45 One of the oldest bistros in the country and one of the best.
I come here every year and every year I eat delicious food there.
It's only sad that you can no longer pay by credit card.
My friends and I tried their famous Guapple Pie. It's very tasty and delicious. The sweetness is just right.
A must try when you visit Silay City)
El Ideal is one of the reasons why I wanted to visit Silay. And boy, it was worth it.
Ang sarap ng guapple pie nila, panalo yung combination ng bayabas at mansanas with cinnamon for some kick.
Refillable din yung native coffee, sarap!
Tourist scam. Once they know you're not a local, the server scams your change. 3 of us bought there, and 3 of us had to demand for our change or ask for the exact change. Nobody is that stupid. Server is obviously trying to steal from customers.
This is my first time to try this famous local restaurant that's been around for a century, and I must say that their food is really great. As a kakanin lover, their puto lanson is really yummy.
Its a local Bakery and Restaurant. Food is good and their pastries are delightful. They have great pasalubong goodies.
Spanish era building. Peaceful. Food is delicious. Serves meal and snacks. Native food/kakanin. Found in Silay City.
Guapple pie all the way bro! This is a tourist destination in my hometown because of their savory food and sweet delicacies and recently when I dined there was a lot of tourists just popping in and out there. Ngl, the staff were smooth af with managing the ppl eating and the ppl asking for takeouts.very good job! Its like, its not their first rodeo
Went here after attending afternoon mass in Silay. Sad that when we went there, most of their breads are out of order already. From the guava pie, Pineapple pie to napaleones. It was no longer available. But nice to have seen this landmark in Silay.
You must try their GUAPPLE PIE!
My new favorite in Silay.
Do not miss to try their Guapple pie.
You will not regret. Promise.
If you want to taste a history of Silay this is certainly the place to be! Great food especially batchoy and their endearing buko pie!
Affordable foods. Authentic experience of local delicacies from 1920's Silay. Servings are just right. Had chicken pie, wapple pie, burger steak, spareribs and of course batchoy. Senorita is what they are famous as and it really lives up to 'best seller pasalubong'.
The best dulce gatas ever. Love their cassava cake too. Never fails to satisfy my sweet cravings.
In my recent experience, they do not value time for customers. No ETA given upon order and only to figure out that it has been 30 mins yet your order is still being cooked.
An iconic establishment and the best place to order pasalubong when in Silay. Their guapple (guava apple) pie is a classic dessert with a unique taste.
Hmmm buko pie ang lasa rate ko 2/10 dili lami, place sa solod ngit ngit. Mao ra. Dili nako mo balik sunod:).
I like the ambiance and its history. I recommend the egg pie and guapple pie paired with their local brewed coffee.
Must try when you're in Bacolod. El Ideal is one of the oldest pastry shops in Bacolod and the home of the apple-guava pie, pastries, breads and other local delicacies that you can buy for your loved ones on your way back. They also offer rice meals, pansit, merienda and more. Good place to dine.
Made a stopover, ordered Pancit Molo and Fresh Lumpia. It's my first trying the dish called Pancit Molo, after hearing tagalogs say it's so nice to have on rainy weathers, and damn the Pancit Molo was really good! The ambience is also nice, looks historic and well maintained. It was in the afternoon on a Holiday when we arrived, It's a place known for pasalubongs but too bad I didn't get to try the Buko Pie. Most of their signature delicacies were already sold out. Next time, be extra early.
El Ideal is a good place to go if you want to taste a piece kf history. From 1920 delicacies to meals, this is the right place to spend with your family and friends. With warm and welcoming staff, with great food - all you need to think about is to be in the moment and enjoy.
