Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar reviews
70 A whole different place and time!
We love the old stuctures, tranvia rides, cobbled streets, fountains, dinner while cruising, folk dancing and many many more!
A very charming and romantic haven.
Truly unique place that feels almost authentic, except that there are modern amenities.it feels like you are in another country.friendly staff.decent wifi coverage. Plenty of things to do, like walking tour, cultural shows, atv, balsa rides.water activities available (but you can do those on other resorts). The cobblestone roads are nice to look at but rough to ride on.overall a memorable experience. Drones are allowed. Very photogenic place.december stay has good weather.be mindful of low tide/ high tide schedule when planning activities.the family room (good for 6) had 2 double beds, 1 toilet & bath (with a bath tub), tv and a split type aircon, it has balcony access to view the canals.the room has no windows, probably because of their design theme.the service is a bit hard to call because the area is so big and there are limited staff. It's faster if you go to the staff area to get your items, but everything is around a 3-5 min walk, or 1-2 min (free) jeep ride along cobblestone road.
You go here for a day tour that will cost you Php2900 per person or stay overnight. The place is huge. Every angle is instagramable. You will see here the old carousel and jeepney and a boat to help you travel. A guard will inspect you before getting in, ask for your reservation, get a copy of your id and plate number of your wheels. Photoshoot can also be done here which will cost you, I guess around Php8k. Retaurants, spa, atm, and others are available here. So, if you want to travel back in time, this is the best place to be.
Went for a day trip and it was fun. Not a lot of people. No long waits for tours. Cannot speak for the rooms since I didn't stay the night. The cultural show was fun t o watch at 5: 30pm!
We went for a day tour so I can't say for the rooms. They are quite pricey so we just opted the day tour for 2500 pesos on weekdays. It was worth it. The wholeexperience felt like you went on a time machine. Food is pricey as well so pack some snacks if you want to save a little. The day tour comes with a lunch set which taste great.
Historical buildings all in one place. The NOT so historical is the price they charge. You cannot just walk around to tour the area you have to pay the 2500 pesos per person tour package to do anything, otherwise you are turned away to admire the views from afar. There is no a la carte pricing to customize your own day here. A BIG disappointment!
Favorite place to visit! It transports you to the Old Manila's glory days. A collection of reconstructed 18th century, old Spanish style / colonial-style wood and stone houses, buildings, stilt houses, cobbled streets, an outdoor pool, a museum, a conference center and a beach area. You can rent and stay on the private casas and hotel rooms, watch cultural shows, dances and performances, appreciate the architectural details of the ornate woodwork and antique furnishings, experience the history, art and culture, explore the elegant and traditional elements of the 18th century Philippines, and enjoy the relaxing extraordinary view with the luxury of a modern hotel.
The scenery is very good and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It is a place suitable for traveling with the whole family.
Okay, everything was pretty awesome there, however, in the future I would like to see more water troughs for the horses/ livestock/ animals, and just a suggestion, if you line all the cobblestone with layers of sand, this will make the carts less bumpy and will make it easier on the wagon wheels, as well as the horses. I enjoyed the tour, and the tour guides were very knowledgeable, but seeing all those horses in the hot sun with no water and no place to drink water in sight, made me feel pretty bad for the animals.
The rest is an architectural marvel.
Worth the travel time for a time travel. A great place to visit. Very unique restored heritage homes!
The atmosphere was good but not the place. Needs to be managed deligently. There's roaches and bugs and also flies by the breakfast room. They dont even have a hot water in the shower. Not recommending this place specially to the foreigners
More than just a trip, its an awesome experience. Never imagined that traveling back in time could be this exciting. Just breathing the air with so much history
We stayed for 3D2N. It's a very relaxing experience. Food is superb. Courteous and helpful staff. They were very professional. We loved everything about the place! I'm sure you will do too!
Very nice and beautiful place. A great place for anybody that is interested in history and beaches.
Las Casas is an open-air museum that features heritage houses dating back to the Spanish colonial era.
I loved the sights, structures, architecture, cultural show, people, ambiance, night lights and cool breeze!
Make sure to experience staying at one of their old Spanish style hotels. Spend at least 2 days and 1 night so you can tour around the entire heritage park on the 1st day, see the beautiful lights at night, and enjoy sunbathing at the beach and other activities on the 2nd day.
The restaurants were full and there were long queues when we went there. The dishes were neither remarkable nor terrible, but I’m easy to please - as long as I’m with the company of people I love, I’m good - so, it’s still a 5-star destination for me.
The staff were quite lovely, all of them! Hats off to everyone, they made our overnight stay truly memorable.
Our casa was a delight, and everything is so picturesque we (and our cameras) couldnt get enough. The sounds of birds were icing on the cake.
Place is Mesmerizing.its a great concept to sell hospitality in the name of Spanish culture.we had a gala time there.
Thing to Note: drinking water is super expensive inside the premises, so please carry your own water.
They Don't have Room Service, any help required takes a lot of time.
It is very accessible and the staffs are very courteous and kind they have a lot of amenities, cultural architecture that they preserve beautifully and a lot of knowledge that everyone should know about our history and heritage
Everything is pricey but not really worth it (like food). Then you must wait a really long time just to ride the balsa cruise because you need to wait for other person to ride with. Place (environment) is really good but the hotels or apartments looks dirty.
Went to Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar way back 2018. We really appreciate the walking tour and seeing the collection of restored Spanish-Filipino houses.
