East Avenue Medical Center

I worked there for a decade since 1995, took my opportunity abroad in Middle East. As a nurse, we handled more than forty patients. We did our best to serve. There is a budget allotted on each government hospitals, maybe the salaries cannot sustained the employees’ daily needs.

Strictly following the protocol. We went here to visit a friend. Located in front of Banko Sentral and besides Heart Center.

Ang East Avenue ang naging tirahan ko nung nagbubuntis ako ng kambal halos 1 buwan s DR, 2 buwan s Ward 3north at 1buwan mahigit s Nicu o MCR.malinis ang paligid kung naagad itusan ang mga janitorial staff. Ang mga nurses and OBs mabibilis at magagaling isama ntin Junior Intern at Senior intern pero meron ding mga pabayang intern. This hospital are complete accommodation even not enough rooms for patient its because this Public and government hospital has so many patient or fully loaded everyday and night, 24/7. If you want to avail their room, you need to go and ask to the front desk or information area how is the process. The parking area with payment is tight, I think, almost 10 to 15 cars can be parked with pay, The price of parking area is it depend on the time start when you park.

Mahirap mag ER dito, dadaan daanan ka lang mas priority kasi nila yung mga di stable ang kondisyon, pero no choice ka kasi public to, dahil sa dami ng pasyente kaya meron talaga priority, pero mababait doctor dito,

The lobby looks great. And they have posted the prices for rooms that they have available, accommodating nurses and doctors. Very nice people also the nursing assistants. Very strict guards just right for crowed control. Why 4 star, is because we are the supposed to be suit room but the sink is clogged and also the shower area is clogged. Other than that the area is clean also the admitting personnel are really nice well not all but mostly I encountered where helpful

The place has been better since the last time I was there. Facilities has improved. Although there was a time when the CT scan was not available, there are nearby clinics that offered similar services.

Since it is one of the nearest and more popular hospitals in Quezon City, there are always long queues of people. If you ever visit, be there earlier.

Even though the hospital is packed with patients due to the high demand of hospital service and specialists, they have capable doctors/specialists and improving facilities. Easily accessible since it is at the center of QC. You just need patience since they attend to a really high volume of patients.

The hospital's occupancy rate is always above 100% its capacity so it is expected that there will be waiting time and crowded wardd and/or corridors. The doctors and nurses try their best to accomodate and immediately treat those in dire conditions. If you go here then, with non-emergency status, expect that they will prioritize those who are in life-or-death cases.

Sobrang Extremely Hassle at Stressful situation ang service na meron ang OPD. Lalo na sa pilahan at hinde man lang nabigyan ng budget ng upuan ng kabuuan ang pag'bile ng upuan para sa mga nag'aantay sa OPD sa labasan at sa mismong pila ka makakaranas ng init ng ulo at gutom.

Sana maisipan na damihan ang upuan at electric fan, dahel sa daming tao, sana maintindihan nyo na malalayo pa ang pinangalingan ng mga susugod sa OPD o emergecy area para serbisyuhan ng sobrang kay tagal.

Na admit ako dito due to my Obstructive Jaundice Choledocholithiasis, my Physician Doctor Dr. Mendoza & Dr. Duque are nice and my Surgeon Dr. Gumboc are very nice, but one of my doctor there are rude when i ask him if he will be my actual surgeon and said "OO, AYAW MO BA? " Syempre sinabi ko, "Diba po dapat alam ko kung sino ang magiging surgeon ko kaya nga ako nag tatanong eh kasi in the first place di naman siya nag pakilala but in the end di naman siya ang naging surgeon ko. Thanks god.

Nurses are nice too, but there are one beki nurse there na parang gigil na gigil sakin, lagi akong nilalagnat sa paglalagay niya saken ng swero. After that di ko na siya nakikita don na mag rounds. Very Traumatized!

Services, medyo matagal ang results sa laboratories, matagal din ang pag rasyon ng foods may times na super aga may time na matagal dahil din sa iniikot pa ng taga serve ang per building at flr, at inappropriate ang foods na para sa may bato sa apdo. Pero all in all ok na din.

Social service are very nice too. Thanks to them.

Madaming pasyente.malinis ang facility esp. OB ward.tyaga lang sa pagpila sa dami ng mga pasyente.

I know it's free but why do staff have to treat the patients as if they are beggars. Please treat your patient with kindness and patience because the we are paying for your salary as tax payers of this country. I understand that most of you got smaller amount of salary but don't blame those innocent patients.

Good facilities, but since it's a public hospital expect for limited bed occupancy and too crowded. Some of the hospital staffs are friendly but most are rude and arrogant. Some of the doctors are very reachable and nice, they know the protocol of being a good health care provider but most of them are too hooked by their professions that they doesn't even know how to treat their patients right.

Whenever i have a strong fever i always go here to do some check ups on and some of nurses and doctors here are nice and some of them don't

This hospital is terrible. Doctor is not present all the time. My aunt died because of them. The patients here are dying if you don't have money. Grabe ung nangyare sa tita ko. Pinaka worst hospital tlaga. Ang hirap maging mahirap.

Yung 2 shaded star diyan para sa mga nurse and doctors na nag alaga sa mama ko ng maayos yung 3 star na walang shades para sa mga shismosang nurse na maiingay madaling araw na tawanan pa ng tawanan kala mo nasa palengke overall maganda naman yung EAMC at affordable pa dahil sagot ng malasakit wala kaming binayaran thank you rin dahil magaling na mama ko thank you sa mga nurses at doctors na napakagaling love y'all

some of the nurses & security staffs have interacting attitude issues
some of the securities didn't comply w/ their protocols as said aka strict rules of no visitors & changing / shifting of patient's guardians allowed unless w/ a letter of authority of doctor's consent

Never again. The nurses are unprofessional. Too much gossiping and jokes inside the ER and not very accommodating whenever the patient follows up their queries. They suddenly gets mad of you even if they are the one who lost the documents. The ER is way too hot for the patients waiting. My two stars are for Dra. Chang of IM who accommodated us professionally. Thank you.

I just had a CS delivery last week. Before that i was admitted at the delivery room and a new resident in training received me. She puts a heplock without IV training, the first shot failed and bulged and she did not apologize. She just keeps on inserting without proper procedure. I know because i am a nurse trained in IV insertion. This doctor is rude. I was asking for a bed pan and she does not respond right away. Instead she's making me wait more as if my bladder wants to burst. After delivery and got to transfer in our room, i had these 2 nurses and 1 midwife which are very rude. They are arrogant and no respect to a senior. My experience here is not so good.
