Volet's Resort Hotel & Restaurant

They didn't disclose to us the rules/policy regarding night swimming. Our family expected that we would be able to use all their facilities during night swimming because that's what we paid for. They only mentioned that we couldn't use the waves at night, which was fine with us because we could still use other amenities. However, in the end, they transferred us to their private pool. My family is really disappointed about this, especially the children, as they expected a lot of choices in terms of slides and pools. We could have understood if they had disclosed this to us initially, but they didn't.

I thought it was a good hotel that’s why I checked in last August 8,2022… The first room they gave me was so dirty the floor was dirty and I saw roaches in the room, the whole bathroom wasn’t clean the mirror was dirty and sink was really nasty I couldn’t even use the water from the rusty faucet to brush my teeth and I almost throw up, so I complained and they gave me another room. The next room wasn’t dirty like the first one but still it wasn’t clean like I expected, because my 8 yr old really tired that night I decided to stay there that night and check out early in the morning.

Hotel was not clean, sheets were full of stains and dead insects. Insects roaming all over room and corridors, including a centipede under the toilet seat. Shower has no pressure. Very loud on weekend nights with kids using the pools at 2am in the morning. Wifi was poor/non-existent. Had to leave halfway through the booking.

The price doesn't match the quality. Shower rooms and bathrooms are like morgue. Hotel is rubbish, pools are not clean. You can even see moss and dirt. This place doesn't even deserve a single star rating.

AWARENESS AND HOPEFULLY A LESSON TO YOUR VERY BAD MANAGEMENT!

My family and a bro whom we invited because he is leaving again this august, returned to VOLETS Resort as we were not able to make it with the waves last time sabi kasi pagdating namin weekends lang binubuksan ung waves (honestly misleading weekdays open wave pool pero wla naman waves pla) but then its ok kasi nga we just wana have a wonderful time but then as we return on that sunday we experienced one of our worst nights. We paid everything first as i and my bro bought some foods as we return i was looking for the salbabida na dapat ay hahanginan namin pero as we enter we were charged of it 40pesos sa pahangin ok lng wla problema my wife and babyboy went in already pla. As we laid our foods tinatawag na ako ng wife ko substitute daw habang nagswiswimming si baby. I then changed clothes habang nagswiswiming kami wla pang 10 minutes nangangati na ng sobra katawan ko una akala ko normal na kati lng but then ilang minuto pa grabeh na buong katawan pangangati tapos napansin ko hndi nageenjoy si baby pagswiming puro pangangamot xa sa katawan. Kaya naisip ko umahon muna at mgtanong kay mommy pagbalik ko ayun kaya pla nagpasub si mommy super nangangati din xa at ang masaklap grabeh na mga pantal sa buong katawan niya. Immediately humiling ako ng management na pwede makausap PERO DAMN! WALA KAHIT SINO. ANG SABI SA AMIN AY WALA KAMI MAKAKAUSAP DAHIL UMUWI NA DAW BUMALIK NA LANG DAW KINABUKASAN (DAMN! BABALIK KINABUKASAN EH DI HUWAW DI BA? !) MAGPAKUMBABA KAYO AT WAG MAGMATAAS KUNG MAY MALI KAYO HUMINGI KAYO DISPENSA AT AYUSIN NYO HINDI YUNG GAGALITIN NYO.

Appearance is OK, but something stinks. Garbage is temporarily dumped, no one knows for how long, at a corner inside the basement parking just a few meters away from the pool. And not to mention the maggots crawling in different directions.

I went to their resort to swim & I observed a few things.

1. The pools are fairly clean, but moss & dirt are still clearly visible.

2. Insects such as cockroaches are seen moving about near the pool & about as large as a thumb.

3. The life guards are okay but cannot see a minor distress which may become serious, an example of this is when I was swimming & I pulled a calf muscle. I was at deep water at that time so I had difficulty swimming to the surface & almost drowned if it were not for my swimming lessons helping me resurface & reach safe waters.

4. The staff is not very attentive.
When I got out of the pool & walked to the shower room, the life guard didn't even give a comment on what happened, he just looked at me without saying anything.

5. The staff sometimes forget their statements.
I then experienced a problem with their customer support when I lost my rash guard. I messaged them 2 days after I lost my rash guard & they completely forgot about it.they told me that "I ask the staff of the resort for your concern sir.

I'll just contact you then. Thank you ", I then messaged them again 2 days later asking if they found it & it seemed like they didn't even remember it at all. I kept asking them to check the shower room (the place that I lost my rash guard in) & all they could say was sorry as well as saying "it's probably lost by now" without even them stating that they checked the place out.

Conclusion: All my observations point to these words

Unempathetic- They cannot feel the distress & pain we feel if we are suffering from something.the example would be my rash guard, but more examples could be made with other peoples experiences.

Lenient- The company hiring the workers are lenient on their training of supporting their customers. The example is the life guard (also unempathetic) which also does not question what happened to the guest.

Unregulated- What I mean by unregulated is that the staff or the establishment does not make Groups/Parties for anything well. The example would be Groups/Parties for Cleaning, Life Guarding, After operations inspection & the like. If there was a party/group in charge of after operations inspection then I would have not lost my rash guard & it would have been promptly returned to me.

I am angry that they didn’t put an effort to find my lost items, but I am still glad that I lost that item, now I know that I WILL NOT be staying in this place EVER again.
I observed all of this with just a couple (4-5) days, try imagining a week or a month.

First of all, let me talk about first the good experience we had here. This place is very big and has a lot of pools that you can go thru, they have lazy rivers and also many slides and a wave pool. Not only that, their kiddie pool has a bucket and a lot if stuff is happening. If you live close by here I can see that this is the best swimming place for people that live in Dasmariñas. But let me point out the bad stuff. My problem here as a regular is that this place is very hazardous and is not maintained very well. Their slides a broken paints and what happened to me is I got injured by a paint that slid (imagination warning) that slid through my toes. It is very painful and a terrible experience. I suggest that if you ever come is be careful mostly with their slides.

Paid much than usual… and below expectations. Poor wifi, water hot/has issue.my assessment the room i got should be 50% off

Hotel service is bad. We've paid 2,650 pesos for a deluxe room but there's no cleaning for 5 days, no change of towels, even the floor mat. Toilet maintenance is poor. Breakfast is awful. You arrive at the restaurant at 8.30 am but no more coffee. My gosh, a hotel without coffee for breakfast? It's ridiculous The only good thing is the swimming pool.

This used to be our go-to resort when we were kids. But now, the resort expanded but it is still overcrowded at times. The water in their pools are no way near to being clear. A lot of options for cottages and they are affordable. Shower rooms are okay.

Variety of pools you can swim on, affordable entrance fee and cottages but cottages are infested with flies and some pools have no signages on how deep it is.

Many pools to choose in. Not all slides are available. Showerrooms are okay not all of them are functioning, weak water pressure. But the good thing here is there are safeguards on every pool even on the kids pool

Good place for relaxing.ambiance is good.clean & I love live band.kind & very approaching staff.keep up the good job!

Its ok the wave pool starts at 1pm and works for about 15 minutes.the wave pool also begins every two hours.the pool is a bit dirty tho.

Been to this resort countless time, still very much enjoyed the place.
Many pool choices, plenty of tables available, you can grill your food too!
Only Con is that their hotel price has increased dramatically but you still need to pay separate for the resort entrance.

Wonderful place
Has lots of cottages and shower rooms
Location is also near establishments like restaurants and grocery store.
Has parking space

Disappointed on customer service. Toddlers (ages 2 & 4) are charged as adults in room rates. They even charge another P200 each for the buffet breakfast (see image). Which i was informed by the catering staff that it is buffet serving, one-time serving only. They didn't even let me borrow their spoon ans and fork. Their room has mug and 1 pack of coffee. Instead i used the sachet of coffee to mix. The pool was ok though the lazy pool has a pungent smell.
