JD Bake Shop reviews
22A local fast food chain that serves good and affordable meals. When in Iloilo, this is one of my go-to places for a quick and easy meals. My favorites are chicken sotanghon and pancit molo. I always grab a handful of their bread products on my way out - all of them are so soft and very delicious. Their staff including the security guard are very courteous.
Nagmahal na ang food compared sa last time I was here. Quality is almost the same I guess. Mahaba pa rin waiting time pero okay lang naman sakin
Affordable food and treats.
My go-to orders are ensaladang langka and mushroom soup that comes with 2 pieces of toast.
Poor management!
We we're given by the staff a written receipt from them. We have reserved 30 small ensaymadas and 30 spanish rolls. The staff specifically wrote "Plz reserved" and underlined it twice.
And yet when we came to collect what we have reserved for, they said that the Spanish rolls we're not available!
Please be better at handling your reservations in the future!
They have variety of food and menu to choose from. Affordable and their prices are student friendly.
Place is clean, staff are hospitable and food taste great. Took a bit long for the food to be served though
My go to store whenever I crave for breads like piña bar, cheese rolls, ensaymada and their specialty assorted bars - they also deliver via GrabFood.
They have a wide variety of breads to choose from. There were a lot of customers eating when we came there proof that their food was good. Aside from breads and cakes they also serve rice meals, combo meals, pastas, different beverages etc. Unfortunately I was not able to try their rice meal because of our limited time. But all in all I give this store a two thumbs up!
Its a lot bigger now than it was before and with its great menu and bread on display, Id say its a great play to have a snack and buy some bread
Pretty spacious dining area with adequate setup of the counters and shelves with take home bites. Serving time is quite decent considering it's near a major university.
Only concern is the toilets, which needs to be fixed, cleaned and monitored at all times.
Not crowded. They have cute and nice cinnamon rolls and other new bread. Offers takeout and dine in.
The food and drinks are cheaper compared to other restaurants. The food also tastes good. But I noticed, as experienced multiple times, they often mistaken their own product esp.the small treats/bars, and they often short change costumers like 50 centavos - it's not a big deal if they don't have change but they should politely inform the costumers, often times they just assume that it's okay; I think there is a law about short changing.
Service was good, the staffs were approachable, the place not so busy which is nice and most important of all, the food were delicious! It's always a must to go to JD bake shop if ever you're in Iloilo. Me and my friends ordered palabok, cordon bleu, ube de leche and so much more. We left with a satisfied full stomach!
You get what you pay for. It's a cheap place to dine in and don't expect large food serving. Food is delicious and we love the ginat an. Their version of ginataan. They also serve Callos which I reluctantly ordered but it did not disappoint me. Our food came out kinda slow. It took 20 minutes to serve them which I didn't expect from a fastfood restaurant.
Good food at very affordable prices. Ideal for pasalubong and giveaways. The place is a bit underrated for sure, not sure why. One of my family favorites and we make sure to drop by when in Iloilo.
POOR INEFFICIENT SERVICE! WAITED FOR MY BREAKFAST TO BE SERVED FOR 35 MINUTES AND WHEN IT WAS SERVED, I WAS TOLD THAT COFFEE IS NOT READY UNTIL AFTER 20 MINUTES. THEY WASTED MY TIME!
Im not native in Iloilo so when I first visited the cafe I was shocked with how affordable the prices are considering the quality. Cafes of this caliber at davao would have atleast twice as much price. Great selection of pastries from cakes to bread to bars. Delicious pasta.
Landmark of Jaro.
There may be up to a 45 minute wait and some inattentive waiters.
Food is good and very flexible (i.e. You can order just a chicken with nothing else).
I recommend the americano and the decadent chocolate cake after the fried chicken.
A nice place to eat. Offers affordable and delicious food and delicacies. It has a big space just enough to cater bunch of students especially at lunch time.
Great Place
Affordable meals for students and professionals. A must have when in Iloilo. The brownies are the most delicious (for me)
