in the Phillippines. Recommend to dive with Julia, Pancho, Filip or Gerald. Marge, the owner, is cool. 5 out of 5 china points.

Fortunately I was able to do several dives with the New Wave guys when I was in Boracay in July. I came across the center by chance but the first impression was great, very professional, clean, and from the first minute I wanted to dive with them. I went with a friend who had never been scuba diving and thanks to Guillaume he was able to feel safe and accompanied on his first fun dive.
After each dive they offer you food, smiles and very good material in perfect condition.
When I return to Boracay I will go diving with them and if I still do not have my Advance course, I hope to take it in their center. You are awesome! Thank you and more thank you!

It was an amazing dive experience for me and my boyfriend as we did our Advanced Open Water Course together with New Wave Divers. Guillaume our instructor was extremely knowledgeable and we had an amazing two days doing 5 dives, building up our confidence, having fun and earning our certificate, all at the same time. Highly recommend all new and experienced divers to dive with New Wave Divers cos they’re the best!

Diving with New Wave Divers was uncomplicated and fun. Everything from booking to preparation, to diving, to payment was handled very professionally and smooth. Had some really fun dives with them. It's (usually) only a short walk from their shop to the boat and they made sure to always choose the right dive site in accordance to the weather conditions. Visibility was clear, variety of dive sites was tailored to my expectations and especially Richie was a great guide. Would definitely book with them again!

Excellent diving center! From communication and response on inquiries; thank you Marge, and meeting with my amazing diving instructor, Troy, 5-star all the way. Made my open water course enjoyable and not so intimidating. Despite the weather; typhoon in Boracay, the team was flexible enough to help me get certified. And when I had pressure in my ear that almost send me to panic attack under water, Troy helped me stay calm and was encouraging. Planning to come back here for my advance open water course.:)

I did my open water course with new wave divers and loved it. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The sites were amazing and I couldn’t believe how good the visibility was. It was so good I went back with my friend to do a fun dive the day after finishing my course. Would 100% recommend!

I opted for the Peak performance buoyancy course, me being open water certified. If i had more time i would have definitely done the advance course from here. Luca was the Dive instructor/master and super relaxed, attentive and patient. The boat, equipment and the dive centre was all great Luca also shared extra tips on what to focus next time to get better. Having done 16 dives till now, this experience has been one of the good ones! Was surprised by the coral life too and the variety of fish. Dive sites done - Fridays rock and coral garden

Super convenient and responsive to book via Whatsapp with Marge. Dive centre is nice, new and clean! Dive masters were professional and helpful!

I followed the PADI Open Water course here, and even got some private lessons! Very friendly and professional, with a lot of attention to safety and personal preferences. Definitely recommend!

As a slightly smaller dive shop they generally don't take large groups and this gives a much more personal dive experience that gives you chance to discuss your needs, feel taken care of and get the best from your dives. All new good quality equipment, so no worries there. 100% great value.

I completed my Advanced course with Luca and additional fun dives with Richie. It was a great experience and I'm a much better diver thanks to all the advice and tips - thanks so much guys! I saw a few people come to try Scuba for the first time and have a wonderful experience so they are great no matter your experience level - they will take care of you.

Marge in the shop is super responsive and friendly, if you have any questions just reach out to her.she also makes a great banana muffin (if you're lucky!). P.s. Ask if she's completed her Open Water yet!

The crew at the shop accommodated us on short notice and gave my daughter an in-depth open water diver course while we were in Boracay. Her instructor Luca explained the content very thoroughly and in a way she could retain everything. She will hopefully use what learned with New Wave for the rest of her life.

Amazing dive school on land and in the water. Everyone was so kind and helpful with tons of recommendations for future dive sites. Luca was a great dive instructor! I look forward to coming back here the next time I am in Boracay!

We we're with my wife to Boaray in february 2023 and we spend 3 days with the new wave divers Center. 2 for our advanced open water formation and 1 day for a fun dive.
Our first connection was by e-mail and i was really satisfied about the communication service. Even from an other continent, everything was clear, they was attentive and profesionnal (by the way, they can also assure extra-service: transfer from the airport to the island, organise boat tour of Boracay, recommand and reserve a restaurant for you). So 10/5 stars for this!

About the Center, everything you need is at disposition. All was clean and nice.
The center is not so much visible and i hope they will find a solution for this. For the costumers but also for them.

About the divings, we made everything with our instructor Patrice.
An incredible person who can speak french (for us) and also english (maybe others language?). A great and profesionnal diver who will take all the time to explain you everything and will put your safety in priority.
If you want a real formation with serious procedure i recommand you Patrice. If you want the opposite way and have your dive without any precaution, information or safety, go looking for another diving center!

I ended up on Boracay and with the boys rather by chance, friends made their diving license there at that time and I joined them for an adventure dive.
It was the first time for me Scuba Diving and I will definitely come back to get my license. Highly recommended!

We did the AOW course at NEW WAVE. They reply email fast and give you all the information you need at the very beginning. That’s why I choose NEW WAVE. The staff there did a great job.
我們在NEW WAVE做AOW，價錢不錯，兩天潛五隻完成課程，但是在長灘島沒辦法夜潛，因為船五點之後就不能靠岸了，有點可惜。中文教練是中國人，已經在當地待了三年，對當地滿熟的。

After some research I decided on this location to complete my Open Water Certification while on vacation. I was paired with Instructor Harry for my instruction and skills. He was great, always giving me adequate time to feel confident and comfortable. I was also glad to see the equipment was good quality and in good repair. Student to instructor ratio was great with everyone getting good instruction before the dives. They didn't over crowd the boat like some others I saw in the area. A truly amazing experience in every way. All the staff were wonderful and helpful. The New Wave, you will be who I recommend.
