Land Transportation Office reviews
38Grabe! Daming fixer it's up to you if you will transact with them. Normal medical rate should be 300 - 350 pero charged as 500 pesos! Better ASK sa mismong Public Assistance not sa Guard tsk tsk ang tagal pa rin.no hard plastic for drivers license parin.
Worst LTO. My experience was not smooth. Went to renew Vehicle Registration. They give u a number but it does nothing. They still call out names. Been waiting for 2 hrs just to renew. Go somewhere else.
Car registration. Almost 3 hours for emission test. 2 hours and counting for evaluation to payment.
Allocate half a day to do anything here. Most of the time is just spent waiting to pay. The place is in a sorry state with worn out seats and broken ceiling. Wondering where our taxes are going.
Sobrang bagal ng proseso sa renewal ng registration sa sanjuan mahigit dalwang oras simula ng ipasa sa evaluator ang papel hanggang lumabas sa cashier.
During renewal of car registration and after getting vehicle stenciled, I waited for more than 2 hours for payment step alone. Note that queue is minimal around 20 people.
I recommend heading to the LTO accredited site in Otis instead. Search for "Motor Vehicle Inspection Center OTIS".
Sobrang init sa waiting area, tapos pag pasok mo sa loob ang init pa din kasi yung dalawang malaking electric fan halos wala ng lumalabas na hangin.
Very disappointing! Particularly the staffs in the record section. Since my transaction here was transfer of ownership, from the MV inspector I was directed to handover my documents to window 7 (record section) and apparently the staffs here were not that accommodating nor helpful. They're not efficient on their job and never value the time of their clientele. I wasted 3 hrs of my time just waiting for them to retrieve the records of the MV I was transacting. They didnt have the heart of a true public servant, they were the typical "power tripper" type govt.employee.
The place is hot, too many similar information to write on multiple papers, concierge is not accomodating.
Poor license renewal service. Waiting time 2 to 3 hours. The people have no regard for their clients.
I will be renewing my car. Wala pang plate and invalid motor vehicle number and plate number.what the heck LTO.matawagan ko rin nga.
I have a bias against government offices. I still believe that ours reek in graft and corruption.
However, for this branch of LTO, there isn't a long queue unlike the one in N. Domingo. I still do not understand what the emission test is for when there are still plenty of vehicles which emit black smoke on the road.
Processing is smooth and hassle free, it takes an hour or less for vehicle registration renewal while it takes 2 to 3 hours for license renewal. Emission/Inspection has a daily quota limit so you need to arrive at least before 11AM.
I arrived 7: 20am. The guard told me I was 32nd in line. Operations started at 8: 00am. Finished transaction (car registration renewal) at around 10: 45am.
Appreciated the parking attendant/ manager. He'd call you out if you need to move your car.
Also, despite the decrepit condition of the office, the staff remain courteous.which is nice.
Directory or Website no indication of slot reserve for new application/applying for driver license (non-pro), the guard says you need to be early as 5am to get a ticket and reserve a slot. Wasted my whole one day leave because of that. If you are also planning to go on LTO Manila South-Post office area. They are appointment base (LTMS online portal), same as LTO Manila North-"Tayuman" should be D. Jose near the Doroteo Jose LRT 1 station inside the JT centrale mall-Fugoso street.
(Kindly visit those places for my connected review of LTO New application of driver license non-pro)
Ayos lang ganun talaga, kasi under staffed Siguro Sila kaya I'm courteous to those who showed up at work. I hope mas bumilis pa next time. Keep up the good work LTO. By the way, Yung OR ng rehistro ko ay simpleng bond paper na lang at mas bumaba binayaran ko dati Ph540+ pero ngayon Ph360 lang. ️
Quite difficult for parking, while securing/paying Student Permit alone takes you more than 3 hours caused by poor system or slow net connection according to some LTO Personnel 'mismo!
Mabilis ung service kaya lang plates wala pa din and pagtumatawag sa landline palaging busy halos the whole day
Intermittent internet connection = delay in card printing. Plus really inefficient process in license issuance. About one person processed per 10-15 minutes. Bring your patience. Plus side is they are already issuing 5-yr license cards. Come really early for faster processing; they open at 6am.
Applying for a renewal of license is now easier. Just take an online exam. Print the result. Go to the LTO nearest you. Get a medical certificate usually there's one beside the LTO. Then ask guard which window you hand in your test result, medical certificate & your old license. They will hand you a form to fill up, then wait for your name to be called for biometric & photo. Pay the fees and wait for your name to be called again. All this took me less than 1 hour.
